Jake the Dog:
I jolted awake, instinctively scanning around me. I was on a bed, in a room, a rather small one at that or perhaps it was the different objects and items which littered the room that gave it that impression.
"You're finally up!", a voice called out from beside me.
It was Simon, stepping out of a room behind him. "you don't know how glad I am you're awake!", he said, his voice carrying a bit of joy.
"What happened?? Where am I??", I said scratching my temple. "Where's Finn?!", I finally bellowed.
"Finn?? I didn't find Finn with you".
"How's that even possible?! I was with him yesterday when…when, what exactly happened?!".
"Jake sorry to say but you've been unconscious for three days".
"Three days?!".
"How's that possible??".
"Well it was an odd day to begin with, my TV didn't work too well and my gadgets the same so I was on my porch just gazing at the stars".
"Then one started to become particularly bright, so much so that it hurt my eyes to see. Eventually it became like a star crashing onto us and the whole sky turned bright then I got knocked out".
"When I awoke, I was in a snowy terrain almost like the artic. The blizzard peppered my skin and cold pierced my lungs. There was no one around me, just a few penguins were visible far off and destroyed debris of various buildings".
"I began walking and walking then I saw you Jake, you were just laying there unconscious shivering. I even thought you were already dead but after checking I saw you were alive so I picked you up and continued".
"By some miracle, I found this place, a small intact candy house but it had some technology built in like a good heater and even electricity not to mention a bit of food".
"Then someone else came knocking at the door but immediately i opened the door, he fell unconscious on top of me".
"Can you stand??", he asked.
I did manage to get up not without much work however, Simon gestured for me to follow him as we went into the room he came from.
Laying there was Finn on a bed covered with a white blanket?? Wait not Finn, at least not the one I know. This guy had the same hat and attire but he was a bit buffer along with a far more pointy nose.
"This is the guy??", I asked.
"Yeah, he kinda does look like Finn but even I can tell it isn't".
"Something really weird is going on", I said panic unconsciously flowing in my voice.
"Well I tried reaching people but things didn't go as planned", Simon said lightly.
"What do you mean??".
"I took apart some scrap objects to try and build something but…", he stopped in an almost scared way.
"What's wrong?? Who did you reach??".
He pulled out this small almost game box looking machine with a dark screen and said "I managed to reach someone, only a slight voice but what they told me wasn't so great".
"They told me, 'The end is here, gather your family and stay close. All will die and your multiverse will be erased'.
"What the hell?!".
"Yeah that's what I thought too, the signal cut off be for I could relay anything back but whatever's happening. We have to be ready".
FINN MERTENS:
"Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck!!", I said while going behind a large metal wreck, sliding behind it as my legs gave way to exhaustion. How the hell was I supposed to survive, I can't die in this place, it even looks like a junkyard.
This thing is unbelievably quick on its feet, if not for the amount of wrecked buildings debris to take cover from, I'm as good as dead. why the hell does it even need me when there are dead bodies everywhere.
Peaking behind the debri, I couldn't see the vulture anymore. "Please let this thing just leave", I muttered.
Then almost like the world punishing me, I heard a loud roar from my far side and there the vulture came charging in.
Fuck I can't move, my legs are too fatigued. Come on, come on! Then almost on cue, my hand started vibrating once more.
Looking down, I saw the glowing blue tint of the diamond and the veins around it and my forearm let out a bright blue glow.
Energy surged through my body as I sprung up and somersaulted out of the way of the beast, leaving it to collide with the wreck.
Landing and turning back to it as it slowly got back up, holding in its beak the head of Bianca, the same girl that almost took my virginity almost using it in a taunting manner then it threw the head in the air and caught it once swallowing it.
"Ugly bastard", I muttered.
The beast charge back at me but this time I charged right back at it. Using its beak to try and take a stab at me but I easily dodged it and went underneath its massive body before landing a blow at its lower neck.
My hand ached in pain as I landed swiftly and moved backwards as its beak crashed inches away from my body as it tries picking at me, this things body was strong and it's skin was far too thick.
Spring my prosthetic arm into action, I switched the normal arm to a fast moving fan and charged at it.
Sliding through as it tried again to pick at me with its giant beak, using the sharp swinging fan i cut into the leg of the over sized turkey but it hadn't gone deep enough to do any real harm.
Blood splattered over my arm and even on my face as it slammed its foot on the ground, the shockwave sending me flying back colliding with some debri.
Pain surged through my body from not only the impact but also the metal rod that had pierced the right side of my back and come out through my chest.
The beast slowly began walking towards me, almost revelling in the joy of its prey in pain. I pushed my body forward and let out a roar as the rod left my body, blood spilled onto the sandy floor as hell gazed at me and I gazed back.
I wasn't about to give up, not yet at least, I still had energy, I still had hope. That's when I saw it, out to my far left, not amongst any of the other debris, my black sword laid.
Now I knew luck was finally on my side, being quick on my feet, I dashed towards it. My chest bleed and ached, my legs wanted to gave way numerously and the beast still chased me but I'm not quitting.
The beasts beak finally almost caught me in it but I quickly swung right, narrowly evading it. The beast caught off my path to the sword almost like it knew my end goal but I already knew what to do.
Hoping between various debris at my far end, I managed to make up some distance but it quickly caught on and tried poking me but to no avail.
Finally i reached close enough and made my jump to the sword on the ground, the beasts opened its mouth from the side and tried catching me but by some grace, I passed in between both it's beaks before they slammed shut.
I landed on the ground and slid to my blade, quickly turning back to face it. I unsheathed my blade, dropped my stance and centre my balance. The long blade stretched past my side as my grip tensed, I locked eyes with the beast one more time before blitzing at it.
It rushed right back at me, this time jumping and trying to use its talons as a weapon but I went under it, quickly turning back just fast enough to cut the string of flesh at the back of its heels.
It let out a roar of pain but I wasn't done yet, I stabbed at its lower back and dug deeper and deeper into it. Twisting its body though left and right to get me off before I finally spring off. It turned to look at me, its legs almost giving way due to the damage, blood rushing out of all its open wounds.
Its wings spread and flapped once as it began to slowly ascend, probably realizing it's been outmatched but what gave it the right to run.
"Where do you think you're running to", I said calmly, bloodlust seaping through my voice making even the beast look down at me in terror.
I leaped into the air, stabbing wing of the beast as it let out another screatch. I then let lose at it, swinging all over it's free wing, cutting it into chunks as it fell to the ground.
I jumped off of it and landed right before it crashed, it still tired getting up however its breathing was ragged and with the amount of blood it lost, too weak to fight and now it's not going anywhere.
Finally I rushed to it, stabbing its neck and sliding down its belly with my sword then plucked it out and began slicing everywhere around the pour beast belly.
It let out one last battle cry then toppled over and landed on its back as its organs spilled out of its belly and I, covered in blood both from me and the beast, tired, confused but somewhat relieved.
I swung my sword once more, letting the blood spray off before falling taking a seat on top of some metal debri.
Fatigue quickly flooded me as I muttered, "I wonder how everyone is doing". Not long after the sweet touch of sleep reached me and it all went dark.
