Chapter 102 - The Second White Symbol

Allen and Alrain's eyes widened in unison. They stared at Arvin, unable to believe what they had just heard from their husband's mouth. Alrain, who was holding his clothes, froze mid-motion.

"W-What did you say?" Alrain cried out in shock, his voice filled with disbelief. "How could you know that in such detail? Did you marry many people in the past? But when we first met in that era, you didn't have a single contract symbol on either of your hands!"

Seeing the panic and confusion on the faces of his two spouses, Arvin let out a soft sigh. He realized he had just said too much.

"You'll find out one day." Arvin answered casually as he began to dress, refusing to provide further explanation. "For now, don't let Yonna wait alone at the dining table."

Sensing the finality in his tone, Allen and Alrain knew it was useless to press Arvin further. They could only sigh in resignation and follow his lead. They hurried to dress neatly and walked out of the bathroom together.

Upon arriving at the dining table, the delicious aroma of various dishes immediately greeted their senses. Yonna was already seated patiently in one of the chairs, waiting for the three of them.

Noticing their arrival, Yonna turned her head. "Are you finished?" she asked, her eyes scanning the three men who looked much more refreshed.

"We are, Sister!" Alrain answered with a bright smile. Without hesitation, he stepped closer and showed her the back of his right hand. "Look, I am officially Arvin's spouse."

Yonna focused her gaze, seeing the white contract symbol now clearly and permanently engraved on her younger brother's hand. A surge of emotion swelled in her chest, seeing that her brother now had protection and happiness.

However, in the deepest corner of her heart, a sliver of envy inevitably crept in, making her wonder when she would find similar happiness for herself.

She looked into her brother's eyes. "Congratulations to both of you on your marriage." she said sincerely with a gentle smile.

"Thank you, Sister!" Alrain replied, his happiness overflowing. "Until the end of my life, I will never be separated from the person I have loved for so long. Hehehe."

Seeing the emotional atmosphere, Arvin decided to take charge of the situation.

"Let's eat!" Arvin said suddenly as he pulled out a chair and sat down. He was truly hungry. "I can't wait to enjoy my spouse's cooking."

Allen, who was about to sit, widened his eyes at his husband's words.

"Your spouse?" Allen asked, sounding slightly offended as he shot a protesting look at Arvin. "Yonna and I are the ones who worked hard to cook everything on this table, not just me!"

Seeing Allen's adorable pout because Yonna's hard work wasn't mentioned, Arvin finally burst into laughter.

"Hahaha." Arvin laughed quite loudly, his deep voice echoing through the dining room, creating a warmth that made the night feel absolutely perfect. "I forgot that Yonna helped you cook."

Under the dim yet warm glow of the dining room's crystal chandelier, the four of them sat down to enjoy dinner together. The soft clinking of cutlery against ceramic plates created a soothing domestic melody that filled the room.

Arvin took a bite of the roasted meat glazed in thick sauce, chewing slowly before closing his eyes for a moment to fully savor the flavor. He felt genuinely satisfied with the meal that Allen and Yonna had worked so hard to prepare.

"This food is absolutely delicious!" Arvin praised sincerely after swallowing his mouthful. He looked back and forth between Allen and Yonna with a wide, appreciative smile. "You two are truly talented. This feels like dining at a high-end restaurant in the capital."

Hearing the praise, Allen smiled proudly, a faint blush creeping onto his cheeks. However, Arvin's attention soon shifted entirely toward Yonna, who sat across from him.

"I am certain you will make an incredible wife in the future, Yonna." Arvin praised again, his tone turning deeper and more hopeful. He looked straight into her eyes, his gaze carrying the weight of a sincere prayer. "I hope you can soon find a life partner who matches your heart's desire, someone who can protect you... so you never have to experience the tragic events you went through in your previous life. For now, I will always take good care of you."

The words slipped effortlessly from Arvin's lips. To Allen, it sounded like the kind blessing of a good brother-in-law. But for Yonna and Alrain, who knew the truth about the "previous life" in that dark, past era, the sentence carried a heavy, significant weight.

Hearing the sincere praise coupled with the reminder that Arvin was determined to shield her from a cruel fate, Yonna's face instantly turned bright red. Her emotions were a chaotic mix of being touched, embarrassed, and startled.

The beautiful green-haired woman fumbled, nearly choking on her food. She hurriedly grabbed her glass of water and took a panicked gulp.

Seeing his sister's flustered state, Alrain let out a soft chuckle before turning to Allen and Yonna with eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.

"Allen! Sister!" Alrain called out excitedly, pausing his eating for a moment. "Please teach me how to cook starting tomorrow! I want to be able to serve meals as delicious as this. I want to be the best spouse for my husband! I beg of you..." he said, pressing his palms together in front of his chest, giving them a pleading look that was impossible to refuse.

Hearing such a sweet and spirited request from the second spouse, Allen immediately offered a gentle smile. There was no sense of rivalry in his heart; only warmth, for they were now one family.

"Of course, I'll do it!" Allen answered kindly. "I will teach you patiently until you can cook any dish and become the best spouse for our husband!"

"Thank you, Allen!" Alrain exclaimed with fervor, a wide grin spreading across his face. Without hesitation, he added in a cheerful tone, "I love you, First Spouse!"

Allen could only let out a small laugh in response to the blunt yet adorable declaration of affection.
