We hear the sound of weapons clashing. Blood dyed all the snow below us red. There were members of House of Evolution. "Not good." Gabriel said.
"Leave me here you fight." Charles said. He put his necklace back on when he picked it up. As Gabriel jumped down. Into the fight. Gabriel cut off someone's head.
"How did you get your necklace back?" I asked, looking at him. He looked confused.
"I have no clue." Charles said with a shrug. "Leave me here, go down there and watch the fight." He said he threw me into the battlefield. Bastard. I was flying above the battle. I watched Gabriel as he was trading blows with someone. Wait a second. It's him.
"May I know your name? Gabriel asked politely. With a kind smile.
"Name Ego." Ego said with a smile. That rat bastard. He was under the employment of Charles but he disappeared after a group had been put in the hospital. They're all in commas. We have no clue when they will wake up.
"Rat bastard." Were the words he could not be this much of a rat.
"Well it is Miss Valtina." Ego said with a mock bow. He was really annoying.
"Valtina May I ask who Ego is?" Gabriel asked in a calm voice. Dodging a surprise attack from Ego. As Ego jumped back to avoid a slash from Gabriel.
"He was a part of the new generation program. Charles took young people under his wing and taught them. There were seventeen of them. Ten are dead. Four are in critical condition and Ego and three others disappeared after the Pendragon Manor attack." I told him as Ego's smile grew, splitting his face.
"I killed those ten then almost killed Lamin, Joe as well those other two. The other three we all joined the House of Evolution." Ego taunted Gabriel and made my blood boil.
"So you killed your own allies." Gabriel was clearly mad his black Chaos Energy covers his body.
"So what? The House of Evolution is my place for now." Ego said, his voice full of laughter. This bastard after all Charles has done for you. You have the gull to turn your back at him.
"I don't like this kid. I might have done some bad things but my allies never had to worry about me killing them." Asura said from Gabriel cheek. He was pissed.
"Well then there are fools." Ego said with a cruel laugh. He was quite a brat. If I had my strength then I would have killed him.
"Phantom Cloak." Ego said with a smile. He disappeared. I forgot that he was egoless with a clear Chaos Energy.
"Where did he go? How did he copy Charles' move?" Gabriel asked. As his chaos energy clashed with the mysterious blade of Ego. He barely dodged a strike from Gabriel.
"Crystal Creation." Ego said as his hand touched the ground. Rainbow Crystal launched out forcing Gabriel to dodge.
"What you. Have a Chaos Technique." Gabriel said as a single ran down his cheek.
"Yes I do." Ego said with a frown on his face. As he pulls out Jackal no way.
"Wait that Charles gun." Gabriel said with even more shock in his voice.
"Phantom Bullet." Ego said as he fired his gun. Gabriel instinctively rolled to the side. The bullet had hit one of the members of the House of Evolution. He looked down at the gun. As his eyes turned into a harsh glare.
"You're a traitor to your own kind." Gabriel said, looking at Ego with pure hate in his eyes. Ego took a step back. With a smile.
"A traitor, I am a criminal." Ego said with a frown on his face. Shooting three more times. Gabriel dodged all three of them. All of them killed more House of Evolution members.
"Chaos Slash." Gabriel said as a wave of black energy shot out at Ego. Ego was able to dodge it.
"Phantom Bullet." Ego said as Gabriel ducted under them I think. As one of them hit a Member of Evolution in the spine. The other in the head. The third one was in the base of the spine and the head.
"You need to work on your aim." Gabriel said. As he shot once again. Gabriel jumped back. Dodging the bullet. It would have hit him in the shoulder if he did not dodge.
"Do I? I'll take that under note. Thank you for informing me about one of my weaknesses." Ego said with a bow. With a small smile on his lips. His hollow yellow eyes. Wait hollow they used to be bright and cherryful.
"Why are you trying to get on my good side, traitor?" Asura roared from his mouth on Gabriel's cheek. I still have no clue how he does it. Gabriel smacked his cheek to shut Asura up for now.
"Because despite my skill D- That Dimwit had not taught me much." Ego said he stuttered for a second.
"Charles is not a dimwit. I would say he is quite intelligent." Gabriel said with a frown on his face. Looking at Ego he looked to the ground and then back at Gabriel.
"Have you seen him talk to a girl?" Ego countered. Those were always fun. He is one of the sharpest when it comes to fighting but one of dullest when it comes to women.
"No I have not." Gabriel said with a frown on his face.
"You should, it was amazing to watch." Ego said as he charged. Both of the swords clash the sparks flying off the blades. Ego tries to kick Gabriel's side but fails because of the thick layer of chaos energy. Gabriel punched Ego in the face.
"Chaos Flash." Gabriel said as space and time warps. Black electricity comes from the wound. Ego was launched back. His back was against a giant rock.
"Do you know colourless people or egoless people are more likely to cause Chaos Flash to land." A voice said it was Huntsman sitting on the rock. He jumped down and grabbed Ego's shoulder.
"Huntsman, what are you doing?" Ego asked.
"I'm here to bring you back." Huntsman said as he pulled him. There was a portal made of black energy. "We will meet in a week's time. My minions will attack." Huntsman said as he walked through the portal. As the portal shut. Dead bodies littered the ground.
"What now?" I asked as I landed on Gabriel's shoulder.
"I have no clue. I would choose to fight." Gabriel said with a calm voice. He walks up the path as he sees Charles was still now in here.
"Have you seen Jackal?" Charles asked, looking at us.
"Wait your gun?" Gabriel asked, looking at Charles with a worried face. Charles nodded as Gabriel's face became grim.
"Ego took it." I told him he has a smile on his face.
"That good it better in his hands than an enemy." Charles said with pride in his voice.
"Ego has betrayed us." I said. As he lets out an awkward laugh and a forced smile.
"Valtina I thought you did not have a sense of humour." Charles said, slapping his knee.
"I am not joking." I told him.
