Rhaella moved so fast she nearly fell off the desk.
She scrambled backward, her bare feet slipping on the wood as she reached for the gown pooled on the floor beside the chair, her face burning a shade of crimson that started at her hairline and ran all the way down her neck and across her chest. Her hands were shaking so badly that she grabbed the dress inside-out on the first attempt and had to flip it around while making small panicked sounds in the back of her throat.
By the time she managed to haul it up over her hips and pull it over her shoulders she had put her left arm through the neck hole and had to start the entire process over again.
Arthur, meanwhile, was engaged in a battle with his own breeches. The laces had somehow knotted themselves during the proceedings and his fingers, which could unlock a door in the dark and catch an arrow out of the air, had apparently decided that this was the one fine motor task they were going to fail at tonight.
He hauled the breeches up to his waist and held them there with one hand while he turned to face his wives with what he hoped was an expression of pure composure.
It was not.
It was the expression of a man who had been caught with his trousers literally around his ankles.
Mira and Cassie were both looking at him with their arms crossed in perfect synchronisation.
"I can explain," Arthur said.
Mira's left eyebrow rose approximately one inch.
"It is not... well, it is exactly what it looks like, but there is context, and the context is—"
"Context," Mira repeated.
"Yes. Context. You see, she came in to tell me that she was going to go back to King's Landing, and she was crying, and I told her she did not have to go back, and then she was very grateful, and—"
"And you then you bent her over your desk."
"That is... not inaccurate. But there were emotions involved on both sides. Which led to a natural, ah, progression of—"
"Arthur Pendragon." Mira snapped. "You are an absolute fiend when it comes to women. Is there a single woman in the known world who is truly safe from you. First you seduced poor Cassie." She gestured to her right.
Cassie nodded solemnly. "I was an innocent girl from an orphanage. Completely defenceless against his seduction."
"Completely defenceless," Mira echoed. "And now you have seduced a princess of the royal blood. I mean honestly, Arthur, the ink is still wet on some of those letters, they are going to have her arse-print on them now, what am I supposed to do with—"
"It was my fault."
Rhaella's voice came from behind Arthur. She had finally gotten the dress on the right way around, though the laces at the back were still hanging loose, and she stepped out from behind the desk with her silver hair in complete disarray, her face still burning and her hands clasped in front of her.
"It was my fault, Mira. I came in here and I, I threw myself at him. He did not seduce me, I kissed him first, I was the one who started it, and I am so sorry, I know that you and Cassie brought me here to keep me safe and I have repaid your kindness by, by sleeping with your husband... I am so ashamed of myself, I—"
Mira sighed.
She crossed the solar and wrapped her arms around Rhaella and pulled the princess against her chest in a hug that Rhaella clearly had not been expecting, as the silver-haired woman went stiff with surprise before she melted into it.
"Rhaella, dear. It is all right."
"It is not all right, Mira, I have done something terrible, I have betrayed your trust and I—"
"Rhaella. Listen to me." Mira pulled back just enough to look the princess in the face, her hands resting on Rhaella's upper arms. "I know how you feel about Arthur. I have known for months."
Rhaella stared at her with her mouth slightly open.
Cassie stepped forward and put her hand on Rhaella's shoulder from the other side. "We are surprised it did not happen sooner, to be perfectly honest. The two of you have been circling each other like cats around a fish for the better part of a year. It was getting painful to watch."
Arthur, who was still standing behind the desk holding his breeches up with one hand, leaned forward very carefully.
"Are you angry..." he asked a little nervously.
Mira looked at him over Rhaella's shoulder. Her expression was the complicated mixture of exasperation and affection and resigned amusement.
"You could have at least come to your wives first," she said. "It has been two months, Arthur. Two months. And we arrive at your island and instead of spending the first night in your arms the way I have been imagining for eight weeks, I find you buried inside another woman."
"I'm sorry."
"You should be."
"But you are not angry."
Mira let out another long breath. "No, Arthur. I am not angry. And neither is Cassie."
"Why."
Cassie answered for both of them. "Because Rhaella is our sister, Arthur. Not by blood, but by everything that matters more than blood. She held our hands when we gave birth. She sat with us when you were fighting on the beach. She has been part of our family for a while now, we love her, and we want her to be happy."
Cassie paused and her mouth curved slightly.
"And she is happy with you. That much has been obvious for a very long time."
Rhaella's composure broke completely.
She let out a small choked sound and pulled both women against her, one arm around Mira and one around Cassie, she buried her face between their shoulders and wept in relief. "Thank you," she whispered. "Thank you, thank you, I do not deserve either of you, I do not deserve any of this."
