Shiny has so much work that sometimes she forgets to take care of herself like a normal human. How does a normal human even work?
Her ability itself is a cause of that. Every perfected human is like a creature that diverge from its humanity into a path of perfection or imperfection. Both doesn't really have much difference. Just the title.
Their soul ability makes them different form one another. It is like those animals that once used to be in East world. Every animal had unique traits and behavior patterns. These paths also cause a human to change themselves into something that isn't human.
There are also Soul Goals. They're probably the most significant fact that changes one's behavior. Goal can be as simple as killing a bunch of creatures to finding the meaning of one's existence. Not to mention, not even a single soul is like another. All are different and unique. So in this uniqueness, humans will become something different from humans.
Shiny, herself is like the biggest victim of her soul. Her ability is always active around people. She knows their presence more than most perfected human. Her ability is basically body manipulation. So it is obvious that she has no peace in between people.
Maybe she can find peace in living all alone. Somewhere, that is devoid of all living things. But that is just asking for impossible.
Perfected humans have to deal with their souls. So she has to managed herself too.
She is happy with herself. Even though her life has no peace or quiet. She still thinks that it isn't all bad. She has earned so much respect and power from her ability so why would she curse her existence? But she wish one thing.
'That wish will come true but for now...'
For now, she has to think about this new development that happened out of nowhere.
She has planned to attack that demonoid blade. the knowledge about its existence isn't public. Only handful of people knows about it.
If she is able defeat the demonoid then the path to a whole new area of the West world will be opened.
West world isn't as old as the other worlds. So not much is explored. There isn't even a single type of creature that has any rule over this land. All just have small communities like humans.
If humans were to conquer some great power hidden in this world. Then humanity can rise to something greater than ever. But Shiny doesn't care about humanity.
She wants to unlock a power that would benefit her.
But for that, She need a team and a proper plan. For now, the only thing she has manage to get is a small amount of manpower. It isn't enough.
Nothing is enough when dealing with a threat like that. However, she has come to know that there is a weakness of this demonoid.
'Steel…Who is he?'
His presence was so…elusive. It is hard to detect him. It could be cause of his Soul ability. She isn't sure what else could be the reason. She is also very caution of that man.
According to him, he just wants to join. But she can see right through him. He is also after power like her. But why? Is he is spy? Who would send him? Dragons? Elves? Hybrids? Or maybe someone else.
Whatever the case, she can deal with him when she finally meet him. She does hope that this information is actually useful.
But for now, she just have to wait. In reality, she wants to know this weakness more than anything. But currently, she is present in…sort of a party.
This community was founded by Ghost. It has been Twenty one years seen that this great accomplishment. It is sort of an anniversary.
'Ghost, he is also a troublesome man.'
She has no interest in this occasion and that man is a too strong for her to put him in her first priority. She rather just think about whatever is more important. Like what should she do.
Her first priority is killing that demonoid blade or take it out of her way. If she has to compare an unknown threat and Ghost then she would choose unknown threat. It is much reasonable to deal with a demonoid than this human.
While she is thinking about thinks of these thoughts. Two creatures finds her.
From the appearance they look human, but they actually not human. One is like a beautiful elf with dark skin color. So a dark elf. They are rare to see here in west world.
Other one is a hybrid, or is she? Shiny has no idea if it is her Soul ability that has made her that way or it is something else.
Shiny would like to say that she is like a chimara.
Her appearance is hard to explain. Both of her eyes are different, one is like of a cat and other is like a goat. Part of her skin is like human and other is scales of different color and shape. She has a tail of some animal? What animal? Shiny isn't sure. She never studied that subject much.
Despite that, she looks beautiful. Maybe some people would ignore Chimera girl for her odd appearance. But Shiny's own skin is very odd so she really doesn't care about other's appearance.
Shiny really should name these two beauties. Elf girl's name is Civ2B, just call her Civ, and Chimera girl's name is Daisy.
Currently, Shiny is standing all alone in the hallway. Whenever, she needs to get away from people. She just stand wherever she wants. It isn't a bad habit of hers. She just can't be bothered to find a comfortable place for herself.
Daisy is the one to speak between the three. Her voice is sweet and really odd cause it coming out her a body that is so bizarre. Shiny always wonders if she alter her vocal cords or something.
"We finally found you. You have no idea how long we've been searching for you. We almost missed all of this party cause of you…"
Shiny replies. A bit apologetic.
"Sorry about that. But I didn't really miss the party-"
Civ interjects.
"With your own body."
Shiny notices that she looks mad. Civ is a very stubborn creature so it is hard to ever get your way whenever she is around.
These two people are invited by her as they would be part of her cohort. She knows a lot of people but these two are one of her most trusted. There is history between the three. And Shiny is the one who is like a bridge between the two too.
Perhaps, she should call them her friends or something.
Right now, Shiny, Civ2B, Daisy and War are the only members of her own cohort. There would be more cohorts but she needs to find more members for herself. Maybe she would consider that man, what is his name? Peel? Steal? doesn't matter right now.
While Shiny is thinking about what to say to Civ. She sees something through her ability.
"You know, let's move. He is in trouble again."
Civ just stares at her with a frown. Shiny can even see some wrinkles on her face.
"And sorry, Civ. I will be with you from now on.."
Civ's wrinkles starts to disappear a little by little. She still looks mad but now she looks normal. Daisy just smiles as if she is just happy to be present.
Shiny walks with her friends wondering what kind of trouble War has gotten himself into now.
