"Eric, this place is lively. Our mutant friends seem to be interacting rather… amicably," Professor X said, floating above the bar in Magneto's custom metal wheelchair, one hand pressed to his temple. "Come down," he added, his tone heavy with meaning.

"Victor Sabretooth, it seems we've discovered a new mutant, Charles," Magneto said with keen interest, watching Victor Sabretooth restrained under Professor X's control. His eyes gleamed with admiration.

They had just witnessed the full extent of the battle between Sabretooth Victor and Wolverine Logan. Especially when Victor effortlessly killed Logan, Magneto could fully appreciate the raw power Victor possessed.

For such a formidable mutant, Magneto felt grateful.

"By comparison, Victor Sabretooth would make a better X-Man," Magneto said, lightly pressing his right hand as he descended into the bar where Professor X hovered. He approached Victor, placing a hand on the mutant's solid, muscular frame.

"Who… are you?" Wolverine Logan asked, still uncertain of what was happening. His bone claws flicked out again, ready for any threat.

"Calm down, friend," Professor X said with a smile, as his powerful psychic energy instantly flowed into Logan's mind.

Logan's vision filled with images: the X-Men, the Hellfire Club's conspiracies, the impending destruction of the world. Each scene played out as if he were experiencing it firsthand, giving his face a rare solemnity.

"The Hellfire Club? Destroy the world? That's none of my business," Logan muttered, serious for only a second before reverting to his cynical demeanor.

"Fuck you, Xavier." Wolverine raised his middle finger at Professor X. He hated Xavier's ability—this invasive power that could so easily enter another's mind—and it made Logan's first impression decidedly negative.

"Damn, that's the second time," Professor X muttered, embarrassed and cursing under his breath as he watched Logan's reckless behavior.

"Charles, stop lecturing and control him already," Magneto said, glancing back at Logan with a hint of impatience.

"You should join us… the X-Men," Professor X sighed, placing his hand on his temple to activate his powers.

"You're right. I should join the X-Men… do my part for this world," Logan's eyes glazed over, following Xavier's guidance without resistance.

Professor X had just altered Wolverine's thoughts, bending him completely to agree to join the X-Men. Unless someone with psychic power stronger than Xavier intervened, Logan's enlistment was now inevitable.

However, Xavier didn't link Logan to the X-Men's tanks, instead setting a condition: after eliminating the Hellfire Club's Black Emperor Shaw, Logan must return to his normal self.

Once Logan was handled, Xavier's focus shifted to Victor Sabretooth. A tidal wave of psychic energy surged into Victor's mind.

Unlike the gentle approach used with Logan, Xavier's treatment of Victor was rougher. His pupils went slightly vacant as Victor rolled his eyes in mild irritation.

It was clear—Xavier was now attempting to control Victor's movements. Through telepathy, he could sense the explosive potential coiled within Victor's body.

"This is… a beast in human skin," Xavier muttered, admiration lacing his voice as he looked at Victor.

He had planned this: to recruit Victor Sabretooth into the X-Men.

A surge of psychic energy again flooded Victor's mind, attempting to forcibly reshape his thoughts.

"Join the X-Men…?" Xavier's face suddenly changed.

He was shocked to find himself being pulled directly into Victor's memories by an unknown force.

He was inside a room that looked like a laboratory.

Victor lay restrained on an experimental table, wild as a beast. Before him stood a familiar figure, radiating pride.

"What… is this? Why am I here?" Xavier's face was full of shock and confusion. His eyes locked on the young Asian boy he had believed had no mutant powers—Lancelot.

Xavier tried to control Victor's body, struggling, but Victor was bound, and Xavier couldn't break free.

Then, Xavier saw Lancelot's eyes.

"Serve me as your king. Serve me as your master!"

Suddenly, a huge crimson bird sprang from Lancelot's eyes, flapping its wings and entering Xavier's psychic world.

Chirp.

Even with all his psychic might, Xavier felt like a small boat tossed on the open sea, his mind unsteady before the bird.

"No… no… no!" The bird's flapping and song, visible only to Xavier, engulfed his consciousness.

In the psychic realm, Xavier was still tied to the table, the entire lab now filled with the enormous crimson bird.

Before this creature, he felt utterly insignificant.

"Ugh!" Xavier screamed in pain and madness. Under the bird's assault, his psychic power was crumbling as if it couldn't withstand a single blow.

Bang. Bang. Bang.

In his agonized resistance, Xavier's psychic force formed a barrier, and the lab transformed into the Xavier estate.

"Charles… Charles." Magneto, witnessing the scene, saw Xavier clutching his temple, face twisted in unbearable pain.

Magneto, knowing his old friend Victor Sabretooth well, glanced at Victor and raised his right hand. The metal bars around him formed a massive cage, enclosing Victor.

"Hm… hm… hm…" Once Victor closed his eyes, Xavier's psychic energy finally returned to his body.

"Fuck!" The excruciating pain that tore through Xavier's mind twisted his face as he swore.

Although he had escaped the terrifying bird, his psyche had suffered trauma. His head throbbed violently, nearly overwhelming his thoughts.

"Get… out of here," Xavier weakly warned, holding his head.

"Huh? Charles… what are you saying?" His voice was too weak; Magneto barely heard him.

"Get out!" Charles suddenly cried, his voice trembling with terror as he looked at Victor Sabretooth trapped within the cage.
