Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 — The Punch That Hit the Wrong Era

The sun hung over Wano like a golden sentinel, scattering light across the rolling waves in a million dazzling shards. The streets of Onigashima were quiet now, the echo of laughter, music, and clinking sake cups fading into memory. The Straw Hats had survived one of the wildest parties in the world—Sanji had danced on tables until his hair was singed, Usopp had eaten more sweets than any human should, and Nami had been dragged into a chaotic fireworks display by Robin and Franky. Luffy, of course, had declared at least a dozen times that the best way to celebrate victory over Kaido was to "have fun until reality broke," and everyone had reluctantly agreed.

Now, as the sunlight reflected across the ocean, Post-Wano Luffy bounced on the balls of his feet, grin stretching impossibly wide, eyes alight with manic energy. The taste of victory was sweet, but the thrill of what was to come was far sweeter. "We did it! We really did it!" he shouted. "But… now it's time to see how far I can go!"

Usopp, perched shakily on Franky's broad shoulder, nervously adjusted his goggles. "L-Luffy… are you sure about this?" he stammered. "Time-space-bending punch? Reality-warping Gear 5? I don't know if I can survive… or my life insurance is gonna… or—"

"Nonsense!" Luffy shouted, bouncing like a spring. "The world's never normal! And I just mastered Gear 5. It's time to see how far I can stretch reality!"

Franky flexed dramatically, fists raised. "I'm with you! SUPER FUTURE FRANKY! Let's turn the world into our playground!"

Sanji flicked his cigarette into the breeze, eyebrows raised. "The man is insane. But… I'll cook him breakfast mid-battle if needed."

Jinbe sighed, water from a half-refilled sake cup splashing over his hand. "This is madness… but we're a crew. So I follow, as always."

Nami smirked, eyes glinting. "If he's going to do something ridiculous, at least we can profit… or loot a little while we're at it."

Zoro, leaning against a nearby boulder with arms crossed, grunted. "This better not ruin my swords… or my pride."

Robin, serene as ever, adjusted her hair and looked at Luffy with polite curiosity. "I suppose I'll have to intervene if anyone gets in our way… delicately."

Luffy cracked his knuckles, stretching his arms in Gear 5. The sunlight danced off his rubberized skin. The air around him shimmered unnaturally. Birds froze mid-flight, their wings stiffened as if frozen in time. Nami's umbrella twitched and bounced upward, defying logic.

"I'm gonna be King of the Pirates!" Luffy shouted, voice echoing across the empty coastline.

Zoro's eyes narrowed. "Did… he just break space?"

"Maybe," Luffy replied cheerfully. "Or time. Or both!"

Usopp's jaw literally hit the ground. "TIME-SPACE… BOUNCE WARP! I warned you… I warned you!"

With a decisive leap, Luffy's fist shot forward. Reality rippled. The ocean itself quivered. Cannon fire from Marineford's past, as though pulled from another time, shot toward the distortion—but the cannonballs ricocheted violently, defying gravity, striking nothing, and spinning back toward their origins.

Nami's mouth fell open. "Did… that just… miss?"

Franky grinned. "No! It bounced! It's… SUPER WARP!"

Before anyone could react, the ripple expanded, and the Straw Hats were violently sucked through an elastic tunnel of space and time. They twisted and bounced, screaming together as the world around them stretched like rubber.

"AAAAHHHHH!" Zoro, Usopp, and Sanji all cried out in unison, though none of them could tell who was screaming louder—fear or exhilaration.

When they landed, they found themselves in the heart of Marineford, mid-chaos. Cannonballs hung frozen in midair. Marines froze, mouths agape. A young recruit, musket in hand, stumbled, eyes wide. "D-did… the air just…?"

Zoro slammed upside-down on a cannon, rolled once, and landed neatly on his feet. "Oof… okay… that hurts. Or… does it?"

Usopp skidded across the deck like a curling stone. "I'M… I'M DEAD!"

Luffy bounced across the deck like a living trampoline. "We're early!"

Past Luffy froze mid-charge, eyes wide. "Y-YOU…?!"

"HI!" Future Luffy waved. "I'll become the Pirate King… and I'll eat all the meat I want while I do it!"

Sanji kicked off midair cannon fire. "Apologies! Excuse me! My bad!"

Zoro muttered, "Cooking's irrelevant."

Sengoku, atop his command tower, gripped the railing, white-haired and tense. "This… this is impossible. The island… it's laughing. The chaos… the destruction… I cannot allow this," he muttered. "I will uphold justice… even if reality itself protests!"

Garp leaned against another tower, exhaling slowly. "I've seen nonsense before… but this? Pretend this never happened. And don't come crying to me when the world snaps in half."

Kizaru, moving at light speed to assess the threat, blinked repeatedly. "Time… elasticity… gravity… I… I cannot… compute…" His legs turned to jelly, and he stumbled over nothing.

Marines screamed. Some fainted outright. Others tripped over suspended cannonballs. Civilians dove for cover. Fish leapt from the ocean in desperation. Birds hung frozen midair, wings stretched as though reality itself had forgotten the rules.

The Straw Hats moved like a chaotic, unstoppable wave. Zoro sliced cannonballs midair. Sanji sent Marines flying with air kicks. Nami smirked, plotting treasure looting. Usopp shouted warnings and fired wildly, each Marine panicking at every word. Franky transformed walls into cannons, motorcycles, and hammer constructs. Robin sprouted hands from buildings, politely immobilizing entire squads. Jinbe weaponized seawater into a massive slip-slide, sending Marines crashing into one another.

Luffy bounced off Marineford itself, sending shockwaves through the island. Buildings swayed. Gravity seemed optional. "I have a crew… a crew that I'll protect no matter what!" he yelled, bouncing over the chaos.

Sengoku groaned, clutching the railing. "This… this is beyond anything I can do…"

Garp shook his head. "Pretend this never happened."

Cannon fire became useless. Execution platforms wobbled. Gear 5 laughter echoed across Marineford, high-pitched and unrelenting: "HOHOHOHOHESSSSS!"

A recruit cried, "S-someone… stop… him!"

Even Whitebeard paused mid-fight, scratching his chin. "Why… is the island… giggling?"

Luffy bounced twice, waved, and shouted, "HELLO! TIME-TRAVELING FRIENDS ARE FUN!"

He wound up a punch that seemed to take forever. Past Luffy stared, slack-jawed.

"Yes! Gear 5 takes its time!" Luffy shouted. With a giant bouncing BOING, the punch hit. Cannonballs ricocheted. Marines stumbled. Some fainted outright. Luffy's punches warped reality instead of destroying it.

Past Luffy stood frozen. "This… this is insane!"

Future Luffy waved. "Welcome to Gear 5, buddy!"

The battlefield shivered. Marines lost all organization. Gravity, common sense, and physics seemed optional. Sengoku whispered, "There… is… nothing I can do…"

Garp shook his head. "Pretend this never happened."

Luffy bounced one final time, laughing like a child in a candy store. "HEHEHEHEHEHE… THIS IS FUN!"

By the end, Marineford was unrecognizable. Cannon crews tangled. Buildings swayed. The Straw Hats were scattered, bouncing and laughing like rubber dolls. Reality itself felt like a toy in Luffy's hands. The world had changed. Marineford would never be the same again.

And somewhere amidst the chaos, the echoes of Wano's celebrations seemed to follow them, a reminder that the Straw Hats' party had never really ended—they had simply brought it to the greatest stage in the world.
