2 days later
Astrid has packed her bags ready for her trip back through the Viking barrier where she would be reunited with her mother again after being away for 10 years.
"Astrid when will we come and stay with you?" Chloe asked
"When the dragon war has ended, that's when I'll give Johann a letter so it can be sent to you guys so you can come and visit but you will have to ask your parents if you can move out from their house and live me with me." Astrid said
"If our parents agree that is." Alya said
"So how are you going to get back to the Vikings?" Nathaniel asked
"I have been keeping track of Johann's trading routes and tomorrow is when he will be arriving to Denmark, so I better hit the road before Johann arrives to Denmark." Astrid said as she picks up her bags then she walks over to the elevator where she dropped her bags then she ran over to her friends where she gave them a big hug as she cried while hugging
"I'm going to miss you guys so much until you arrive." Astrid said as she wipes the tears out of her eyes."
"This won't be a goodbye, let's call as see you later." Alya said as she also wipes the tears out of her eyes as Astrid nodded with a smile then she broke apart the hug as she walks over to her bags where she picks them up then she enters the elevator where she waved goodbye at her friends as the door closes then the elevator took her down to the garage where her driver was waiting for her with the door opened so she entered and the driver closed the door then he entered the driver door where she drove the car out of the garage and out of Paris towards Denmark
13 hours and 10 minutes later they arrived at Denmark where the driver opened the door for Astrid to get out which she did then she picked up her bags as she walks over to the docks then a worker came over to talk to her
"Excuse me young lady, what are you doing around here" Dock worker asked
"I'm here for Trader Johann so he can take me back home." Astrid said
"What is your name?" Dock worker sighed
"Astrid "Fearless" Hofferson." Astrid said
"Uh, where you that young girl who was the first Viking to come out of the barrier without dying since you didn't have anything magical?' Dock worker asked
"Yes, 10 years ago was the day I was swept off the boat doing that horrible freak wave as I drifted away from my parents then I was swept to near the barrier then I got knocked out as I was drifted along the ocean currents until I arrived at a beach in France." Astrid said
"Johann will be arriving tomorrow so if you book a room in the motel, you can stay the night then when Johann arrives you can book out of the motel." Dock Worker said
"Thanks, I'll do that." Astrid said as she walks to motel, which was called Oceanside Motel, so she walks inside where she went to the counter
"Hello anyone here I would like to check in for the night?" Astrid asked as she ding the bell then an elderly women entered
Hello and welcome to Oceanside Motel, how may I help you?" Elderly woman asked
"Hello, I would like to book a room for the night." Astrid said as she got out her credit card
"That would be 75 euros for one night." Elderly woman said as Astrid paid for it then the elderly woman gave her the keys to the door to her room where Astrid picks up her bags then she walks up the stairs where she made it to the third floor, and she walks down to the corridor where she reached room 45 then she entered the room where she put her bags on to the chair then she sat on the bed as she saw it was getting dark outside so she got charged then she hopped into bed where she fell asleep
The next day Astrid woke up as she did her morning routine then she put on her fresh clothes as she put her dirty clothes in a plastic bag then she put them away in her bag as she closed the bag up then she picked up her bag as she exited out of the room where she walked downstairs to return the key which she did.
