"Project Phoenix: Day 402,842," the image said. Her voice was distorted, a digital ghost. "The biological experiment has reached the 'Industrial Fever' stage. Toxicity levels are critical. Reset protocol is now unavoidable."


"See?" Silas turned to Kaelen, his face twisted with triumph. "The system is already deciding to kill us. I'm not the villain I'm the only one trying to hack the timer!"
