The coins stopped feeling real the moment they crossed seven digits.
Osamu stood near the edge of Shells Town's harbor, watching the water slap lazily against the docks, the Marine base looming in the background like it always had in the manga. Luffy's voice carried behind him—loud, careless, arguing with a green-haired man tied to a post.
Zoro.
So it really is this point, Osamu thought. Romance Dawn. No turning back now.
The system chimed.
> [Available Funds: 3,491,600 Belly]
Osamu let out a breath and laughed under his nose.
Not happy. Not excited.
Nervous.
"Alright," he muttered. "If I'm doing this… I'm doing it once."
Seven hundred thousand Belly vanished.
The sound didn't echo.
Because time stopped.
The waves froze mid-splash.
A seagull hung in the air, wings spread.
Luffy's mouth was open mid-complaint, Zoro's eye half-lidded in irritation.
Everything went silent.
"…Oh," Osamu said softly. "That's new."
The world dimmed, like someone had turned down reality's brightness. A circular interface unfolded around him—not flashy, not glowing—more like pages flipping in the dark.
> [High-Grade Gacha — 20× Draw]
[Time Suspension Active]
Osamu swallowed.
"Alright. Show me."
---
Pulls 1–5
1. Sasuke Uchiha's Outfit (Early Series)
Cloth information flooded his hands—lightweight, flexible, built for movement.
"…Drip acquired," Osamu muttered.
2. Silent Step (Passive)
His footsteps disappeared from his awareness.
"Okay, that's… useful."
3. Chakra Circulation (Basic Framework)
Not power. Infrastructure.
Osamu winced. "You're laying foundations already. I see you."
4. Thousand Years of Death (Technique)
The knowledge hit him and he immediately covered his face with one hand.
"…You motherf—"
5. Pain Resistance (Minor)
Dull, practical, boring.
Good.
---
Pulls 6–10
6. Predator Mode (Legendary Passive)
The world rewired itself.
Angles. Balance. Fear. Intent.
Osamu staggered a half-step. "Jesus…"
7. Shadow Clone Jutsu (Technique)
The understanding was immediate.
Split. Share. Divide.
He grinned. "Oh, this is going to be disgusting."
8. Night Vision (Limited Duration)
9. Enhanced Grip Gloves
10. Mental Fatigue Delay
All stacked. All practical.
No bullshit.
---
Pulls 11–15
11. Improvised Weapon Mastery
12. Minor Regeneration
13. Stealth Bonus in Chaos Zones
14. Chakra Reinforcement (Body)
15. Shadow Storage (Small)
Osamu exhaled slowly.
"I'm not immortal," he said. "But I'm not dying to East Blue."
---
Pulls 16–20
16. Fear Response Suppression
17. Combat Roll Instinct
18. Clone Coordination Boost
19. Spatial Awareness (Short Range)
Then—
20. Legendary: Shadow Authority Core
Osamu's breath caught.
This wasn't a technique.
It was permission.
The system didn't explain it. It didn't need to.
Osamu knew.
"…Fifteen," he whispered. "I can do fifteen."
The world snapped back into motion.
Sound rushed in like a tide.
---
"—and then I'll cut you loose," Luffy was saying happily.
Zoro squinted at him. "You're an idiot."
Osamu laughed out loud.
Both of them turned.
"Man," Osamu said, walking closer, "you two really sell the 'reliable pirate' image."
Zoro raised an eyebrow. "Who're you?"
"Future regret," Osamu replied. "Nice swords."
Zoro smirked despite himself.
The Marines moved.
Chaos erupted exactly like the manga—but Osamu didn't watch passively.
He stepped aside, snapped his fingers once.
Fifteen clones exploded out around him, scattering like shadows slipping between light.
Not dramatic.
Efficient.
Marines shouted. Guns went missing. Keys vanished. Pouches emptied. Someone screamed about their coat being gone.
Osamu leaned against a wall, hands in his pockets, watching.
"Wow," Luffy said, eyes sparkling. "You multiply!"
"Budget version," Osamu said. "Try not to get shot."
Zoro cut through the chaos with sharp precision, exactly as he should.
Canon held.
Then came the orange hair.
Nami leaned against a railing, clapping slowly.
"Well," she said brightly, "you boys are interesting."
Osamu looked at her.
Not carefully.
Not suspiciously.
Casually.
"You're a thief," he said.
Nami blinked. "Excuse me?"
"You watch fights for openings. You count weapons. And you smiled when the Marines panicked," Osamu continued. "You're not here for justice."
Luffy gasped. "You're a thief?!"
Nami laughed. "Wow. Straight to the point."
Osamu stepped closer, lowering his voice just enough.
"We're good pirates," he said.
Nami tilted her head. "There's no such thing."
"We don't burn towns," Osamu said. "We don't sell people. And we loot worse pirates than us."
Zoro snorted. "That's a low bar."
Nami's eyes flicked to the clones. To the weapons. To Luffy's grin.
"…Buggy," Osamu added.
Her smile sharpened.
"So," she said slowly, "you're heading straight into trouble."
Osamu shrugged. "We survive."
Nami laughed, bright and fake and calculating.
"Fine," she said. "I'll join."
Luffy cheered.
Nami leaned in, whispering only Osamu could hear.
"I'll use you," she said.
Osamu smiled back.
"I know."
