While many people my age are busy figuring out their goals and what they want to achieve in life, I am still searching for a sense of freedom. I feel like a bird trapped in a cage.
During my search for freedom, I met someone who seemed to be the answer to my problems. But before I could imagine a future with him, he suddenly disappeared. After almost four years, he came back and wanted to get back together.
I tried everything to find him. I went to his house, called his phone, and searched all the places we used to go. But he was nowhere to be found.
I worried constantly. Was he okay? Was he still alive? My mind was filled with these thoughts. I was devastated. Then, out of the blue, he called me.
He said, "Don't look for me. I left you because I don't want to be with you. Leave me alone. Let's break up." Then he hung up.
I don't understand why he suddenly wanted to end things. All I can do now is cry in silence as I try to make sense of his sudden decision to leave.
