Before I, the author, starts telling you about this story I have crafted; I feel it necessary to ensure that my worlds background, magic system, and progression is properly outlined for both your reference and mine.
Side note: this story will probably contain R18 content and will contain lesbian/gay relationships along with straight ones of course, and things such as gore and other content will be warned in chapter title to give readers a warning using. R for sex, G for gore, and A for abuse. (Ill try not to use any of these often though)
This world has 3 primary progression paths, each of which must be walked at once, and balanced, to progress.
Levels, which act as the 'muscle', a measurement of raw power and accumulated as one takes the lives of others. A/N: When talking about a characters strength, this will be used, other two are secondary yet still necessary for progression.
Mastery, which acts as the 'nerves', a measurement of how effectively one can channel the 'muscle' into their body and/or elemental affinity.
Finally, theres Insight, the 'soul', the more one understands about themselves, the more nourished and robust the 'soul' becomes, allowing for a higher Level and Mastery to be obtained

Tier 2- Interaction
Tier 3- Resonance
Tier 4- Integration
Tier 5- Conceptualization

Unexamined Self (lv 10, interaction)
Reflective Self (lv 25, Resonance)
Integrated Self (lv 100, integration)
Authored Self (lv 300, conceptualization)
Weapon rankings, along with higher levels of insight/mastery are planned, but will be revealed as they become relevant in the story, I dont wish to overwhelm anyone with all of this after all and keep this story as an enjoyable experience to everyone reading!!!
