Chapter 116: Senbonzakura Ability Enhancement
Naval Headquarters, Marineford.
This particular training ground had been abandoned for some time. It was once the domain of the Marine recruits, specifically under the tutelage of "Black Arm" Zephyr. Since Zephyr left the Marines, the facility had fallen into disuse. Sengoku had no time for recruit training, Garp had no interest in such structured discipline, and the three Admirals were far too busy with their own duties.
Now, however, the deserted grounds were occupied by Yuichi.
Scarlet Chakra, the ominous energy of the One Tail, flowed from his body. Yuichi needed to acclimate to the Tailed Beast's power and determine if it could be synchronized with his Zanpakutō to enhance his combat capabilities.
The crimson Chakra surged, coating the blade of his Zanpakutō. The snow-white steel turned a scorching red, resembling iron heated in a forge.

With a casual wave of the sword, Yuichi sliced through the air. The Chakra-infused blade was terrifyingly sharp; cutting through solid rock felt as effortless as slicing through tofu. The sword energy released by the slash manifested as a streak of crimson light.
"It feels different from Haki, but the effect is similar," Yuichi muttered.
He slashed again. This time, the red light deepened to a dark crimson hue.

A fissure, significantly longer than the previous one, tore through the earth. He had used the same amount of physical force, yet the destructive power had doubled.
"The combination of Haki and Chakra makes the slash more potent."
Yuichi prepared for a third strike.

A piercing roar echoed across the training ground. This time, the power more than doubled again. With the exact same swing and angle, he left a twenty-meter-long gouge in the ground.
"When the three powers—Reiatsu, Haki, and Chakra—are combined, the explosive output is exponentially higher."
Yuichi looked down at the Zanpakutō in his hand, analyzing the synergy. While the combination created a devastating slash, each force retained its unique characteristics.
Reiatsu behaved like a gas; it covered a wide area and spread easily over great distances. Chakra was more akin to a liquid, flowing with a medium viscosity. Haki, however, was distinct. To Yuichi, it felt the most solid and flowed the slowest, making it the hardest to control. Yet, Haki provided the most significant boost to raw attack and defense. Chakra came second, and Reiatsu provided the least physical reinforcement.
However, because Yuichi's Reiatsu density had been enhanced twenty-fold by the System, his defensive capability using Reiatsu alone was still astonishing. He concluded that while he would use all three, Reiatsu would serve as his foundation, with Chakra and Haki acting as force multipliers depending on the situation.
Having tested the offensive enhancement, Yuichi moved on to his next experiment: Wind Style.
As the Jinchūriki of Shukaku, he theoretically possessed the ability to manipulate wind.

When Yuichi attempted to summon the wind, a whirlwind abruptly entangled his Zanpakutō, forming a sheath of turbulent air around the blade. Yuichi narrowed his eyes and tried to project a wind blade from his palm, but nothing happened.
"It seems impossible to control the wind directly without the sword."
If he knew Ninjutsu, he could likely release Wind Style techniques with ease. The problem was, he wasn't a ninja. He had the fuel (Chakra) and the affinity, but not the engine (Hand Signs/Jutsu).
"I can't manipulate the wind directly... which means Magnet Style is also out of the question for direct casting."
He gripped his hilt.
"Scatter, Senbonzakura."
The blade dissolved into a thousand tiny fragments, scattering like cherry blossoms in the wind. Immediately after activating his Shikai, Yuichi felt a shift. He began to understand the application of the One Tail's Magnet Style.
The flying speed of the Senbonzakura fragments increased drastically, as if the blades were magnetically attracting and repelling each other to accelerate. In his perception, the falling 'petals' formed an invisible, interconnected net. He could feel the precise location of every single shard.
This was surprising. Typically, with Shikai, one controlled the flow of the blades as a mass. It was impossible to micromanage the angle and trajectory of every single fragment among the thousands. But now, with the blessing of Magnet Style, the petals were not only faster but individually controllable.
He could adjust the attack angle of specific fragments, creating a multidirectional assault that was impossible to dodge. Furthermore, the fragments themselves seemed capable of generating small wind blades. By clustering the petals, the micro-wind blades coalesced into a massive, invisible cutting force.
Because this wind contained Chakra, it possessed the potential to harm Logia users. While the density might not be enough to be fatal immediately, it would absolutely bypass their elemental intangibility to cause damage.
"This enhances Senbonzakura's combat power several times over," Yuichi noted.
If an enemy stepped into his domain now, he could launch long-distance wind cuts or shred them with precision-guided blades from any blind spot.
"Return."
Yuichi sheathed Senbonzakura. If the Shikai was this strong, he could only imagine the terror of his Bankai. The Tailed Beast Chakra had brought more surprises than expected.
"Now, time to try one last thing. Tailed Beast Bomb."
Yuichi raised his hand, intending to condense the Chakra into a sphere. However, his Zanpakutō began to vibrate violently. Frowning, he drew the sword again.
The moment the blade was unsheathed, the dense Chakra naturally gathered along the edge.
"Even the Tailed Beast Bomb can only be released through the Zanpakutō?"
As the energy condensed, Yuichi realized something was off. The composition of the energy was changing.
"This... this isn't a Tailed Beast Bomb!"
