Chapter 50 setup -almost-
Jay's POV
I woke in Keifer's arms... Again... I swear it's like clockwork... Wake up in his arms, get teased, get treated like a queen-or at least something like that- get annoyed by him, threaten him.... That's my whole day...
I can't belive almost two weeks passed... We are going back to the Philippines the day after tomorrow so that means we only have two full days to be here...
In these two weeks Alex and Honey got together, Keifer and I made up and now here I am in his arms...
Suddenly he hugged me from behind tightly like a koala... Then he pressed his chest to my back and buries his face in my neck
Keifer: Jay...
Jay: what?
Keifer: can you?
Jay: can I what?
Keifer: just stay here and let me hug you?
Jay: sure.... For how much time?
Keifer: an hour?
Jay: An hour?! Are you insane?
Keifer: what do you mean?
Jay: you know how many documents am I usually taking care of in an hour?
Keifer: around 50....
Jay: that's actually really accurate....
Keifer: babes... We are in the same industry...
Jay: what did you just call me?
Keifer: babes...
Jay: why?
Keifer: cuz you are my girlfriend, my little baby, my future Mrs. Watson and my queen
Don't melt Jay-Jay. Don't melt... You can't... He just came back to your life... With sweet talk and apologies....
Keifer: and I have another reason
Jay: for?
Keifer: being here in the bed hugging you for an hour
Jay: amd what is it?
Keifer: last time I asked this you said we are not on that level yet...
Jay: when did you ask what?
Keifer: I asked a few days ago...
Jay: and what did you ask for?
Keifer: for a glance

Keifer said pointing to my chest

Keifer: why?

Keifer said as he put his head back into my neck and pulled me flush against him...
Keifer: Jay...
Jay: yes?
Keifer: please come here properly...
Jay: what do you mean? I'm right here...
Keifer: face me please...
I did as he said and turned to face him. He pulled me closer as I snuggled into his chest, inhaling his scent. Then my phone started ringing
Ring ring
Jay: I swear...
Keifer: calm down. I'll get it for you...
Jay: thanks...
With that Keifer got up and went to the table to get my phone.
Jay: what's the contact name?
Keifer: Mr. Braselton... Who is that?
Jay: an investor...
Keifer: okay...
He said as he handed me the phone. I picked it up
On the call:
Mr Braselton: morning Ms. Mariano...
Jay: morning Mr. Braselton...
Mr. Braselton: I have a question.
Jay: yes?
Mr. Braselton: I was thinking if you would be intrested in dating... I have a son who is a year older...
Jay: no, but thank you for the offer Mr. Braselton...
Mr. Braselton: may I ask why Ms. Mariano?
The moment he said that Keifer shouted from the kitchen
Keifer: my dear wife breakfast will get cold if you don't come!
As a reaction Mr. Braselton immeadiatly hung up the phone, probably embarrased...
