Hmm, speaking of which, I actually ran into an acquaintance here.
When Albert turned his head to sneak a bite of chocolate hard candy, he noticed Miss Field, whom he had met at the Transformers Club, sitting not far away.
The other person noticed his gaze and looked over, just in time to see Albert unwrapping a candy. He winked at him, seemingly wanting to laugh, but because they were still in the library, neither of them spoke.
Albert popped the hard candy into his mouth, picked up his paper, walked over, sat down next to Field, and quietly greeted him.
"Be careful not to get kicked out by Mrs. Pince," Field said, mouthing the words out.
"As long as no one sees us!" Albert handed the other a few hard candies, saying nonchalantly, "Besides, these are hard candies, no one will notice if you put them in your mouth. Do you want one too?"
"Speak, what do you want?" Field easily saw through Albert; if there was nothing wrong, he probably wouldn't have come looking for him.
That's right.
Albert pointed to the section on land reform on his parchment, and then explained his idea of copying and pasting text.
After he finished speaking, Albert noticed that Field, who was peeling candy, was looking at him with a strange expression.
She muttered softly, "How lazy must this person be to want to invent this kind of magic?"
"Laziness makes people more creative, doesn't it?" Albert winked at Field and continued, "The invention of spells was precisely to save trouble."
"You're amazing!" Field stared intently at Albert, wondering how the other could have the audacity to say such things to defend himself.
"However, I can't help you with your ideas. But, for the sake of this…" Field said, waving the candy wrapper, "I can tell you how to modify the text. Actually, the method is very simple: the Transmutation Charm, you know it?"
"Transfiguration Charm?" Albert carefully recalled the knowledge about Transfiguration Charms in his mind, and he suddenly realized that these guys in front of him were even better at showing off than he was.
The Transfiguration Charm is advanced Transfiguration knowledge, at the level of NEWT. While not as difficult as human transformation, learning the Transfiguration Charm is still no easy feat. Yet, in this senior's words, it's become incredibly simple?
Simple my ass!
At least, given Albert's current skill level, he definitely wouldn't be able to learn it by upgrading directly without using the control panel.
Although he was keeping his experience to himself, which was partly to deal with this aspect, Albert was still prepared to try to learn on his own in some areas, rather than relying directly on the panel.
If you develop a habit of relying on the panel, what will you do when your experience pool runs out? Although I may be a lazy bum, I still have my ideals, even if they are a bit ridiculous.
If you want to live comfortably in the future, you have to plan your life well.
"Like this…" Field tapped the wrong places on the parchment with the tip of his wand, turning them into other words. "This is a simple use of the Transmutation Charm. Professor McGonagall taught me this trick last semester."
"I'll practice this after I learn summoning magic."
"Professor McGonagall will probably teach this semester too, and you'll have a chance to learn it." Field glanced at Albert's spell paper and suddenly realized that this junior was much more impressive than she had imagined. Was this really the level of a first-year student?
Recalling the scene of writing her first paper, and comparing it with the past, she suddenly had the urge to tear the parchment to shreds.
But what was that thing written at the end?
"You wouldn't happen to want to join the Cursed Club too, would you?" Field looked up and asked with a strange expression.
"A cursed club?" Albert countered.
"Of course there are." For some reason, Field smiled with a hint of malice. "However, be careful not to overlap with the Transformers Club."
"What kind of expression is that?"
"nothing."
"By the way, Professor Flitwick must be very disappointed that you weren't assigned to Ravenclaw," Field suddenly said.
"Won't it all be the same no matter where we're assigned?" Albert replied without hesitation.
"That's true." Field pointed to the parchment and said, "If you ever actually invent this thing, remember to send me one. If it's too expensive, I can't afford it."
"Don't worry, I'll send you one the day I actually invent it!" Albert's lips twitched, and he muttered under his breath, "But it has to be inventable in the first place!"
"I suggest you take a look at some books on alchemy; you might actually succeed!" Field thought for a moment and said, "A magic lamp... I'm kind of looking forward to it!"
"Alchemy?" Albert murmured, the mention of alchemy reminding him of Nicolas Flamel.
Ancient alchemy probably refers to chemistry, right? What kind of thing would a wizard's alchemy be? Is it also chemistry?
Or is it something else?
Like a potion, is it a kind of magic?
After chatting with Field for a few more minutes, Albert packed his things and left. He planned to go back to his dormitory to rest for a while and then pack up the items he wanted to give to his family.
As for alchemy, I'll talk about it after I finish reading "Selected Nineteenth-Century Spells"!
Eat your food one bite at a time, or you might choke to death.
"Who was that just now?" Shanna asked curiously, following behind Albert. She had also overheard some of their conversation.
"Field, we're from the same club, she's really good at Transfiguration." Albert quickly organized his thoughts and continued, "I just asked her how to correct typos on parchment."
"You mean the Transfiguration Charm?" Shanna raised an eyebrow. "But that's NEWT's difficulty level!"
Do you know what NEWT is?
Shanna was also taken aback. Yes, what difficulty level is NEWT?
She really didn't know.
"A person should have dreams; if you don't dream, you'll never achieve them!"
"I just want to know what the difficulty level of NEWT is."
Albert sighed softly, "The ultimate wizarding exam in seventh grade."
Shanna's expression was a little blank, then she sighed softly and said, "Neither the ultimate wizard exam nor the Transfiguration Charm is too far away from me. Yes, too far away!"
He hasn't even learned a Transfiguration spell yet, how could he expect to learn a Transfiguration spell?
Wake up! Learn Transfiguration first; that's the most important thing right now.
Albert, realizing Shanna's problem, felt a little awkward and changed the subject, asking, "I'm going back to the lounge, shall we go together?"
"When are you free? Could you teach me Transfiguration?" Shanna realized a problem: although the Hogwarts curriculum was easy, completing homework and learning magic still depended on self-discipline. If she just drifted through graduation like this, she probably wouldn't learn any useful skills.