"Thank you, young lady, I hope I see you again in the future." Elderly woman said as she put the key back up with the other keys as Astrid exited out of the motel then she walked over to the docks where she waited for Johann to arrive
2 hours and 30 minutes later Johann arrived at the docks so Astrid walks over to him
"Johann it's been 10 years since I last saw you." Astrid said as she walks over to where Johann is
"Um, do I know" Johann asked
"The last time you saw me was when I was 5 back when the Phoenix tribe was still around." Astrid said as she saw Johann eyes widen
"Is that you Astrid Hofferson." Johann said as Astrid nodded
"10 years have made you grown into a very beautiful woman but what happened to the scar that was running across your face?" Johann asked
"Oh, I covered it up with make-up, so people don't ask about it." Astrid said
"Alright I'll be leaving in the next 30 minutes so hop on board so I can take you to your mother and sister in berk." Johann said as Astrid picks up her bag then she hops onto the boat
30 minutes later Johann finished stocking his ship up then he set sail towards the barrier that is home to the Vikings so after sailing for an hour as Johann arrived to the Norwegian Solders that are guarding the barrier so nothing can get through so they stopped Johann to see what he was going to smuggle though then they saw Astrid Hofferson who was on deck
"What are doing on this ship?" Norwegian Captain asked as he pointed a taser at Astrid who had her hands up
"I'm returning home after being out in the modern world for 10 years." Astrid said
"What was the thing you remember when you were still a Viking?" Norwegian Captain asked
"I remember my tribe being slaughtered by the Outcast Tribe then my dad telling my mom and I to run to the boat that was at the back of the island which we did then my father coming with blood coming out of his head as he pushed us out to sea where we sailed to Berk then a storm came out of nowhere as it rocked the ship then a wave knocked me over the ship then I saw I was drifting away from my parent's where I heard them calling out my name then I got knocked out as I woke up in the hospital after being knocked out for 3 days." Astrid said as she recalled her last memory
"What is your full name?" Captain asked
"Astrid "Fearless" Hofferson." Astrid said
"Alright you are cleared to go through, and welcome home Astrid you family have been missing you for a long time." Captain said as he walks off the ship with the rest of the solders as they clear Johann to cross but before the ship could cross Astrid gave the captain a note
"Couple of my friends will be coming to stay with me so I give them clearance to come through in the future! Astrid shouted as she went through the barrier, but she did hear the captain shout out a roger before she went through
When she went through the barrier, she saw the beautiful islands that she missed for 10 years.
"Johann how long will we reach Berk?" Astrid asked
"It will take us three days to get there." Johann said
"So, what do I say when I arrive to Berk?" Johann asked
"Can you say that you got good news for Helga Hofferson and the chief of Berk." Astrid said as she went below deck to see if there are any Viking clothes for her to wear
Alright do that." Johann said as he continued staring his ship
3 days later Johann arrived to Berk where they alerted of his arrival
"Johann what can we help you we weren't expecting you until next week?" Gobber asked
"I know but I got good news for Helga Hofferson and the Chief of Berk." Johann said
"I hope it's the return of Helga's daughter." Gobber said as he ran to the Great Hall where he entered by slamming the doors open
"Gobber what is happening, was that Johann who arrived?" Stoick asked
"Yea and he's got good news for Helga Hofferson." Gobber puffed out as he moved out of the way as everyone ran out of the Great Hall to the docks where Helga was at the front with Stoick
"Johann what is this good news you speak of?" Helga asked as she saw Johann lift the watch up as a blond girl come out with the same scar as Astrid when she was 5
"Hello Mother, I have arrived home after 10 years of being out in the modern world." Astrid said as Helga walked to her slowly before giving her a big hug
"My Astrid has arrived home safely." Helga said
"Everyone let's head to the Great Hall and party for the safety of Astrid's return! Stoick shouted as everyone carried Astrid to the hall where they partied through the night and the next day
"Mother where will I be sleeping from now on?" Astrid asked
"The basement will be your new bedroom if you don't that is." Helga said
"I don't mind I was going to ask you if I can have the basement as my bedroom." Astrid said as she picked up her bags and walk over to her new house where Helga showed her to her bedroom
"I'm going to decorate this room so much." Astrid said as she put her bags down
8 months later
For 8 months Astrid got used to living as a Viking again, but she didn't forget her friends out in the modern world, she used her magic to make hidden compartments that have modern technology that only she can use but no one else can use it. Astrid got back to training by throwing her axe at the trees that is outside of Berk.
Astrid become leader of a group of teens who introduced themselves as Snotlout who flirts with her every chance he can get but she would punch him instead because he reminded her of Chat Noir then there is the Twins Tuffnut and Ruffnut then there is Fishlegs the dragon nerd who can't shut up from talking about dragon then there is Hiccup who wasn't part of group since he was the outside of the teen group but Astrid kept an eye on him since he would be the one to stop the Dragon War and she might have started to develop a crush on the runt
Astrid and her friend group started to work as firefighters so when a dragon set a house on fire they would run over with water in their buckets so they can get the fire out.
