AUTHOR'S NOTE

Hi everyone,

So… this is my very first book, and I just wanted to talk to you for a bit before the story starts. You don't have to read this if you don't want to, you can jump straight into Chapter 1 but I figured it might help some of you understand the world better.

The story takes place in an apocalyptic world where normal life suddenly collapses and people are forced to survive through deadly trials called scenarios. It's harsh, chaotic, and not the kind of world anyone would want to live in but that's exactly what makes it interesting.

Our main character isn't some born genius or invincible hero. He's just someone who happens to adapt quickly when everything goes wrong. Along the way, he awakens a special Hero Summoning System, which becomes his greatest tool for survival.

This system allows him to summon heroes of different ranks (don't worry — I'll explain the ranking system in a later sub-chapter). It also guides him, helps him grow stronger, and pushes him forward in this cruel new reality.

The apocalypse runs on what are called Scenarios which are basically survival objectives given to everyone. You either complete them… or you suffer the consequences, which can include death. There are Main Scenarios and Sub Scenarios, and I'll go deeper into how they work later.

These scenarios are created by beings called Scenario Architects. They oversee different regions of humanity and watch how people struggle, survive, or fail. To them, this is more like entertainment than tragedy.

The people trapped in this apocalypse are called Players. Each player has certain skills, talents, or abilities that might help them stay alive. Some of them are ordinary… others are not so ordinary.

Then there are the Celestial Backers — higher beings who tune in to watch the chaos. Sometimes, if they find a player interesting enough, they might form a contract with them and offer support.

All of this is regulated by an organization called the Streaming Bureau, which controls the Scenario Architects and their activities.

This note is just a little preview of what you're getting into. I'll still make a separate sub-chapter explaining the ranks properly.

I'm also completely open to your thoughts and ideas about the novel, feel free to comment, criticize, or suggest anything. I'm still learning as a writer.

If you enjoy the story, I'd really appreciate it if you added it to your library, voted, and left a review. Your support means a lot to me.

Thanks for giving this story a chance. See you in the chapters!

Axzell 🙂
