The following two days were normal for Liam as he spent most of his time working in the lab to finish up his research thesis. A repetitive, quiet routine of just checking figures and meeting his professor to finalise the work with the adrenaline of the concert fading alongside it.
During those days, he and Ryan exchanged a few texts, mostly casual check-ins. Liam mentioned he was heading to his family home sometime during the week, and Ryan had replied with leaving for his in a few days as well.
The only real change in Liam's routine was reaching up to adjust his hair and his fingers brushing the black strap holding the ponytail. It had become a permanent glue on his wrist or hair since the concert, finding it more convenient than his usual ones