"You deserve all of it," Mira said softly.
"Every bit of it," Cassie added.
Arthur watched the three of them hold one another, the princess and the farmer's daughter and the orphan from Flea Bottom, three women from three different worlds who had somehow found each other and found family.
He smiled.
Then he stepped around the desk, having finally managed to lace his breeches properly, and wrapped his arms around all three of them. Mira leaned back against his chest. Cassie tucked herself under his right arm. Rhaella pressed her face against the front of his shoulder.
"Regardless," Arthur said eventually, "I should not have done it without talking to both of you first. That was wrong. No matter how things felt in the moment, you deserved to know before it happened, not after. I am sorry."
Mira reached up and patted his cheek without looking at him. "Apology accepted. This time."
Cassie lifted her head and looked at Rhaella with a sly glint in her green eyes. "So. Since you and Arthur have clearly been busy, does that mean there is good news."
Arthur chuckled. "I would not call it good news exactly. But yes. I have decided. I am not sending her back."
Mira and Cassie both pulled back to look at him and they both looked relieved. Mira's eyes glistened and she pressed her hand against his chest over his heart, and Cassie let out a long shuddering breath and turned to Rhaella and pulled the princess into another fierce hug.
"You are staying," Cassie whispered against Rhaella's ear.
Rhaella's eyes overflowed again and she gripped Cassie's arms and nodded rapidly, unable to speak.
"It won't be easy," Arthur said. "I don't have a plan yet and I don't know how to make this work without bringing the crown down on us. But I will figure it out. I always do."
Rhaella wiped her eyes with shaking hands and looked at him with an expression that was so full of gratitude and love and sheer disbelief that it made his chest ache. "Thank you, Arthur. I will never be able to repay you for this."
Mira slipped her arm through Rhaella's and squeezed. "Well, she has to stay now regardless. She is one of Arthur's girls now."
The blush that climbed Rhaella's face was visible even in the dim candlelight, a deep crimson flush that spread from her cheeks to her ears to the top of her chest, and she opened her mouth to protest and then closed it again without managing a single word.
"Speaking of which," Cassie said.
Her voice had changed.
She rose up onto her toes and pressed her mouth against the bare skin of his chest where the open collar of his tunic had fallen aside, a kiss that she dragged upward along his collarbone.
"It has been two months, my love," she murmured against his skin. "Two months since I have had my husband. And I am not waiting any longer."
Mira's hand tightened on Arthur's arm and when he turned to look at her she had the same expression on her face.
"She is right," Mira said simply. "Bed. Now."
Arthur did not need to be told twice.
He let Mira take his right hand and Cassie take his left, and the two of them pulled him toward the door of the solar. He went willingly, his body already responding to the the promise in their eyes.
Rhaella stood alone in the middle of the solar, watching them go with her arms wrapped around herself and a look on her face that was caught somewhere between longing and uncertainty.
Cassie stopped at the door and looked back over her shoulder.
"What are you doing just standing there."
Rhaella blinked. "I... I thought..."
Cassie released Arthur's hand and walked back across the solar and took Rhaella's wrist in and pulled the princess forward. "If you are going to be with Arthur now, then you are with all of us. That is how this works. We share everything, Rhaella. Everything. Now come on."
Rhaella's blush reached depths previously uncharted by the human face, but she did not resist.
The four of them walked down the corridor to the lord's chambers together.
Arthur opened the door and the room beyond was warm from the hearth fire that had been stoked earlier in the evening.
Mira turned to face him the moment the door closed.
She reached up and pulled the leather tie out of her hair and shook it loose, the wheat-gold waves tumbling down around her shoulders and her back. Then she took the hem of her gown in both hands and pulled it up over her head in a single smooth motion and dropped it on the floor beside her feet.
Arthur's breath left him.
Two months apart had done nothing to diminish the effect she had on him. She stood before him in the candlelight in nothing but her smallclothes, her body fuller than it had been before the twins, her hips wider and her waist softer and her breasts so large that her linens barely contained them. She was magnificent. She had always been magnificent, from the very first time he had seen her, but motherhood had turned something that was already beautiful into something that was devastating.
She reached behind her back and untied the lacing of her smallclothes and let them fall.
Arthur stared.
Her breasts hung heavy in tear drop shapes, the pink nipples already stiffening. The curve of her belly was gentle and round from carrying the twins and he loved every inch of it. Between her thighs a thick patch of dark blonde curls glistened slightly in the firelight.
"Stop staring and come here," she said.
