"What does that mean?" Elio frowned, staring at Fiona with squinted eyes.
"You are focusing on the wrong aspect. To make your Blood Energy move to your will, you are focusing on the movement rather than the energy itself. Don't think of it as merely an energy to control, Elio. Your energy has a special consciousness of its own, and it's your partner in everything. It heals you, strengthens you, is your sword and shield, and gives you every chance to fight and survive. Don't you think it deserves to be treated as that? A partner?" Fiona asked with a calm tone.
Her words hit Elio as his eyes widened. Slowly, he looked down at his body. 'Partner? That… That makes sense. How did I not think of this?' He mused.
This entire time, Elio thought of his energy as merely fuel. Fuel that would be used as a tool to make himself stronger in every aspect. He never looked at Blood Energy like a true part of him and his very weapon against everything.
