Infirmary third person POV
After my duel Rias was more bruised and tired than I was due to the nature of our power and physical condition. No one in the room except us, none of us talked for a while.
"You don't feel shy at all. You are a boy are you not? Or you are?" She broke the silence first, probably talking about how a boy with just short bandages can be relaxed sitting next to a half naked girl as gender roles reverse completely in the supernatural world.
They are more fucked up than normal world. "Nah, I'm used to it. Just don't make it wield." I responded nonchalantly.
But I could tell she was more curious than judgmental.
"You held back, didn't you?" After a few seconds she readied the question full of tension.
"So did you." I didn't admit it right and turn the table on her as it would be hypocritical if you point a finger at someone for something which you just did.
She looked at my face surprised, perhaps not expecting that I could read her. "How did you know?"
'Should I take that as an insult? Or naivite?' I thought for a second before answering her back.
"Well lets say I saw you in rating game and the way you analy fucked that devil without lube… big fan." I spoke without holding back. Still thinking should I be as installing as she is or just ignore her previous statement and choose the latter.
She broke into laughter. "Haahhaha. You are a hell of a hilarious man." She complemented and rested back to her bed properly.
"I get that compliment sometimes." I responded and looked at her face and body for a second. "Can I be bold with you with a personal question?"
She inquired. I thought and nodded, if I didn't want to, I wouldn't be answered back. "You like ass or tits?" She made a strong eye contact and was determined about the question.
"I…..it's complex. If possible, personality…..Both." I answered back clearly and mumbled at last which I assume she heard as well. "You are an interesting person for a human."

Third person
The time went on and we were released from rest at lunch time. Time goes by and the academy time ends. Throughout the time, I didn't talk with anyone except for Raizal for a few minutes.
I exchanged my number with Rias and Raizel on the way home. I could tell I was being followed by many people. And I let them as they didn't have any hostility for me yet I was cautious you never know.
Reaching home I got some snacks and veggies for dinner. My phone vibrates at night and I check it.

============
Soon I reached home. It was a mess. I cooked what I bought, changed clothes and bathed, then ate and slept till morning. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Next day
"Did I make you wait?"
Sayo looked up from her phone, her expression shifting from mild impatience to a slight smile as she saw me approaching. "Not too long. I was beginning to think you'd gotten lost on your way here."
"Nah, just had to deal with training and exploring my horizon as much and far as I can," I replied, falling into step beside her as we entered the mall. The air conditioning was a welcome relief from the summer heat.
Sayo laughed, the sound light and genuine. "Why are you chasing power so much? If you are comfortable elaborating it might help you."
"Chasing? More like a reaching peak. I want to be independent. Let's just say I have an itch."
We walked in comfortable silence for a few moments, observing the mall's weekend crowd. The place was bustling with families and couples, creating a backdrop of white noise that offered some privacy.
"So," Sayo began, breaking the silence, "how's your head after Satoru's'special attack'?"
I rubbed the back of my neck awkwardly. "Let's just say I've had better mornings. That asshole has a mean right hook and apparently no concept of friendly sparring."
Sayo's eyes darkened slightly. "I'm still going to kill him for that. Nobody gets to mess with you like that."
The possessiveness in her tone was unmistakable, and I couldn't help but feel a warmth spread through my chest. "I can handle myself, but I appreciate the sentiment."
Our first stop was a clothing store where Sayo immediately began browsing through racks with focused intensity. I followed at a distance, observing how her eyes lit up when she found something she liked.
"Come here," she called out, holding up a dark blue button-up shirt. "What do you think?"
I approached and examined it. "Looks good. The color would bring out your eyes."
Sayo's cheeks flushed slightly as she took the shirt to the fitting room. "Wait here," she instructed.
While she changed, I found myself browsing the men's section, my mind drifting back to the infirmary and Rias's unexpected question. The memory of her half-naked form on the bed, coupled with her bold inquiry about preferences, still felt surreal.
Sayo emerged in the blue shirt, which fit her perfectly, accentuating her figure in all the right ways. "Well?" she asked, doing a small twirl.
"It's good," I managed, my voice a bit rougher than intended. "Really good."
She noticed my reaction and a smirk played on her lips. "Just good? Hmm, maybe I should try something else then."