He crossed the distance in two steps and took her face in his hands and kissed her, tasting the wine she had drunk at the feast. Her hands came up to his chest and she worked the tunic off his shoulders and down his arms and then her palms were on his bare skin, sliding down over his stomach and finding the laces of his breeches again.
Behind him, he heard the rustle of fabric as Cassie undressed.
He turned his head slightly without breaking the kiss with Mira and saw Cassie stepping out of her gown. Her body was leaner than Mira's, narrow-hipped and slender-waisted, her breasts small and firm with dark nipples that stood out against her pale skin. The dark curls between her thighs were thicker than Mira's, a dense patch of black that matched the colour of the hair on her head. She caught Arthur looking and smiled at him with her green eyes half-lidded.
"Do not let me interrupt," she said.
And then there was Rhaella.
The princess stood near the door, still dressed, still blushing, still watching the three of them. Her hands were clasped in front of her and her fingers twisted against each other.
Mira broke the kiss with Arthur and turned to look at Rhaella. "Come here, sweet girl. No one is going to rush you. Come here."
Rhaella took a breath and walked across the chamber on bare feet. When she reached Mira the woman lifted her hands and began to unlace the back of her gown, working the ties loose one at a time while Cassie moved to Rhaella's other side and brushed the silver hair back from her neck. The gown loosened and slipped from Rhaella's shoulders, and Cassie eased it down over her hips until it pooled at her feet.
Rhaella stood naked between them, her skin flushed pink from her cheeks to her chest, her breasts pale and round with small rose-coloured nipples, and the neat triangle of silver-gold curls between her thighs.
She was trembling.
"You are beautiful," Cassie whispered, and kissed her cheek.
Mira took Rhaella's hand and led her toward the bed. Arthur followed, stripping the breeches off his hips as he walked, and by the time all four of them reached the great bed he was as naked as the rest of them and harder than he had been in months.
Mira climbed onto the bed first and settled against the cushions at the headboard, she opened her arms and pulled Arthur down against her. He went willingly, sinking into the warmth of her body, his mouth finding hers in a kiss that was two months overdue and carried every ounce of that separation behind it. Her legs opened for him and he settled between her thighs, the heat of her core pressing against his cock, she gasped into his mouth and rolled her hips upward.
"I missed you," she breathed. "I missed you so much, Arthur. I touched myself thinking about you every night."
"I am here now," he murmured against her throat, and then he kissed his way down from her jaw to her collarbone to the valley between her breasts. He cupped one massive breast in his hand and brought his mouth to the nipple, sucking gently while his thumb circled the other. Mira arched her back and moaned, her fingers threading through his hair and gripping.
"More. Harder."
He obeyed and sucked harder, his tongue flicking across the stiffened peak tasting some of her milk while his other hand slid down her body, over the swell of her belly and through the thick blonde curls until his fingers found the wet heat of her. She cried out when he touched her and her hips bucked against his hand.
While Arthur's mouth and hands worked on Mira, Cassie had positioned herself beside them on the bed and pulled Rhaella down with her. The princess lay on her side facing the dark-haired woman, their bodies close together, and Cassie reached out and traced the line of Rhaella's jaw with her fingertips.
"Watch," Cassie whispered. "Watch what he does to her. Learn what you like."
Rhaella watched.
Her violet eyes were wide and her breathing had gone shallow, Cassie's hand drifted down from her jaw to her collarbone to the curve of her breast, tracing light circles around the nipple until Rhaella shivered.
"Is this all right," Cassie asked softly.
"Yes," Rhaella breathed.
Cassie leaned in and kissed her.
Arthur looked up from Mira's breast in time to see his wife's mouth close over the princess's, and the sound that Rhaella made against Cassie's lips went straight through him like a bolt of lightning.
"Gods," he muttered.
"Focus," Mira growled, and pulled his head back down.
He focused.
His fingers stroked through her wetness, parting her folds and finding the sensitive bud at the top and circling it. Mira's moans grew louder and louder, her hips grinding against his hand, her fingers digging into his scalp. He worked her reading the shifts in her breathing and the changes in the sounds she made, adjusting his speed and pressure until she was trembling beneath him with her thighs clamped around his wrist and her whole body coiled tight.
"Inside me," she panted. "Now, Arthur, I cannot wait anymore, I need you inside me now."
He positioned himself at her entrance and pushed into her in a single thrust that drew a guttural moan from both of them simultaneously. She was hot and wet and tight around him, tighter than he remembered, and the two months of abstinence had left him so sensitive that the first full thrust nearly finished him on the spot. He gritted his teeth and held still for a moment, buried deep inside her, letting the initial overwhelming rush of sensation subside to something he could manage.
