After these words, the green-haired druid was confused, but perhaps out of fear or due to his naive temperament, he continued to follow the duo without making a sound.
"Wow wow wow, how festive this place is!"
Since they advanced with a certain order within the dense vegetation, Alyon was the first to see the heavy siege when they came close to the area protected by the shimmering shield.
Actually, the transparent shield wrapping the druids was colorless; it was immediately striking how easily the sun rays filtering through its texture, as fine as tulle, passed through.
The glimmers visible even from afar were a completely different matter; these were the doing of the enemies attacking from all four sides. They were attacking relentlessly with magical techniques, war machines, and siege weapons; they had the intoxication of a crazy painter pouring his paints onto a white canvas.
"Green, did you set off toward the Orc Steppes by slipping through this siege!"
Nafız would leave her friends for a while to scout the surroundings; when she returned, it could be read from the expression on her face that there were some matters she couldn't figure out.
"Sir, the Exalted Spirit of The Divine Tree has the ability to change the shape of the shield; it had created a tunnel extending outside the siege so that I could go out!"
After the answer, the two orcs looked at each other involuntarily; it could be clearly seen that although they had gotten closer, there was still a distance of nearly a thousand steps.
Seeing the reaction given by the others, the druid would continue speaking.
"This is what I wanted to tell you while leaving the outpost; here is the place where my help will touch you!"
Whoever this Exalted Spirit of The Divine Tree was, it really had a very precise control ability; while Green was speaking, Nafız was thinking of something completely different based on this fact.
"I see that this spirit constantly adjusts the shield's sensitivity to ensure air and light entry inside; since it is so skilled, why can't it harm the enemy in a state of siege?"
"Sir, by our nature..."
"Damn your sir and your nature; man, they have entered your continent, what kind of conscience is this?"
Alyon, being a purebred orc, couldn't endure this much; grabbing the frail druid by the collar with both hands, he threw him aside.
The green-haired man falling to the ground wasn't speaking; he was looking at them with a strange veil appearing in his eyes. This wasn't fear or intimidation; there was peace in his eyes given by accepting what happened and meeting it with understanding instead of trying to resist.
"Can you take us inside the shield?"
Everyone's stance in the face of troubles was different; this was a state she couldn't change, and Nafız decided not to be insistent.
"Yes, we will have entered shortly!"
When he finished his words, the druid, slowly getting up from where he fell, started collecting the dried branches around them. Amidst the curious looks of Alyon and Nafız, some murmurs would start coming from between the lips of the green-haired man sitting at the head of the pattern he drew with the branches.
Simultaneously, while some ripples occurred on the surface of the shield, this situation had attracted the attention of the siege units of the four civilizations.
"Ha ha ha, I guess they will send another one to call for help again!"
"Stop, shh, don't make a sound; the last one we caught died immediately, maybe this time one will be more durable!"
While the conversations passing among the invader soldiers surrounded the sky dome like a swarm of giant locusts, the main theme was various disgusting things passing through their minds.
"I hope it's a woman; if it turns out to be a man again, our habits will change, ha ha ha!"
Spirits were high in the siege armies; when the Mercenaries saw that the place where the interaction occurred appeared in their own sections, their joy would increase one fold more.
The borders of the four forces had been drawn definitively, but as the circle narrowed toward the center, they had come close enough to control each other comfortably.
"A druid is coming out from where that marauder herd is again; what if they appeared in this direction for once!"
A soldier busy shooting at the head of the big cannon in front of him was grumbling in grief; judging by the two gears on the chest part of his blue uniform, this person belonged to the forces of the Machine Lords.
"Stop whining! You should be aware that we need to dominate the sea route for ammunition transport!"
The answer to the person speaking in rebellion came from someone watching the events silently a few steps behind him; with the metal alloy covering his gray hair and a part of his face, this man had an allure that drew people in as much as he was frightening.
Since the siege plan was arranged to prevent unnecessary conflicts, the two eternal enemy civilizations were not in contact, but when the distance shortened, no one could hold their tongues against each other.
For the people of the Lands of Light and the Hell Realm, who sent more curses and insults to each other than the magical techniques sent to the shield, a druid had no more importance than an ant walking on the ground.
The green-haired druid had kept his word; as he said, a piece separating from the outer surface of the shield within a short time would create a passage to be walked safely between where they stood and the Druid settlement.
Apart from Alyon and Nafız, no one in the large siege area was surprised by what was happening; even they had forgotten how many times they had watched the same scene.
What really astonished them was that no one came out from inside the shield even though ten breaths had passed; since they were all focused on one point, they would notice the three people walking from outside to inside very late.
"I can't believe it; there are some returning!"
When the weak voice rang in the environment, it couldn't be very remarkable; while attention was elsewhere, Nafız and the two people with her had come halfway.
"From this side, there are those entering inside the shield from outside!"
Saying one, two, the truth could be understood after the images of two orcs and a druid inside the passage were seen by dozens of soldiers; this time, no one was going to call for help, on the contrary, the expected people had arrived.
"What a lot of noise they made; whereas they are all dead as of this moment!"
When the crowd's voice and energy turned toward them, Nafız examined the crowd gathering around them only out of the corner of her eye; as she stated in her words, their future was sealed according to her.
"Look at those; only a crooked druid and two freaks could make it!"
The weak soldier, whose most prominent feature on his face covered by hair stuck with grease was a pointed nose standing as if added later, was shouting breathlessly; people getting excited by his voice would start harassing the trio with various words and insults.
"What thick-skinned types these are; come on boys, let's welcome them in a way befitting us!"
Everything was happening as expected; even though they couldn't touch you while passing through the enemy, they would want to do whatever they could. Although Nafız and Alyon were aware of this, they must admit that it wasn't possible for them to predict the situation that would occur with the last call.
Some people belonging to the force of the Mercenaries were undressing accompanied by laughter; signs of degenerate madness could be sensed in their gazes while rubbing their private parts and sexual organs against the tunnel formed by the shield.
"Wouldn't you like a taste, female orc!"
"Look at this ass of mine; isn't it much more beautiful than your green face?"
The target of the attacks was the two orcs; when looking at the state of the green-haired druid, he clearly showed that he was already accustomed to such things.
They had taken barely ten steps upon the occurrence of the tragicomic event, but it seemed that the same scene would always await them for the rest of the way.
"Which idiot could fall for such a simple provocation; just a handful of brainless people!"
Although Nafız couldn't be as relaxed as the druid, she didn't much mind the perverted writhing of these people in desperation. She was busy planning what she would do after entering inside the shield until the sounds of a volcano exploding right next to her ear caused her to shake violently.
"Look at the sons of bitches; who are you showing off to, damn it!"
The last straw had been reached; in the moments when orc pride took his brain captive, Alyon was pulling down his pants in retaliation.
Suddenly all sounds were cut off as if they had never existed; the period of twenty breaths that would pass from this moment on would be the quietest times the Wild Swamp continent had spent in the last hundred years.
