Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 2: Should I start selling them?

February 1485 of the Sea Calendar

North Blue

Swallow Island

4-year-old Raeven and Mihawk can be seen sparring on the beach; both of them are shirtless, using bamboo swords while they spar.

"Your swordsmanship is improving fast," Raeven said as he blocked another swing.

"But it's still far from touching you, brother," Mihawk said as he pulled back and started attacking again.

For the past year the two of them began island hopping while visiting sword dojos from island to island. After defeating everyone in the dojo, the two of them will leave and continue searching for more dojos on the other islands. While Mihawk is challenging the dojos, Raeven is quietly making some eternal log poses for each island they visit and listing every local specialty. In the future he wants to have a large vineyard and make the best liquor in this world.

After the sparring, the two of them started to prepare for their meal. Raeven is in charge of cooking, while Mihawk is in charge of preparing the meat and vegetables. While Mihawk is chopping some meat, Raeven is reading the newspaper.

"Roger and Rocks' pirates clashed, so those two groups met, huh? But there is no clear winner. The God Valley war is approaching soon. The era of Rocks will end, and Roger's era will begin," he said as he placed the newspaper on the table. After preparing the meat and vegetables, Mihawk washed and wiped his hands to read the newspaper, and Raeven began to cook.

"Brother, who do you think is stronger, Roger's pirates or the Rocks?" Mihawk asked while looking at the newspaper.

"The Rocks group is no joke: Whitebeard, Golden Lion, Big Mom, Ochoku, Captain John, and Silver Axe. That's a lineup that can contend with the current marines. Roger's pirates are strong, but they are outclassed by the Rocks," Raeven answered while placing the huge pot on his makeshift cooking stool.

"Then what about Rocks D. Xebec?" Mihawk added.

"That's the current strongest swordsman in this era, an absolute monster. Just look at the things he did: killing a Celestial Dragon, then killing an Admiral, then recruiting those monsters. If those monsters in the world government don't move, then no one can kill that man," Raeven said as he sat down beside Mihawk.

"Are those officials in the World Government really strong?" Mihawk asked in doubt.

"Some of them are strong; how can they rule for 800 years without strength to back it up?" Raeven said, then he saw a picture of Shakky.

"Hoh, this Miss Shakuyaku is really good-looking, huh? So that's why every man on the sea simps on her so hard," Raeven added.

"This woman? What's good with her? Your scythe is more beautiful, brother," Mihawk said while looking at Silence.

"I won't give it to you; sooner or later we will look for a sword worthy of your dream, and you should fix your attitude a little. How can we build our Dracule family up if you act like that?" Raeven said as he sighed. "This kid's brain is all about swordsmanship and swords; he won't even play with the other kids."

"Keep reading the news, and tell me if something interesting caught your eye; after all, knowledge is power."

After that, Mihawk challenged the local swordsmanship dojos on Swallow Island, and it took him a month to defeat them all.

"Sign-in system"

*DING* [Congratulations to the host for surviving another year. Keep staying alive. Sign-in rewards: Unlimited Supply of Enhanced Senzu Beans]

When Raeven saw this, his smile was so wide he nearly tore his face. He and Mihawk didn't suffer from any injury or sickness at all, but having backup medicine is always good.

[Enhanced Senzu Beans, can heal anything and will restore the stamina of anyone who consumes this to their peak]

"Can these Senzu Beans regenerate limbs or even body parts, and can I give them to others?" Raeven asked.

[Yes, host, as long as the consumer is not dead, it will restore them to their peak; the enhanced Senzu Beans can even cure scars from old wounds and even genetically acquired diseases.]

"Whahahahahaha, if I sell these beans, then forget about hunting pirates and borrowing their treasures; we're going to make it big," Raeven said in his mind, and then he quickly grew silent.

"No, I must not do that. We're still weak, and I didn't even awaken any kind of Haki yet. Mihawk is already doing a high-profile dojo challenge. We must endure it, and hunting down pirates and getting their treasures is good training too."

Yes, Raeven no longer fishes to make money; he and Mihawk are pirate treasure confiscators now, as the two of them are still weak and can't expose themselves yet. The two of them only kill pirates who took their treasures and never claim the bounty on their heads. Raeven is a very cautious individual.