Then he began to move.
He set a deep rhythm, pulling almost all the way out before driving back in to the hilt, and Mira matched him stroke for stroke. Her legs wrapped around his waist and her heels pressed into the small of his back and she pulled him deeper with every thrust, her moans rising in pitch as he increased the pace.
"Yes, yes, oh gods, Arthur, yes, right there, do not stop, do not you dare stop—"
Beside them on the bed, Cassie had drawn Rhaella closer. The princess lay on her back now with Cassie's mouth at her throat, kissing and licking down the pale column of her neck while one hand cupped Rhaella's breast and squeezed gently. Rhaella's head was turned toward Arthur and Mira, watching them with glazed violet eyes, and her lips were parted and her chest was heaving and one of her hands had drifted down between her own thighs without her seeming to realise it.
Cassie noticed and caught Rhaella's wandering hand and gently moved it aside, replacing it with her own. Rhaella gasped when Cassie's fingers found her, a hitching sound that made her back arch off the mattress.
"Let me," Cassie murmured against her ear. "Just relax."
Rhaella's eyes fluttered shut and she let out a long trembling moan as Cassie's fingers began to move.
The sounds in the room layered over one another. Mira's cries. Rhaella's gasps. The wet sound of Arthur's body meeting Mira's.All of it braided together into something that filled the lord's chambers from wall to wall.
Mira came first.
She seized around him with a cry that she buried in his shoulder, her whole body locking up tight as the orgasm ripped through her. Arthur felt her clench around his cock in hard pulses and he had to grab the headboard behind her and bite down on his own lip to keep from following her over the edge. She shook beneath him for a long, long time, wave after wave rolling through her until she finally went limp against the pillows with her eyes closed and her chest heaving.
Arthur withdrew from her slowly, still painfully hard and throbbing, and Mira made a small whimpering sound of protest at the loss before she opened her eyes and looked at him with a dazed, satisfied smile.
"Go to Cassie," she whispered. "She needs you. I can see it."
Arthur turned.
Cassie was waiting for him.
She had pulled away from Rhaella and positioned herself on her hands and knees in the centre of the bed, her dark hair falling around her face and her slim body arched. She looked back over her shoulder at him with those green eyes burning.
"Two months, Arthur," she said. "I have been thinking about this exact moment for two months."
He moved behind her and gripped her narrow hips in both hands. The sight of her like this, the lean muscles of her back and the curve of her spine and the dark curls glistening between her thighs, made his cock throb almost painfully. He ran the head along her slick folds, teasing her entrance, and she pushed back against him impatiently.
"Do not tease me Arthur, I swear to every god—"
He thrust into her.
Cassie's arms buckled and she dropped to her elbows with a loud cry, her fingers fisting in the sheets. He filled her completely in a single stroke. He gripped her hips harder and began to move, setting a faster, rougher pace than he had used with Mira, because Cassie liked it that way.
"Harder," she gasped into the sheets. "Oh gods, harder, Arthur."
He gave her what she wanted. Each thrust drove her forward on the mattress and she braced her hands against the headboard to keep from sliding, her body jerking with every impact. The sounds coming from her were raw and animal like, the sounds of a woman who had been starving for this and was finally being fed.
While Arthur drove into Cassie, Mira had rolled onto her side and taken Rhaella's face in her hands and kissed her softly. The princess responded eagerly now, the last of her hesitation burned away by what she had been watching and what Cassie's fingers had done to her, and she kissed Mira back with a hunger that surprised both of them. Mira broke the kiss and moved her mouth down Rhaella's body, trailing wet open-mouthed kisses across her collarbone and down between her breasts, taking one rose-pink nipple between her lips and sucking until Rhaella moaned.
Then Mira moved lower.
Rhaella's eyes flew wide open.
"Mira, you do not have to—"
"I know I don't have to." Mira settled between Rhaella's thighs and looked up at her with a warm smile.
She lowered her mouth.
Rhaella's back arched off the bed and her hands flew to Mira's hair and her cry was loud enough that Arthur felt it vibrate through the room. He watched over Cassie's shoulder as Mira's tongue moved between Rhaella's thighs, and the sight combined with the tight wet grip of Cassie around his cock was almost more than he could bear.
Cassie came with a scream.
She buried her face in the pillows and her whole body convulsed around him, her inner muscles gripping and releasing in waves that milked his cock so hard he had to pull out to keep from finishing. She collapsed forward onto the mattress, trembling and gasping, and Arthur leaned down and pressed a kiss to the damp skin between her shoulder blades while she came down.
"I love you," he murmured against her back.
