Ellie's POV
Hearing Asher and Alexander stick up for me always warms my heart. I don't know why they chose me as their best friend when they moved here but I will be forever grateful they did.
I had a few friends growing up but I wouldn't say I had a best friend and after I found Sam and Dean and came to school talking about them some of those so called friends, the head cheerleader being one, stopped talking to me saying I was too obsessed with wolf dogs. They wouldn't get it though, they have never even been to the sanctuary.
Alex and Ash were different, they loved when I would talk about Sam and Dean, they would also come over all the time. I found it weird I could never find Sam and Dean whenever they came to the sanctuary but the twins never thought I was lying or anything, they always said they were probably out hunting or running or doing what wolf dogs do so they never minded that they never met them. Sometimes I think it was for the best, when any other boys from school came around and met Sam and Dean the two wolf brothers would growl and were not welcoming, my two boys were definitely jealous in their own wolf dog ways.
"Hey Angel, what are thinking about?" Ash asks.
"Just how happy I am to have you two as my best friends, how I love that you always stick up for me and how I still can't believe you haven't met Sam and Dean, but at the same time I am kinda glad you haven't because any other guys I brought around they growl at them and aren't friendly with."
"Well those other guys aren't good for you. I bet they would love us." Alex says.
"And how would you know? You weren't even there when they came to the sanctuary either." I crossed my arms over my chest and gave a pointed look. Both Alex and Ash track the movement checking out the slight clevege the movement caused. I roll my eyes, boys, I think.
Ash ever the flirt leans down and whispers in my ear, "Because no one will ever be good enough for you Angel, besides you're ours and we don't like to share." His words make me shiver and send a feeling to my belly that is unfamiliar. He chuckles at my reaction and I slap his chest.
"Jerk, why do you always have to tease me?" I ask and he just shrugs.
"It's the truth sweetheart, you are ours and we don't like to share. The guys around here can try to make you theirs all they want but that won't happen." Alex chimes in supporting his twin's statement.
"You are both ridiculous and if I wanted to date someone you guys would have no say, just because you are my best friends doesn't mean you get a say in my love life." Or lack there of. I say to them.
"Oh Angel, you have no idea."
Just then the lunch bell rings signaling time for the next class. Uggg I hate to leave my best friends especially to go to Mr. Halls' class but unfortunately I don't have a choice.
We all stand up, toss our trash away and head out the cafeteria. Once we get to the stairs where I have to go up to get to class the twins lean down and give me a kiss on the cheek. It's a daily routine and it makes my heart flutter everytime. Sometimes I wish they saw me as more than their best friend and other times I'm glad they don't because I could never imagine what would happen if something more happened and then we broke up. Our friendship would be ruined and I couldn't lose that.
Asher's POV
I love when Alex and I can rile Ellie up, especially when it comes to her potentially dating. I know it might not be fair to her, especially if we find our fated mate but we have purposely scared off any guy who comes sniffing around. At first we weren't sure if doing it in our wolf forms would do the trick, especially if some dude just took our threat as being harmless animals but none of them showed up around her again so they must have gotten the message.
On occasion we've had to treaten a few douche bags to stay away. Especially if they were grade A jerks who only seen woman as conquests and were only interested in Ellie to try to "win" her V-Card. We would never allow anyone to take advantage of her like that. We would burn the world down before that could happen.
Once Ellie walks up the stairs towards her class, Alex links me. 'Did you catch the scent of her arousal when you whispered she was ours?'
'Yeah man, I swear if we weren't in school I would ravish her.'
'Just remember she has to want us too.'
'I know, I would never take advantage. It does however make me want to take her as a chosen mate. I mean I don't know if I could leave her if we found our fated.'
'I know what you mean, but at the same time only our fated mate can make us stronger and we need stronger to destroy whoever it was that betrayed us and get our pack back. Besides there is still a small chance that Ellie is our fated, after all we have felt a strange pull towards her since day one.'
