The Devano Mansion felt slightly ominous this morning, albeit for a thoroughly adorable reason. It seemed Aletheia had just downloaded a "software update" directly from her father's personality.
In the dining room, a new maid accidentally placed a silver spoon at a slight angle in front of Theia's plate.
Theia stopped chewing her organic biscuit. She narrowed her slate-gray eyes, crossed her tiny arms over her chest, and fixed the maid with a stare that could freeze a waterfall.
"No! Straight!" Theia commanded, her voice lisping but heavy with emphasis.
The maid trembled. "M-my apologies, Little Miss..."
Theia slammed her small hand on the table. "Again! Fast!"
Alaric, who had been reading reports on his tablet, lowered the device. Instead of being annoyed, a wide, proud smirk split his face. "Do you see that, Anna? She has standards. She does not tolerate disorder."
Anna could only swat her own forehead. "Alaric, she's one year old! Don't let her become a tiny tyrant."
