Chapter 9 - Great Continent War

Lin Yang walked out of the cultivation chamber and enter into his bedroom. He see Mu Rongyi still sleeping on the jade bed.

Lin Yang's gaze just wondering upon his naked figure, but just then a voice disturb his mood.

"Ahem."

A teasing voice came from the side.

Lin Yang look at the another figure in his room. 'So it was Elder Zhou who was leaning casually against the window frame.'

She folded her arms under her chest, and her eyes sweeping between Lin Yang and the woman on the bed with a knowing smile.

"Oh?" she said lightly. "I came at the wrong time?"

Lin Yang's smile become much wider as he come close to her. "Elder Zhou enjoys entering rooms unannounced now?"

She laughed softly and took a step closer. Her voice dipping to a whisper.

"I was worried that you'd be busy. After all…" her eyes flicked to Mu Rongyi once again, "…Saint Lin's bed is certainly not lonely these days."

"I little brother is still missing a mature pussy."

Lin Yang wrap his hand around her waist and grope her ass with second hand. He push his lips around her ear and said in a low voice.

"Mmm?" Elder Zhou moan softly as she blushed slightly. Her eyes shining with mischief. "Well, then you must be practicing cultivation through dreams, I suppose."

He inhaling the sweet scent of her perfume, and pressing his lips against her soft plump lips.

Elder zhou could not help but moan. Her hands gripped his shoulder blades tightly as she was losing control of her actions. She could feel his hand on her ass and his other hand sliding up her moist panties. His fingers parting the swollen lips of her pussy.

His hands were quick and expertly stroking her erect clit, and his mouth was pressed against hers. She could taste the salty sweetness of his saliva.

She was on fire now, her heart beating strongly as her body lost in desire.

"Please stop, Saint! I have important thing!" she cried out to attempting break free.

"So what?" he grinned as licked on her earlobe. "I will taste your mature pussy first."

"Its from sect elders" the head maid trembled.

Lin Yang moved his attention elsewhere. "Did they decide to gift this mature pussy to me."

Her face became slightly more serious—though the smile never fully left her face.

"The Sect Master is calling you in elder assembly. Immediately."

Lin Yang frowned, as his hands stop for a moment. "For what reason?"

"I don't know. But this is something important enough that even all elders meeting is going in meeting hall. You should go now."

That caused the face of Lin Yang to tighten.

The core elders did not often all get together unless it was a question of something important in the sect or a variable that might unsettle it.

He looked back at Elder Zhou and pulled away his body from hers. He then leaned down and whispered softly into her ear.

"After i will come back, remember what i said you. On your fours."

Elder Zhou blushed to the ears, her eyes flickering briefly before she turned away. "Come. Don't keep them waiting."

Moments later, the two figures soared into the sky.

The Sect Master Peak rose like a divine pillar.

Its slopes were steep, wrapped in flowing clouds and phoenix-shaped spiritual formations. Every inch radiated authority of divine might. Ancient pavilions build on the mountainside, and rare spirit cranes circled above and crying softly.

At the summit, it stood a vast and magnificent hall.

The Phoenix Sovereign Hall.

Just as Lin Yang stepped inside, he notice the slightly tensed atmosphere.

Sect Master Zhi is sitting on the highest seat, a red phoenix throne. She wore phoenix-patterned red gown, that highlight her mature beauty. Her beauty is cold, yet overwhelming. Her presence alone pressed down like a silent domain.

On both sides of the hall, twenty or so elders sitting on neatly arranged seats.

Lin Yang knew that sect's elders were divided into four ranks. From lowest rank Outer Sect Elders that managing external affairs of sect, then Inner Sect Elders, Core Elders and Supreme Elders.

The Supreme Elders had not appeared in most time, each one an existence that could suppress heaven and earth. In their absence, Core Elders has authority to manage everything in sect. You have to know that minimum cultivation for Core Elder is Saint rank.

And these present twenty core elders are most top of their cultivation and power.

Lin Yang's eyes swept across them calmly.

Of the twenty or so elders, more than half were women—some mature and dignified, others cold and sharp, a few radiating a quiet dangerous charm. Their gazes examined him openly, without concealment.

Sect Master Zhi spoke first.

"Lin Yang, step forward."

As he stood at the center of the hall, several elders nodded.

"Such deep foundation…"

"He reached Soul Transformation Realm so soon, yet his aura is stable."

"Ancient Blood Dragon bloodline, Heavenly Physique… terrifying combination."

One female elder smiled faintly. "If he doesn't fall, he will reach unimaginable heights."

Lin Yang remained composed, neither arrogant nor humble.

So these are the true pillars of the sect, he thought.

Sect Master Zhi's gaze sharpened slightly as she looked at him.

She said calmly, "You have breakthrough, not bad."

The great hall was plunged into a heavy silence.

The Sect Master Zhi's eyes swept through the gathering of elders before coming back to Lin Yang. Her voice relaxed slightly, losing a bit of its commanding tone.

"Originally," she said slowly, "this mission was not meant for you."

"A mission?" he asked calmly.

One of the main elders spoke up then, her voice firm. "We planned on sending someone else—to someone who was disposable if needed."

Another elder nodded in agreement. "You are a Saint Son. With such prestige, ability, and prospects, the most secure option would have been to stay in the sect to cultivate."

The Sect Master gazed intently at Lin Yang.

"if you decide to stay within the sect and not get yourself into trouble, then not one of us will complain."

The intent was clear. At this stage, they were not eager to take risks with him either.

Lin Yang stood there for a brief moment before asking, "What is the mission?"

Sect Master Zhi's eyes became somewhat sharper.

"Do you know of about Great war of continents?"

Lin Yang nodded. "I have read some fragments in the library. In ancient times, many races clashed for supremacy. Humans and demons fought one of the greatest wars among them."

"That is correct," Sect Master Zhi said. "But what you read is only the surface."

She paused then spoke words that weighed like mountains. The elders' expressions grew solemn.

"One hundred thousand years ago, countless powerful experts perished in great war." she continued. "Saints fell like rain. Emperors bled. Even our Heavenly Phoenix Sect suffered devastating losses."