"Mihawk, we're almost done exploring North Blue. Sadly, the Germa Kingdom is currently hiding, and I can't get anything useful to track them down," Raeven said as he looked at Mihawk.

"Then we should head to the other Blues too, just like what you planned before, brother," Mihawk said.

"Then pack up; we're going to West Blue, where mafias are the hype," Raeven said.

"Are there strong swordsmen there in West Blue?" Mihawk asked as he looked at his sword.

"Truthfully I'm not sure either, but if you are lucky, the mafia family there might pose a challenge to you," Raeven said with a smile. Then he whistled; a zooming patch of cloud excitedly headed towards them. It even did a sharp drift and a donut before stopping at their front.

"Yo, Strife! That's a nice entrance. If you can say beep beep, then I'll rate you 100/10," Raeven said as he placed the things on the Nimbus Cloud that he named Strife.

"I think it's still better if we name him Cotton Candy," Mihawk said.

"Cotton candy? We're both guys, and you want us to ride cotton candy? And what do you know, naming it Strife is the best; even it approves it, right?" Raeven said as Strife bobs up and down.

"See? Well, what can I do to you? You're the only person I know that would name their sword Simple Sword," Raeven added.

"What's wrong about doing that? This sword is really just a simple sword," Mihawk refuted.

"As expected, even in the future he didn't have a named attack; his naming sense is on the level of Minato," Raeven said in his mind. He just sighed.

"Come on, let's head to West Blue; I have some interesting places I want to visit there," Raeven said, and then Mihawk jumped and sat down too.

"What place?" Mihawk asked.

"Well, that's a secret for now," Raeven said as he smiled, and Strife took off.

2 days later

West Blue Sea

A flying white cloud can be seen above the sea, and its speed is fast. On board are two men; one of them is currently sitting while eating donuts and milk, while the other one is fast asleep.

Suddenly in the horizon, the kid who is eating saw an island and a silhouette of a ship.

"Brother, land ahead, and by the looks of it, they're under attack by a pirate crew," the kid said.

"You can handle them; I'll jump in if something unexpected happens," the man lying on the cloud said. The kid just nodded and hurried up eating his donuts and his cup of milk, then he took his simple-looking katana with him.

"Boss, a flying cloud is approaching us, and it's very fast." As the pirate ship came ashore on the beach, one of the pirates said to his captain.

"It's noon, and you're still dreaming. Next time we drink, you're banned," the captain said, then he looked at the horizon only to see a 4-year-old kid stepping down from a flying cloud.

"Motherfucker..." he said as his eyes grew wide.

"Boys, looks like we have a visitor, and his flying cloud looks good. Kid, give me your flying cloud, and maybe I'll spare you Gragragragra," the captain said as he unsheathed his sword. The members of his crew did the same thing and started to encircle the kid.

"5 minutes; if you can't finish them off in 5 minutes, then forget dessert this evening," the man lying on the cloud said.

"If I can't finish them off in that time, then I won't eat sweets for 2 days," the kid said.

"Gragragragra, what arrogant words coming from 2 brats. I am the captain of the Graves Pirates, Mad Sword Graves, with a bounty of 30 million beli," Graves said as he took a pose.

"Boys, slay them; whoever gets that flying cloud will be given a million beli," he added as the pirates started to attack.

A few minutes later, only dead bodies can be seen around, a total of 60 pirates dead together with their captain.

"Not bad, Mihawk; you took 4:50 seconds to clean them up. Looks like you're eating dessert this evening." Raeven looked at his watch, then he stepped down from the cloud.

"Mad Sword Graves, a bounty of 30 million beli, known for kidnap and ransom tactics, banditry, and killing 4 small towns. The marines in this sea really are lax," he added as he looked at the dead pirates, and he, together with Mihawk, headed to their ship.

"As usual, go and check the lower decks, especially their food supply and treasure hoards. I'll go to the captain's quarters," Raeven said to Mihawk as the two of them split up.

Raeven headed to the captain's quarters, and what he found made him smile.

"Jackpot"
