As the door opened, James came in looking wounded like a wounded lion
" James , what happened to you , I have been calling your line since yesterday night but nothing" beauty said to him which was true because immediately Lucien went to take his bath ,she called James but nothing, chatted him up and even texted him but nothing, she was genuinely worried about him
"Am fine, I will heal okay , what happened to me was that thieves attacked me , stole my phone and wallets , did anyone stayed here " he said suspiciously at the last statement
" What ,thieves and we are still staying here , we have to report to the police authorities and no one stayed here " she said to him
" Don't worry, they would have gone besides I didn't see their faces , are you sure no one stayed overnight because my shirt is here " he said to her back
" Hmm okay, I will bring warm water to clean your wounds but before that you have to bath and also no one stayed besides I took your shirt to wear , because I was missing you , you weren't around" she said firing back to him
" Am sorry baby , I will take my bath okay" he said to her before kissing her , she didn't like it infact it felt so wrong , the kiss was totally different from the one ,she and Lucien shared that night, she immediately pulled away, staring at him
" Remember, go and brush , take your bath " she said to him ,he looked at her and laughed as he was about going straight to her bathroom, she panicked
" You can't go in " she said to him stopping him in his tracks
" Why " he said
" The bathroom is dirty and I vomited yesterday night also ,I haven't cleaned the place yet " she lied to him
" You vomited , why , did you drink "he said questioning her
" I didn't drink , while waiting for you,I was crying and it resulted to me vomiting " she said rolling her eyes
" Am sorry, really sorry, please don't cry again " he said to her pleadingly
" Ok , I will go to my bathroom " he said understanding her reason,he then left
She made sure he left totally before going inside the bathroom intending to clean her vomit but to see Lucien inside there
" You have to go immediately Lucien, I will see you at work" she said to him whispering
" I know but I can't leave you here " Lucien said to her
" What , why , am safe here " she fired back to him
" It doesn't feel right with James at all" He said back to her
" Am safe with him and you know one thing, what happened between us ,was nothing to me , I love James " she said with finality
" What ,baby I love you , why are you trying to ruin me like this, I will come back and take what belongs to me " He said to her really heartbroken and angry and left the house with his clothes
After cleaning James wounds , she gave him food to eat and she left for work , just then her name was been called by Jessica Smith in the office
She looked very angry but why could she be angry
