This isn't real is it.
Lin Ze's vision blurred as darkness swallowed him. One moment he was walking home from school, the next… a searing pain tore through his chest. And then nothing.
A strange sensation of weightlessness, like floating in endless space. Colors swirled around him, and a voice echoed in his mind:
[System Activation: Welcome, User "Lin Ze." You have been reborn in the Dragon World. Your new body: Cosmic Wyrmling. Initial Stats: Strength 5, Speed 5, Intelligence 10. Abilities: None.]
Lin Ze opened his eyes and immediately froze.
He wasn't human. His body was small, serpentine, covered in shimmering midnight blue scales that flickered with faint starlight. Tiny wings sprouted from his back, still too weak to lift him off the ground.
W what the Lin Ze's voice came out as a small chirp, a strange vibration echoing in his tiny dragon throat.
[System Notification: Fear not. Your Dragon System will guide you. First skill unlocked: Absorb Magic.]
"Absorb… magic Huh guess I'm some kind of game character now Lin Ze muttered, his mind racing. Despite panic, curiosity surged through him.
The cavern he awoke in was enormous, carved with glowing runes. Outside, a lush forest stretched endlessly. Tentatively, Lin Ze crawled toward the opening, stretching his tiny wings. A sudden gust of wind lifted him slightly, and he flailed but somehow managed to hover for a few seconds.
"This is… amazing…" he whispered, awe struck. "I can fly.
Suddenly, a roar echoed through the trees. Lin Ze's wings twitched instinctively. From the shadows emerged a Forest Elemental, a creature made of twisted roots and sparkling emerald energy. Its glowing eyes narrowed at him.
[System Alert: Wild Creature Detected. Level: 3. Threat Assessment: Medium. Option: Combat / Evade / Befriend.]
Lin Ze's heart raced. "B-befriend, I guess he thought, raising a claw hesitantly.
The elemental lunged Lin Ze instinctively absorbed the magical energy radiating from the creature. A warm surge coursed through him, and his small wings pulsed with power. The elemental froze, confused, and then slowly bowed.
[Skill Acquired: Elemental Fusion. You may now merge absorbed energies into attacks or buffs.]
Lin Ze blinked. Did I just become friends with it by eating its magic.
The elemental nodded, then gestured toward the forest. Lin Ze understood instinctively they wanted to guide him.
Over the next few days, Lin Ze explored the forest with his new ally. He discovered a ruined temple hidden among the trees, half collapsed but radiating faint cosmic energy.

Lin Ze grinned, tiny claws scraping the moss-covered stone. "My lair huh. Sounds cool. Let's do it!"
As he explored, small magical creatures fairy like sprites, tiny fire salamanders, and even a timid earth golem approached him. One by one, they joined him, drawn by the aura of the Dragon System and his unique magic.

Lin Ze laughed, a high pitched chirp that echoed through the temple. Looks like I'm building my own little army not bad for my first week.
But peace never lasts long.
A band of human adventurers stumbled into his forest, hunting dragons for fame and loot. They spotted Lin Ze's lair and charged forward with weapons drawn.
Time to test these new powers, Lin Ze muttered, puffing out his tiny chest. He merged the elemental magic from his allies, unleashing a dazzling wave of fire and wind.
The adventurers froze in awe, barely dodging the attack. Lin Ze's system flashed:

The humans fled, screaming tales of a "miraculous dragon child through the forest. Lin Ze watched them go, wings fluttering in triumph.
