Chapter 368 - Üç Yüz Altmış Sekiz

After the young disciple's behavior, his friend hugged him with joy; having lost everything he had, he could now start over.

"Thank you so much!"

He was hugging him tightly and thanking him repeatedly; a few of those watching them turned their gazes to the fighting area.

"Maybe this time, that girl will distribute half of her winnings too!"

"How nice that would be; if she distributed half of that huge blood stone, we would be made!"

Some of the spectators expected from Nafız today what Jashua had done yesterday, and the Blood God overheard these conversations.

"Keep dreaming, you'll wait a long time!"

As the five blood stones, the size of the one she sent, disappeared into her hands, Nafız clearly revealed her intention. After Nafız's harsh attitude against the Young Count's generosity, booing started from the spectator rows.

"Come on, let whoever has the courage come!"

The reactions she received drove Nafız mad; taking out her two daggers from her wristbands, she was walking towards the low wall while Jashua was running right behind her to stop her, but the Blood God suddenly stopped.

She turned her gaze to a corner of the arena and started running towards there rapidly. Only a red line formed; the moment the booing people blinked, Nafız had vanished from the battlefield.

"You can't escape from me!"

While Jashua was looking left and right, Nafız, in the guise of a young girl, grabbed someone whose face was covered with hair by the scruff of the neck outside the Blood Arena.

"Let go, let me go!"

"First, you will explain why you directed your energy at me and how you managed to insert it through my protective shield. If I am satisfied, I will let go; if not, you think about what will happen to you!"

"Please let go, it hurts!"

The girl whose face was not visible spoke with a pathetic voice; Nafız did not seem very affected by this, but a voice she hadn't heard for a long time whispered to her from inside.

"Nafız, let go!"

"Mora!"

When the girl, on whose throat fingerprints appeared, fell to the ground, Nafız was not looking at her; she was stuck on Mora's voice, with whom she hadn't communicated directly for a very long time.

"Hey, are you okay?"

When Jashua came to their side, he first asked the girl on the ground about her condition; looking from afar, it was obvious she wasn't very well. As for Nafız, she was still waiting; she was waiting for the young woman she hadn't seen for a long time to communicate with her once more.

"I am better; why are you doing this to me?"

"Little mouse, I ask the questions here; why are you trying to insert energy threads into our bodies?"

"Energy thread? I, I don't know how to use energy?"

Upon the words of the girl whose face was mostly invisible due to her hair, Nafız and Jashua made eye contact. It was not convincing at all for someone possessing energy threads capable of piercing the barriers of even those familiar with blood energy like them to say she couldn't use energy.

"Are you mocking me on top of it? Then let me finish the job I started just now!"

Nafız swung her hand furiously at the girl's nape, but froze just as she was about to grab it. The marks that formed when she grabbed her just a moment ago caught her eye.

"I grabbed you using almost no energy; were you not protecting yourself using your energy at all?"

She asked the question and remembered she had received the answer beforehand. The girl whose face was mostly invisible was not lying; she couldn't even protect herself from an attack that could be considered almost physical.

"Okay, then how will you explain the energy threads entering our bodies?"

The girl hiding her face with her hair did not speak for a while, then after swallowing a few times, she answered.

"They are not energy threads!"

The girl said one word and created a thousand new questions, but she continued speaking.

"I don't know what they are or how to control them. Whenever I draw what I see, I feel something separating from the paper and moving away!"

"Really, how do you see and draw people; you can't even see in front of you in this state!"

When Nafız reached out her hand wanting to lift her hair from her face, the girl turned her head rapidly; while she was trying to escape, Jashua caught her by the arm.

"I have a picture you drew yesterday; how did you do this?"

"Yesterday, did I drop something yesterday?"

The Young Count handed the picture he picked up from the ground yesterday to the girl, but the girl seemed uninterested.

"I am talking to you, how did you draw this?"

Jashua roared, getting furious as he didn't get an answer; this state of Jashua, who practically turned into a wild creature right beside her, would be enough to make the girl cry.

"I don't know, images appear in my brain and I draw!"

The answer he received must not have been sufficient, as the Young Count acted forward, but this time Nafız cut him off.

"So you don't see, images appear in your brain, is that so?"

While saying this, the Blood God waved her hand three fingers away from the girl's face; what she wanted to test was immediately understood.

"Yes, it happens like I said!"

Jashua also solved what was going on; he imitated Nafız but could not get a reaction from the girl hiding her face with her hair.

"I understand, then can I look at the other things you drew?"

A part of the girl's lips, which was the only visible thing on her face, curled upwards; although this situation put Nafız on alert, what happened next would not be as she expected.

"Alright, but I can't show them here. Why don't we go to my room?"

"What, do you want us to come to the Temple with you?"

"Yes, what happened? Don't you want to come?"

"No, not that. Since that is a place where only special disciples enter, most likely they won't let us in."

While Jashua and the girl were talking, Nafız did not intervene; she was just examining the strange girl's attitude from the side.

"Uncle Atractivo told me I could invite my friends."

"Which Atractivo, the one who is the Sheikh?"

"No, Atractivo who presses toast in the sect canteen!"

Nafız couldn't endure it; she gave an answer befitting herself to Jashua's ridiculous question.

"Yes, Uncle Atractivo told me when he brought me here but…!"

The girl finished her sentence, which started with joy, almost mumbling.

"What happened?"

"I couldn't tell anyone before; people either run away from me or treat me very badly!"

Upon the girl's words, Nafız stared at the marks she left on her neck. Her hair, short in the back and long in the front, could not prevent her from seeing these marks.

"I didn't know you couldn't use energy just now; does your neck hurt?"

"No, it doesn't hurt. I am perfectly fine!"

It was obvious from her every state that she was lying; her body language was screaming it. She was a very interesting girl; she was wearing a long dress that fitted perfectly at the waist and widened towards the hem.

The ornamentation of the red dress was very minimal; there were patterns woven with gold threads on the belt part and some embroidery on the neck part.

Her dark chestnut hair was actually cut in a bob, but the front part was longer than the back and covered a large part of her face diagonally.

A small ball of medicine appeared in Nafız's hand; it was a dark gray mixture, and she quickly rubbed it over the marks on the girl's neck.

"Come on, show us the way!"

The two friends started walking after the strange girl; they arrived at the door of the Temple in less than five minutes. As stated, the guards at the door did not stop them because they were with the girl; they entered a wide corridor and began to walk.

"My room is at the very end of this corridor!"

The girl's excitement reflected in her voice; just at this moment, they came side by side with two people coming from the opposite direction.

"Look at that, she has dragged wretches like herself along!"

"How could a blind person like this have friends anyway?"

With the spoken words, the girl stopped; her head was bowed forward. Then a loud explosion sound came; Jashua had grabbed the duo by their throats and buried them into the marble pillar right beside him.

"I couldn't hear what you said. Say it again!"

Blood was leaking from the mouths where arrogant words spilled just a few breaths ago, but nothing else came out. Jashua, pulling the duo out of the pillar, slammed them onto the milk-white marble floor with the same speed this time. The blood starting to flow from their heads reached all the way to the feet of the girl whose face was invisible.
