Chapter 44 - Speech

Sibylla, having completed all this, still did not stop her actions.

In terms of mission completion, this was still not enough.

So, Sibylla quickly used Psychic Control again to grab two more Greenskin sentries into this deserted corner.

She repeated the process, forcing them to eat the Ant-Ox Canned Food.

After waiting a few minutes, Sibylla saw that the three Greenskin Boyz' ugly faces showed clear discomfort, their crude muscles twisting, and their abdomens swelling significantly.

The Inquisitor nodded in satisfaction, manipulating them to walk towards the Artillery Position.

"What are you doing? Go on, go play somewhere else."

Seeing the Greenskin Boyz who should have been standing guard outside leaving their posts and walking over here for some unknown reason, the Mek Boyz immediately stopped their work and shouted loudly in reprimand.

"Don't think just because you beg me, I'll help you build a big shoota... Wait, what's going on?"

A sharp-eyed Mek Boy realized something was wrong and cried out.

Unfortunately, it was already too late.

The three Greenskin Boyz suddenly stopped in unison, blood splattering, bodily fluids erupting like a fountain, even splashing onto the faces of several Mek Boyz standing nearby.

Bang.

The dull thud of heavy bodies falling rang out.

The Mek Boyz stared blankly as three bizarre monsters burst out of the Greenskin Boyz' abdomens and dropped onto the ground.

They were large creatures, hunched over like apes, with entirely blue skin. Long claws dragged on the ground, supporting their massive bodies. Their beast-like faces were largely dominated by a pair of hinged mandibles, and wicked compound eyes surveyed their surroundings.

What the heck are these things?

Following their Orkish combat instincts, the Mek Boyz unhesitatingly grabbed the big shootas in their hands, the muzzles spitting bullets continuously, rattling against the monsters.

Naturally, this was completely useless.

This outrageous creature, named the Ant-Ox, possessed defense and vitality strong enough to withstand Plasma fire; mere bullets only provided a bit of a massage.

Instead, this act of aggression enraged the newly born Ant-Oxes.

Amidst an incredibly sharp shriek, the three Ant-Oxes charged into the Mek Boyz like an unstoppable force, swinging their sharp claws repeatedly. Blood splashed, severed limbs flew, and screams of agony rose one after another!

"Don't panic! Watch me! Taste this!"

An Ork suddenly grabbed a massive melta bomb and aggressively charged towards the Ant-Oxes that were slaughtering wildly.

But before it could get halfway, the Ork's eyes widened, its body stiffened, and it suddenly armed the melta bomb in its hand. Then, under the disbelieving gazes of the other Mek Boyz, it hurled the melta bomb into the pile of artillery shells nearby.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Violent explosions rang out one after another, turning Heavy Artillery pieces into scrap metal, and chaos erupted on the scene.

Meanwhile, Sibylla, hidden in the shadows nearby, pulled down her hood. Without attracting any attention, she drifted away.

The mission was not yet complete; she could not rest.

There were still many Artillery Positions set up inside the Hive City, and the Inquisitor needed to destroy them as much as possible.

This was just the beginning..."Soldiers of the Armageddon Steel Legion, listen to me! The final war is drawing near!"

Outside the Hive City,

Yarrick, dressed in a standard Astra Militarum Political Commissar uniform, stood tall like a pine tree on the raised speaking platform made of earth and stone. The amplification array carried his voice far and wide.

Below the platform, soldiers of the Armageddon Steel Legion, having completely finished rearming, formed a neat square formation, their appearance solemn and filled with a killing aura.

After fully receiving and processing the support equipment from Adam, the morale of this Astra Militarum unit had basically reached its peak.

Look at the Astartes lined up with them, look at these Super-heavy Tanks that were originally rare to see, and look at the Precious Equipment issued to every single person... Even veterans like Burke, who were somewhat pessimistic, were completely reinvigorated, acknowledging an obvious fact.

In this campaign, the only thing they needed to worry about was their own lives, and absolutely not the outcome of the war.

Because The Imperium was bound to achieve victory.

"I know that continuous fighting has left you exhausted. But these repeated wars have forged our bodies and minds like a heavy hammer, tempering every one of us. And what makes me proud is that, previously, in our clashes with the Orks, we have won victory after victory!"

"But now is not the time to rest!"

Yarrick spoke passionately, raising his hand high and pointing towards the Hive City visible far away on the horizon.

"Behold! That is the Orks' lair! Those damned Xenos have used cunning methods to steal sacred property belonging to humanity and claim it for themselves."

"And the people who originally lived there—our compatriots who share our blood and are fellow subjects of the God-Emperor—are suffering their brutal torture and slaughter! Without a doubt, no human can stand by and ignore this!"

"We are the Astra Militarum, the Holy Hammer of The Emperor! We shall deliver humanity's retribution upon those damned Xenos!"

"Now, everyone has seen that reinforcements have arrived! We will stand united and fight alongside The Emperor's Angels of Death! Our strength has reached an unprecedented peak!"

"And those Orks, who were routed before us previously, shall once again taste the bitter fruit of defeat!"

"My command is: Attack! Attack at all costs, by any means necessary! Until every Greenskin on this planet is driven out!"

"For The Emperor!"

Yarrick roared loudly, his passionate momentum infecting everyone.

"For The Emperor!"

All the soldiers of the Armageddon Steel Legion shouted loudly, the sound waves rolling across the entire plain.

Subsequently, under Yarrick's command and organization.

Filled with overwhelming fury and hatred for the Xenos, the soldiers boarded their armored vehicles. With an unstoppable momentum, steel treads kicked up clouds of dust across the plain as they drove towards their target.

At this very moment, the Orks inside the Hive City were busy dealing with the chaotic positions and hunting down the rampaging Ant-Oxes, completely unaware of what they were about to face.
