Chapter 29 - Sakurazawa Tomomi’s Gift

"Kazuma…"

The gentle blonde woman softly murmured his name. Although only two months had passed since the school year began, Shirakawa Miwa naturally remembered her students well. The diligent Chizuru Shiina, the outstanding Tosaka Fuyuka, and the troublesome Izumi Nogami had all left strong impressions on her.

As for Kazuma, however, she struggled to recall anything particularly memorable. She used the word struggled because, upon careful thought, a few vague images did surface.

For instance, him sleeping in the corner during class—and sleeping in the classroom after school, despite not belonging to any club. Why was he always asleep?

Ah, right. I haven't been sleeping well these past few days because he's been skipping classes so often. Shirakawa Miwa sighed helplessly. Although she was gentler than most teachers, such a low attendance rate was still unacceptable.

"Miwa, what are you thinking about so deeply?"

"He's not very noticeable in class," Shirakawa Miwa admitted. "If you hadn't mentioned him, Mira, I might not have paid him much attention at all. Is there really something special about Kazuma?"

"Not noticeable? That's exactly why," Mira Tsubakihara replied with a smile. "If he stood out too much, how could I have searched for so long without finding him?" Her deep blue eyes shimmered with an indescribable emotion.

"Sister Mira… what did you just say?"

"It's nothing." Mira reached out and pinched Shirakawa Miwa's cheek. "You're his teacher, yet you're asking me? You're completely unqualified~."

"Mira! Don't treat me like a child—I'm not the same as before!" The blonde woman quickly dodged her hand and stepped back, her expression apologetic. "But you're right. As a teacher, I should care for every student equally. Ignoring him was my mistake."

Shirakawa Miwa nodded seriously. "I'll pay more attention to him from now on."

"…"

Looks like I shot myself in the foot. Has Miwa really grown this much already? Mira Tsubakihara was about to tease her again when her eyes suddenly lit up and a mysterious smile appeared.

"Miwa, why don't you give me a tour of the school?"

"Sure. It's lunchtime anyway—let's go to the cafeteria."

"The cafeteria is boring," Mira replied lazily. "How about the rooftop?"

"The rooftop? What would we do there? Besides, students aren't allowed up there."

"That's exactly why it's perfect," Mira grinned. "We're not students, Miwa. Use your teacher privileges!"

"…"

At the same time, on the rooftop, Kazuma had already been waiting for quite a while. When he finally heard the door open, he turned around.

The cherry-blossom-colored beauty who hurried upstairs stuck out her tongue playfully. "You've been waiting impatiently, haven't you? Hehe."

"Sakurazawa… meeting me alone like this—it's not going to be another…" Kazuma's suspicious gaze drifted toward her still exaggeratedly prominent chest. It's only been one day—don't tell me she's uncomfortable again and wants my help?

That's way too frequent, isn't it?

"No, no!" She shook her head vigorously. "You misunderstood. You helped me yesterday, Kazuma, so I prepared a gift to thank you."

That was her real purpose.

"Didn't you already thank me yesterday?"

"Ugh, that one doesn't count."

Only then did Kazuma notice that Sakurazawa Tomomi's hands were hidden behind her back, as if she were holding something. So that was the gift she'd mentioned?

"Hehe, you're curious now, aren't you? Ta-da!" She finally stopped teasing and revealed what she had prepared.

It was a glass bottle, gently cradled in Sakurazawa Tomomi's hands. Inside, a pale white liquid swayed softly.

Wait a minute... is that milk?

"Kazuma-kun, you don't usually eat lunch, do you? I've noticed you often just drink water by the pool. These past two days, Akane Nanao has been bringing you lunchboxes, so I thought I'd bring you something to eat too."

Kazuma's expression instantly went blank.

"Sakurazawa Tomomi, you're a really good person," he said calmly, "but I have a question. Is this milk… or is it yours?"

"It's my milk," the girl replied, blushing. "But don't worry, it's not from yesterday. I expressed it this morning, so it's very fresh. I don't know how nutritious it is, but you seemed to really like it yesterday. You drank quite a lot, didn't you?"

"It's uncomfortable for me to be so full, and you haven't had lunch," she continued. "So I thought I'd help fill your stomach…"

Kazuma: "..."

"No way—you actually went through all that just to give this to me?" he scoffed. "Who would even drink something like this?!"

"Huh? But yesterday, didn't you only drink it when you sucked on it?" Sakurazawa Tomomi covered her face with one hand and laughed teasingly. "Kazuma-kun, do you really want to taste my nipples that badly? You're such a picky little brat~."

Kazuma: [???]

"But not today," Sakurazawa Tomomi whispered as she stood on tiptoe beside his ear. "Akane Nanao will be here soon, and I don't want to bother you. Let's save it for next time. When we're alone and no one disturbs us, I'll let you have as much as you want. You can drink it however you like~."

"Anyway, my price is going to rise again soon~."

After saying that, she mischievously bit his ear, licked it a few times, then stuffed the bottle into Kazuma's arms. Waving cheerfully, she added, "Make sure you drink it all."

"..."

Kazuma watched her leave, then lowered his gaze to the bottle in his hands. He stared at the pure white liquid inside, his expression conflicted.

He lifted it toward the sunlight, opened the lid, and took a sniff. The milky scent was mixed with a faint, uniquely feminine fragrance—it was strangely intoxicating.

Drinking something like this himself just felt too weird. But it could save him some money, and the taste wasn't actually bad.

Sakurazawa Tomomi held her burning cheeks. Thinking about how fond Kazuma-kun seemed to be of her breast milk, she couldn't help but giggle to herself. As she went downstairs, she suddenly noticed Kanna Hiiragi approaching and froze.

Kanna Hiiragi was also briefly startled, but since they weren't very familiar, she greeted her politely.

"Hello, Sakurazawa-san."

"Ah, hello, Hiiragi-san."

They exchanged polite smiles and passed by one another.

Sakurazawa Tomomi pouted slightly. "Not Akane, but Kanna Hiiragi?"

Yesterday, the provocation had been stopped by Akane Nanao. She knew Akane and Kazuma shared a special relationship, but she hadn't expected Kanna Hiiragi to be involved as well. What's going on? Kazuma-kun is surprisingly popular. He doesn't seem like this at all usually.

Kanna Hiiragi paused at the rooftop entrance and glanced back, watching Sakurazawa Tomomi disappear down the stairs. She frowned slightly.

"Was she meeting Kazuma just now?"