'Yeah, an extremely small chance, but you're right, I just don't want to lose her man. She's everything.'
We head to our classes and it feels like the rest of the day drags on. Once the final bell rings we go looking for our girl at her locker but she isn't there which is highly unusual.
'Where is she?' I ask Alex.
'I don't know but my wolf is anxious, he thinks something is wrong.'
We both go to look for Ellie scenting the air to see if we can find her. Once we catch her scent we rush to follow it. It leads to one of the classroom's upstairs and I hear Alex growl.
'It's Mr. Halls class, she shouldn't be in there now.' Alex snarls.
'Maybe she had to ask him something or he told her to come back after classes are over.' I try to reason but something doesn't feel right.
We get closer to the classroom door and we hear a muffled cry. What the hell is going on?
"Shhhh, it's okay Ellie, I am not going to hurt you." We hear Mr. Halls say, "I just want to apologize for always being so mean to you, you are such a pretty little thing and soon enough you won't be in my class anymore and I just wanted you to see how much you affect me. It's why I asked you here after school. I want the chance to give you some extra credit."
'Is he implying what I think he is' I growl
'If he is I am going to kill him.' Alex sounds murderous.
"P-p-please don't, I-i-i don't need or want extra credit." Ellie stutters through sobs.
"Oh baby, it's okay to be nervous. Everyone is the first time. I promise it will be okay. It will help you with future college applications and so much more."
At that Alex and I had enough we burst through the door ready to kill him on the spot at what we see. He has Ellie pinned against the back corner out of sight of anyone just passing the door. She has tears streaming down her face and looks terrified. Alex lets out a snarl and I growl as we both rush over. Alex throws him off her and across the room while I hold Ellie. She starts shaking in my arms and I pull her closer.
"It's okay Angel, you're safe now we have you." I whisper.
Alex has Mr. Halls pinned down and I can see he's about to lose control, his fangs are starting to show and his claws are enlongating , I mindlink him telling him he can't shift here, especially not with Ellie so terrified and that seems to help. Shortly after another teacher comes barreling in, they must of heard us break down the door.
"What has happened here?" They demand. Alex is too worked up to speak and Ellie is too distraught to speak, so I answer.
"We came to find our friend here since we all drive home together after school and we found Mr. Halls with Ellie pinned up against the wall telling her if she does 'extra credit' for him he will help her with college applications and so much more. She was crying telling him she didn't want or need extra credit and he wasn't taking no for an answer."
"Are you sure he wasn't just trying to help her grades by giving her extra credit work?" The teacher asked.
"He was definitely implying that if she gave him sexual favors he would help her future." Alex grits out.
The teacher's eyes widened then she really took in the scene, Ellie hysterically crying in my arms, looking disheveled, Alex holding down the creep of a teacher Mr. Halls, Mr. Halls' belt undone and zipper down, like he was truly ready to force himself on a student. She gasps and turns to the phone on the wall.
Hitting the extension for what I assume is the front office, she tells the other person they need to call the cops for a possible child abuse charge against an educator.
Once she's off the phone she asks us if we need to call anyone. I had already mindlinked Momma about what was going on and I grabbed Ellie's phone from her bag and texted her parents.
It took about 30 minutes for the police to arrive and arrest Mr. Halls. Our parents had arrived within 10 after we contacted them. Ellie's parents were obviously beyond angry and said besides the state charges they would be pressing their own charges as well.
We all arrive at Ellie's home after about an hour. She hasn't stopped crying and I don't blame her. It was hard for her to even give a statement to the officers but she did. Once we were in her house Alex and I brought her up to her room and laid her down. As we got up to leave she grabbed our hands.
"Please stay." She sniffed. "I can't be alone."
"Okay Angel."
"Okay Sweetheart."
We both said at the same time and sat on either side of her. I wrapped my arms around her back and pulled her close while Alex held her hands.
"Thank you," she whispered, "for coming to find me."
"Always, sweetheart heart." Alex says.
"We will always be there for you." I add.
