Rachel's face darkened with anger upon listening to Mary. "I really didn't expect them to be this kind of people. If I had known earlier, I wouldn't have let them run away. I should've sent them straight to the police station."
The surrounding people nodded in agreement. Pregnant or not, right was right, and wrong was wrong. They had pitied that woman at first, but who would have thought she was someone else's mistress, using a child as a shield to cheat money?