"I love you too," she managed weakly. "Now go and finish what Mira started. Rhaella sounds like she is about to lose her mind."
Arthur lifted his head.
Rhaella was indeed very close to losing her mind. She lay on her back with Mira's head between her thighs, her hands tangled in the golden hair, her hips rolling in helpless circles as Mira's tongue worked her. Her violet eyes were screwed shut and her mouth was open and the sounds she was making were somewhere beyond words.
Arthur moved across the bed and knelt beside her head. He leaned down and kissed her, swallowing the next moan before it could leave her throat, and Rhaella's hand came up and gripped the back of his neck.
She came against Mira's mouth with a cry that Arthur caught between his own lips, her body arching up off the mattress and her thighs clamping around Mira's head and her fingers digging into Arthur's scalp. The orgasm lasted a long time, longer than any of them had expected, and Rhaella rode it with her face pressed against Arthur's jaw and her whole body shaking like a plucked string.
When she finally went still, Mira lifted her head and wiped her chin with the back of her hand and gave Arthur a look that was supremely self-satisfied.
"Time for you to release." Mira said.
The three women repositioned themselves around him.
Mira pushed him flat on his back in the centre of the great bed and straddled his hips, and the weight of her settling over him and the heat of her pressing against his aching length made him groan. She took him in her hand and guided him inside her, sinking down onto him slowly, inch by inch, until she was fully seated with her palms on his chest and her breasts swaying with each breath.
She began to ride him.
Cassie crawled up beside him and took his face in her hands and kissed him while Mira moved on top of him. Rhaella appeared on his other side, still flushed and trembling from her own release, and she pressed her lips to his neck and his shoulder and his collarbone, her hands exploring his chest with the tentative fascination of a woman who was still learning the geography of a body she had only just been given permission to touch.
Mira rode him faster. Her moans had taken on the rising pitch that he recognised as the precursor to another climax, and her hips rolled and ground against him with an urgency that was driving him rapidly toward his own edge.
"I want to feel you come inside me," Mira gasped. "I need it, Arthur, give it to me, I need to feel you—"
He grabbed her hips and thrust up into her from below, meeting her downward motion with a force that made them both cry out. The sound of their bodies colliding filled the room, Cassie's mouth was on his and Rhaella's mouth was on his neck and Mira's body was tightening around him, and the pressure at the base of his spine built to a point where it simply could not be contained any longer.
Mira threw her head back and screamed, a full-throated sound that she made no attempt to muffle, and her body clamped down around him like a fist. Arthur followed her a heartbeat later, his hips driving up one final time as he released inside her with a groan that started in his chest and ended somewhere near the base of his skull. He felt himself pulse inside her, once, twice, three times, each one sending a wave of white-hot pleasure through his body that left his vision blurred and his limbs shaking.
Mira collapsed forward onto his chest, panting, their bodies still connected, and her hair fell around both of their faces in a golden curtain.
But the night was not over.
Cassie's hand was on his thigh, and Rhaella's hand was on his chest, and neither of them was finished with him.
They took turns.
Cassie rode him next while Mira lay beside them and stroked Rhaella's hair and whispered encouragement, and then Rhaella, flushed and trembling and brave, climbed onto him with Cassie guiding her hips. The feeling of the princess sinking down onto him for the second time that night drew a sound from both of them that they'd never made before.
He took Cassie from behind again because she begged him to, and he took Mira on her side with his chest pressed against her back and his arm wrapped around her waist, then he took Rhaella face to face with her legs wrapped around him and her forehead pressed against his and her violet eyes locked on his while she whispered his name over and over and over.
By the time the candles had burned down to stubs and the fire in the hearth had collapsed into a bed of glowing embers, the four of them were spent.
They lay tangled together in the great bed in a heap of bodies.
Arthur was on his back in the centre. Mira was curled against his right side with her head on his shoulder and one large breast pressed against his ribs,. Cassie was draped across his left side with her face tucked into the curve of his neck and one leg thrown over his thigh, her dark hair spread across the pillow behind her. And Rhaella lay half on top of him with her cheek pressed against the centre of his chest and her silver-gold hair fanned out over his stomach, her hand resting on the place where his heart beat beneath the skin.
Arthur looked up at the ceiling of the lord's chambers of Camelot.
His castle.
His island.
His family.
He closed his eyes, and for the first time in a very long time, the world felt like it was exactly the shape it was supposed to be.
(AN: So yeah not much happened but I feel like it's been a while since they've had sex so yeah. Anyway next chapter we back to Arthur figuring out how to not get destroyed by the King. Hope you enjoyed.)
