Eventually, her voice broke completely, dissolving into helpless sobs. Fear crawled up her spine and wrapped tightly around her heart, suffocating her from within.
Liam stood nearby, watching indifferently as Roman carried out his task with chilling calmness. Roman showed no hesitation as he chopped off the hands of the men who had dared to touch Lena. The sound of flesh meeting steel echoed through the room, followed by agonized screams that were quickly cut short. Blood splattered across the floor, staining it a deep, horrifying red.
