Chapter 6 - Chapter 5: Photoshoot Studio

**(Aliya POV)**

Aliya watched from the balcony as they entered the photoshoot room, engaged in conversation. She focused on Reuben, wanting to form her own opinion of him rather than relying on what she had heard.

Reuben was incredibly handsome, with sharp features that seemed to draw everyone's attention. He was tall, and his clothes fit his physique perfectly. His short dark brown hair and tan skin complemented his striking appearance. He didn't speak much, and it was clear that everyone around him was on their best behavior now that he had arrived.

"Interesting," Aliya said to herself. "Before I get on anyone's bad side, I should head into the photoshoot studio first."

Quickly, Aliya made her way to the studio where the rest were waiting to shoot the commercial for their newest designs. Team leaders from various units—makeup, dress-up, photography, design, styling, and other essential roles—were present to ensure everything was perfect. Other models who would be joining the shoot had also arrived, being dressed and taking their shots as planned.

 A few minutes later...

"We have the presence of the CEO," one of the staff members announced as the entrance door opened.

The team greeted her politely and parted to allow her to pass.

"Alright, everyone, let's get things ready. Our VIP model is here," Amanda, the CEO, said.

Everyone hurried to their respective posts to avoid getting on anyone's bad side and risking their jobs.

"You!" Amanda pointed at me, and I glanced over my shoulder, unsure if she meant me or someone else.

"You are the team leader for the stylist," Amanda informed me.

"Yes, CEO," I responded. I noticed her looking at me closely, as if searching for something, which made me feel a bit uneasy.

"You look decent. Go get Reuben a glass of water," she directed.

"Okay," I said, scanning the studio until I spotted the refrigerator. "There it is," I said, making my way over to grab a bottle of water. As I approached, I silently observed everyone busy with their tasks, except for the CEO, who was fixated on Reuben, now surrounded by other female models.

I smirked, "So that's why I needed to look decent," I thought, grabbing a chilled bottle from the fridge.

"Let's see if I'm right," I muttered, and then, feeling bold, I placed my hand on my shirt and unbuttoned the first three buttons, revealing my bare chest.

 **(Reuben POV)**

Reuben stared at his sister, who was too focused on her phone.

"Aren't you going to act like my manager, Cece?" he asked.

"You know I'm just here for fun, and besides, you have your crush as the CEO, so I don't need to do much," Cece replied.

"Once we get to the office, I'm getting a new manager, and you're fired," he told her.

 "What?" Cece straightened up immediately.

"I have a lot of people waiting in line to be my manager, so don't think you're worth your weight in gold," he said.

"You're so cold, Reuben. I'm the only one who wouldn't let anyone harm you," Cece said, grinning.

"Amanda won't, either, because she is more dedicated to me than you are," he shot back.

"You know she's doing that to make you her husband, and you don't care," Cece remarked.

"I'm only going to marry whoever Mother chooses for me," he said, scrolling through his phone.

"That's a lie! You'll only marry someone Mother despises. You enjoy making her angry. I wish I could tell Amanda to stop trying so hard because you seem to be intent on remaining single forever," Cece said, pretending to look sad.

"Looks like a lady is coming over with a bottle of water. You might want to send her off like you always do. I wouldn't want anyone clinging to me for money that I'm supposed to give you," he smirked.

"I'm thinking about how I should embarrass her. Should I make her trip? That might be too embarrassing, right?" Cece said, getting up to do her usual work.

As she approached Aliya, Aliya handed her the bottle of water.

"You're the manager, right? This is for the VIP. He seems thirsty," Aliya said to Cece.
