Chapter 377 - Üç Yüz Yetmiş Yedi

"Do you see anything?"

"Yes, I can clearly see everything down to the smallest detail. The floor on the ground, the marks on the walls, the floors accessed by stairs, and an angry orc face looking at us!"

Jashua was trying to feel his surroundings with his eyes closed while listening to what Lareina said, but after the young girl's last words, his awe-inspiring aura suddenly changed.

"Sir!"

"Thank goodness we could see your rose-like face, Count of the Bloody Moon Fiefdom; what wind blew you here?"

Knowing what would come out of Nafız's mouth when she put her hand on her waist, Jashua got the scolding he was going to get even though he tried to make a soft entry.

"She fought with very interesting people in the arena; we lost time because she was trying to help them. Also, since I cannot move as fast as you, I slowed Jashua down!"

Lareina seemed unused to such tense environments and jumped in partly to protect the Young Count.

"You shut up, little fosterling! What did you do; did you examine the box left by your mother?"

"Yes, I started using the contents!"

"Contents?"

"Right, let me show you too!"

Lareina was reaching her hand into the bag hanging from her shoulder, which she used to carry her drawings, when four people appeared around the group, and their looks were not ominous at all.

"Did you just say Lord of the Bloody Moon Fiefdom?"

The man who brought his head in front of Nafız's face spoke while one of his eyes twitched; his breath was hitting the young girl's face.

"Yes, I said so, carrion-smelling one. What happened?"

When the Blood God came head to head with one of the newcomers, the other three people surrounded Jashua and Lareina. Their looks were full of grudge and anger; although Jashua couldn't make sense of this, he instinctively took his weapon in his hand.

"What is happening; why are you bullying us?"

Lareina's voice came out trembling; although her situation wasn't understood because her face wasn't visible, it was very clear she panicked.

"You know best how to bully. As if what you made my clan suffer wasn't enough, did you now kill the lord's lineage and seize its administration?"

The man in front of Nafız turned furiously and started shouting at Lareina; while the young girl took a step back, Jashua became furious at this situation.

"Back off, or I will rip your head off!"

When the Young Count stepped in front of the strange-looking girl, he clenched his teeth; while the sounds came out of his mouth with difficulty, he stopped suppressing his intention to fight.

Both sides drew their weapons; they were following their enemies out of the corner of their eyes and talking to each other through mental communication.

The war was about to break out, but in the moments when breaths quickened, Lareina behind Jashua unexpectedly stepped between the two sides and spoke.

"If you were men enough, you should have protected your fiefdom. As if failing at that wasn't enough, are you bullying those who took your place protecting it?"

"Who are you?"

The voice of the man who lashed out furiously just a moment ago was trembling; his gaze locked onto the young girl.

"Staying here for a long time has blinded your eyes; now look again and tell me, who am I?"

Lareina raised her right hand and tossed back her hair covering her face; when her face, revealed for a duration of two breaths, was covered again, four people fell to their knees.

"My Lady!"

"My Lady!"

"My Lady!"

"My Lady!"

They shouted in unison and loudly, but the feeling of sorrow trying to hide inside the word was saying, "I am here."

"Now, continue to do as you are told!"

The quartet left with the speed they came; they disappeared from sight as if they never existed.

"Lareina, what are you doing?"

When Jashua lunged and grabbed the girl's shoulders, he froze; he couldn't move a single muscle due to the energy flowing into his body. Lareina was in the same state; while the two young people stood frozen, Nafız started speaking accompanied by an arrogant smile.

"It's been barely a day; was there a need to show yourself this much, Mora's mother?"

The visible part of Lareina's lips curled slightly upwards, but this lasted only a moment; then tears started streaming down her cheeks.

"What happened; what did I do just now?"

When the strange girl returned to her body, she fell into complex emotions and started crying; she hugged Jashua, who was standing right behind her gripping her shoulders.

"I am completely sure now that she used the contents of the box, but I didn't expect it to be this effective from the first day. I am very curious about what will happen when we go to the place in my mind!"

Nafız muttered to herself while watching the duo; everyone seemed satisfied with their situation, and although the Blood God inwardly wanted to spoil this, she managed to restrain herself for this once.

"I want to examine some things; you can hang out on your own!"

Nafız, who started climbing the stairs leading to the upper floor, disappeared from sight after a while; the duo on the library floor stood without moving.

"There is only one path in front of you, Jashua; let's see if you can walk it?"

Nafız continued talking to herself; meanwhile, she went up one more floor and walked towards the shelves in the right corner of the building. When she arrived in front of it, she took more than five books in a single move from the shelf she examined for a while and let herself fall into the void.

Three breaths later, she landed on the floor; when she landed on her toes, a noise as loud as a drop falling into water came out. Those reading books or scrolls around didn't even turn to look; only people developing their techniques cast a glance and returned to their work.

"They are very calm; those four people claim to be disciples of the Bloody Moon Fiefdom, but it is impossible for such strong people to have come out of there recently. None of these types were in the Blood Arena either; where exactly is this place?"

Nafız, looking around, dismissed the thoughts passing through her head and quietly moved to a corner to start reading the first of the books she took from the shelves.

"Orc Dominion!"

The worn thick binding had a pale green color; although a normal person wouldn't understand what this was, Nafız knew exactly the source of the thing she held in her hand.

"Orc skin! Scums, they made the book's binding from the skin of one of my kin!"

She hit the hand she made into a fist against the wall she leaned her back on; no sound came out, but when she pulled it back, a small hollow had opened on the stone wall resistant to attacks.

"Calm down, calm down! These are two communities that fought each other in the past; control yourself! Besides, why did I get so angry?"

Nafız, trying to calm down by talking to herself, had hands trembling so much that she had to put the book on the ground and balance her breath for a while. When she picked up the book after quite a long time, her nerves had settled; she opened the cover and started reading the first page.

She was reading very fast, and the wideness of her eyes continued to increase with every page. When she turned the pages as if devouring them and came to the end, she fixed her eyes on the high roof of the library and let out a deep breath; there was a satisfied expression on her face.

"From that magnificence, how could you fall so low?"

Her bright gaze didn't last long; a breath or two later, lines of sorrow appeared under her eyes, and extending her hand, she attempted to take the other book. Meanwhile, the tattoo on her right arm was exposed; Nafız stroked the shape, three-quarters of which was erased, with her other hand.

"I wonder what you are doing, Alis?"

Then she started reading the book with Orc Bloodlines and Abilities written in blood-red colors on its cover; Jashua and Lareina, who entered the library with her, were also immersed in their own studies.

No matter what, they were living in a comfortable environment, safely, but for someone they knew very closely, the situation was completely the opposite.

"He he he, you little bunny! Let's see how you will endure this time?"
