Beneath the Aurora sat two lone souls. Xian, cursed to roam the earth for a thousand years and only to be set free by the blood of his perpetuator. Alex, a forgotten soul that roams the earth without rest.
"Xian".
"Hmmm".
"Would you forget me when you're set free". It was not the first time Alex asked this question, but even Xian couldn't blame him. After being forgotten by his family since he died, Alex clinged to him like a never ending shadow.
"You that's not possible, I'll always be here".
Alex smiled and gazed at the Aurora, this Aurora was their favorite spot. It felt like looking at something beautiful in this black cold world.
"Xian, I heard the kristin's where hosting a party tonight".
"You have been going to the mortal's homes again right?"
Xian looked gave him the look a father would give their unfilial son.
"But I didn't brake any rules, I... Just, let's go please it's so boring".
"We are ghost Alex".
"Exactly". Alex smiled and gestured for him to get up".
Xain has no problem with messing with humans but the rules, ghosts were not allowed to scare the humans or inflict any harm on them expect their karma was intertwined. So going to the kristin's mansion was not the problem, it was the punishment after the fun that kind of make Xain flinch.
After being cursed and watching his body being placed in a place he could never reach, Xain learned to obey the rules the hard way. Not interfering with humans means not finding the blood line of the man that cursed him. It was painful but he learned to survive with it.
