Chapter 6 - Slave pact

[Congratulations on completing the tutorial.]

Nolan found that message strange, after all, the system hadn't told him anything about a tutorial. In fact, the system had explained very little to him.

So, setting that doubt aside, the boy noticed that the world around him had frozen once again. This was evident from the birds suspended mid-flight on the horizon.

He was immersed in absolute silence, as if time had been suspended just for him. That's when a bright blue screen appeared before his eyes, floating in the air as if it were part of a parallel reality.

The system once again displayed the information of his first two abilities, and nothing had changed in that regard. However, the text for his third ability was no longer hidden:

Third skill: Servitude Contract

Description: Establishes a magical bond between master and servant, ensuring absolute loyalty.

Conditions:

The servant must voluntarily agree to the contract.Acceptance must be heartfelt, without coercion or deception.

Effects:

The servant cannot betray or act against the master.

The master can sense the servant's emotions and intentions.

The contract can only be broken by the master.

And before the boy could have any doubts about that ability, he felt his head ache again, but this time with much less intensity. Immediately after, the information flowed directly into his mind.

He instantly learned how to create the magic seal, as well as the necessary conditions to activate it. To use that power, he needed to position his left hand on a woman's womb, causing the mark of servitude to appear.

However, his desire alone wasn't enough for the contract to form. The seal would only work if the other person agreed freely and spontaneously, and the acceptance had to be genuine, coming from the heart.

This meant it couldn't be used by force or through manipulation, which didn't seem very useful. He didn't believe Eliza, for instance, genuinely wished to be his servant from the bottom of her heart.

In any case, from the moment the contract was established, the woman would basically become his absolute slave. She wouldn't be able to disobey, and he would naturally be able to sense her emotions.

While reflecting on this, the blue screen glowed again, revealing something that intrigued him even more:

Fourth skill: ???

Description: ???

Nolan was perplexed. A fourth ability? But why was there no information about it? He tried to search his system, but found nothing.

The blue screen before him didn't respond to his touch. He tried to see if he could do something with his thoughts. He even tried speaking aloud to ask the system to tell him something.

But he was completely ignored, time began to flow again, and he didn't even know how to make that blue screen reappear.

That said, considering what had just happened, he intuited that he needed to do something to unlock the fourth power. Given the message he received about completing the tutorial, perhaps the next step was to complete the first phase.

"Thinking about it, these game dynamics were common in the novels Clara used to read..." he murmured, remembering a nerdy girl with big tits he had slept with many times.

Nolan had even spent a week at her house, which was how he ended up reading some of her books. All his contact with system novels came from there.

That said, normally, the missions were presented much more clearly. It was frustrating how little information seemed to be available about this system.

But he wasn't going to complain. In truth, he didn't care much. After all, he was more interested in thinking about how he would live his life in this new world.

To start, he tried waking Eliza up, but since she wouldn't wake up no matter what, he gave up and even dressed her, wanting to avoid trouble. Then he simply left her unconscious on the floor; he didn't intend to waste any more time on her.

This was only the last week of classes, and considering the grades of this world's Nolan, he decided he didn't need to worry about his academic performance.

That said, there was something else he needed to worry about: money. Of course, he could just demand money from Eliza, and he would definitely force her to hand over a hefty sum for his mother. But as a man, he preferred to earn it himself.

Besides, he wanted to learn more about this world, so he decided to start with a job at a shop or restaurant, serving customers. It was simple work and would be perfect for his summer break.

Before leaving, Nolan sent Eliza an email. Since she didn't seem like she'd wake up anytime soon, and he had no intention of waiting, this was the only option. Plus, he didn't even have her phone number.

The email was straightforward, containing a few simple orders. First, he made it clear that if Eliza valued her life, she shouldn't tell anyone what had happened. Additionally, she had to ensure her brother kept his mouth shut as well.

Next, Nolan ordered her to arrange a raise and promotion for his mother, ensuring she was transferred to a position where she'd have less actual work.

He even considered just telling Eliza to give the money directly to his mom, but, in this dimension or any other, that woman was too proud to accept it.

If he tried, she'd insist her son should spend the money on himself. And if he tried sending the money through Eliza, his mother would grow suspicious.

Taking all that into consideration, this was the best solution. Besides, his mother would certainly be happy with the promotion.

Finally, Nolan gave one last order: Eliza was to arrange a marriage between him and her sister, Linda. After all, from his memories, he knew she was a good woman. And he also had other reasons to want to get closer to her.

With that settled, Nolan left the place without looking back. He had bigger plans and needed to establish himself in this new reality.

The first step was to get a job. He couldn't rely solely on the magical abilities he had acquired; he needed a solid base, something that would give him stability and access to resources.

He walked to the city center, where various companies and shops were located. As he walked past a tech store, he noticed one of the attendants was strikingly beautiful, and that alone made him think it might be a great place to work.

He entered the place with confidence and walked to the main counter.

"Can I help you?" the employee asked, with a professional smile.

"Yes, I'm looking for a job," Nolan replied, maintaining his confident posture. "I have experience with computers and system maintenance."

The employee looked at him with interest. "Do you have a resume? We also don't know if we're hiring, uh… Did you see the job opening somewhere? It might have been a mistake?"

"If your boss is here, you can call them. I'm sure they'll be interested in my resume."

The man, acting surprisingly submissive, simply went to find the manager. Nolan found that a bit strange, but he would have to get used to it; after all, practically all men in that dimension behaved that way.

The manager, on the other hand, was an uninteresting old woman. Regardless, after showing that he was studying at a prestigious college and talking a bit about his skills, Nolan quickly convinced her to hire him.

Conversation had always been his greatest talent; the subtle art of selling himself. With the original Nolan's stellar grades added to the mix, getting the job was practically a formality.

With that resolved, he returned home planning to begin working tomorrow. However, upon arriving, he found Eliza waiting for him.

She stood with her arms crossed, her irritated look making it clear she was bothered by something he had done.
