Fortunately, West managed to twist his body in time, resulting in the sword missing him by inches.
It cleaved straight through the highway, dividing the ground.
Angel Trigger attacked again and again but West ducked, leapt into the air and twisted multiple times to evade.
Angel Trigger's wings gave him a level of mobility West couldn't match while his void footprints was on cooldown.
Swwwhhiiiiiihhhhh~
West was forced to rely purely on his instincts, heightened senses, physical speed and experience.
For several seconds, it worked.
West managed to avoid every strike, letting Angel Trigger's sword miss his body by inches.
His shield crashed into the ground continously while his glowing gauntlets shattered concrete wherever they landed.
West glowing eyes never stopped darting from side to side as he tracked every movement. He was dancing with danger on every turn.
Angel Trigger's blade passed directly beside him as he avoided another sword strike.
