The druids were speechless; as Nafız increased the dosage, their heads bowed a bit more. Number Two, holding the long iron stick in his hand, had already started trembling; the female orc's words must have offended him the most.
"Well, what do you think will happen when that shield falls; do you think they will pity you with the ambition given by the struggle of all those years, no matter how much you beg?"
"They won't even kill you; they will leave you alive to watch what they will do to your loved ones; will you be able to say 'this is our nature' then?"
When Nafız fell silent, she didn't expect this to be the last speech she would make today; when a cry was added to the chilling sound of a broken bone, she was also in great astonishment.
"Die, murderers!"
The seed sown by the warrior female orc, who completed the harshness her short hair added to her expression with her sharp looks, had sprouted at lightning speed; the person who took an iron stick as thick as a wrist as a weapon due to his large physique compared to the druids had struck the first blow.
His weapon was made of alloy metal seven spans long; although there were minor carvings on it, the impression it gave at first sight was that it resembled a straight stick.
"What are you doing Conlaoch; how will you look at the faces of our ancestors!"
Seeing his subordinate's action, the frail-voiced druid shouted in panic; there were small mischiefs they did together, but the effect of such a violent movement had been completely different.
"Shut up; will you tell your ancestor that you hid behind a shield while your race was subjected to genocide?"
Alyon was very angry at the reaction given to a move he appreciated; since he couldn't hit the druids, he would smash the head of the soldier frozen right in front of him with a single punch.
Although the move the hulking orc made was terrifying, the young druid who struck the first blow wasn't bad either. The stick in his hand was unpretentious, but the damage it inflicted wasn't to be underestimated; swinging with ambition, he had broken the neck of the soldier he descended upon, causing the head losing its support to sway aimlessly left and right.
"Continue, brave druid warrior; strike in defiance of the cowards standing behind you!"
For Nafız, who had the memories of a human inside her, it was time to stand aside and watch; the stage was left to the purebred orc warrior Alyon and the druid who broke his chains.
Although he didn't want to show it, Conlaoch had paused for a moment because he killed a human for the first time; without the words of the orc supporting him, this situation could have prolonged, but when Alyon crushed the second soldier's head between his two hands, no question marks would remain in the young druid's mind.
He started swinging his newly acquired weapon with movements full of determination; every blow was followed by a sound of bone breaking, cut breaths, and bitter cries.
No one could know how many centuries had passed since an orc and a druid fought back to back on the same square; although the resulting image was a bit strange, the magnificence of the emotion it caused would penetrate Nafız's gaze.
While the two daggers in the hands of the First and the bow of the unnamed druid waited to be used, all ten soldiers had already lost their pathetic lives; blood leaking from their corpses was sliding over the green cover, mixing a heavy smell into the air with the blowing wind.
"I liked this kid, Nafız; I will take care of his training from this hour on!"
The gray-haired orc had grasped the druid, on whose shoulder he threw his hand, firmly; there was no turning back for him anymore. A dam inside him had broken; while the flood of anger and revenge crushed whatever came before it, he was doing what came from inside him without listening to words.
"What was your name!"
"Conlaoch, sir!"
"Good; the man standing next to you walked the paths you need to pass a very long time ago; stick to his shadow and never let go!"
Nafız was clearly showing that she was quite pleased with the atmosphere created; even her asking the brave druid for his name could be counted as a praise in itself.
"You two, come here!"
Although she acted warmly toward the man who got blood on his hands, the female orc hadn't even deigned to look at the remaining two druids.
"Gather the corpses together, take off whatever is on them and stack them; you have half an hour!"
Nafız's order was clear; she was telling them to loot the dead bodies of the men they were afraid to attack while they were alive. The druids, hesitating to do such a dishonorable act, paused a little first; what they didn't know was that their value judgments meant nothing to the orcs in front of them.
They would start doing what was said willy-nilly after a while; what was interesting at this point was that the druid named Conlaoch also made a move to help them.
"Hop, stop there; did I tell you to help?"
The one speaking was Alyon; while shouting from a higher pitch, he tilted his head slightly to the side and looked at the brave druid in a questioning manner.
"Sir, I!"
"Cut it; there is no carcass looting in your training!"
After the job Nafız implicitly had them do with her order was thrown in their faces, the expressions of the two youths had taken a pathetic state. When the gray-haired orc spat on the ground looking at them, they would realize in pain that they had never been so ashamed in their lives.
"Take your stick in your hand; since you got into the mood, we shouldn't miss this opportunity!"
The oversized druid and the oversized orc had started a training fight; Alyon had spoken correctly again as had often been the case lately, strike while the iron is hot.
"What's up big boy, is your strength not enough for Pehlivan? You found a strange druid, who are you showing off to?"
After the quiet days inside the shield, the first interaction with the enemy had occurred, and as a result, one of the druids in the team had been able to break the molds imposed on him for years.
If Nafız didn't tease Alyon at such a time, when would she? Knowing his weak point, she had hit the gray-haired handsome man directly from there.
"Entertainment has come up for you really; wait, let's finish this fight, I will take him down a peg or two as well!"
In the moments when the hulking orc's power animal was mentioned, Alis came out of the seal and spread out in her place on her owner's shoulder.
"Don't get your hopes up in vain; after your last duel, Pehlivan told me, 'That weakling needs to eat ten more ovens of bread to beat me.'"
As if Nafız wasn't enough, the power animal was also adding fuel to the fire; her lies or true words were enough to make Alyon's patience overflow.
"Step aside for a moment you; I have a small job!"
The hulking orc, pushing Conlaoch aside, started to make a creature over three meters tall appear in front of him after putting his hand on the tattoo on his wrist; a breath later, everyone could see what this was.
The power animal Pehlivan had made an appearance; the druids, who hadn't yet digested the white rabbit on Nafız's shoulder talking, had swallowed their tongues and become unable to even breathe in the face of this scene.
"Come on, damn it; let's see whose ass is black and whose is white!"
Pehlivan answered the challenge made with the same harshness; seeing the two sides speeding toward each other, the druids also stopped their work and were watching them.
"You two back to your duty; it is not your right to watch this duel!"
The duo looting carcasses returned to their duties without saying a single word after the warning coming from the female orc; although the treatment done offended them, they didn't have the face to object.
"Hit him Pehlivan, smack him right in the middle of his mouth!"
Nafız, who started watching the struggle taking place again, experienced a short-term shock after the voice ringing in her ear; the power animal in the form of a tiny white rabbit was cheering madly.
"What's up Alis; you are very energetic today!"
"What happened sister, if I supported my spirit animal!"
Nafız, teasing jokingly, would grab the tiny rabbit by her ear rapidly after the sharp answer she received; she couldn't risk falling into the same situation while mocking her friend.
"Look at this show-off; did you enter puberty or something? Your tongue has become as long as a shoe!"
