Chapter 3 - 3

After that vile bastard called Aslan left, I sank back into the chair and began to think. What was I going to do now? How was I going to escape this damn house?I got up and looked out the window, looking for a way out, but there were guards everywhere. I'd be caught the moment I stepped outside. It was late, and I was very hungry. I needed to take my heart medication.Where was I going to find my medication here now? I walked slowly to the kitchen. The maid was humming a song and preparing a tray."I-I'm hungry; I was going to ask if there was anything." She turned to me with a deep smile, embarrassed by what I said. After all, it was my first time in a house.I couldn't be more comfortable."Here you are, Ms. Ahsen; I prepared it." She said sincerely, handing me the tray."I'm Ebru, by the way. Ms. Aslan assigned me to do anything. If you have any questions, please let me know." The woman said in a caring tone. She didn't look very old. She was almost the same age as me. She was a medium-height woman with green eyes. Her brown hair spilled over her shoulders. What was she doing with these dangerous men at such a young age? I liked this woman; she had a unique charm."Thank you, I'll let you know if I can," I said, taking my tray and going to the table in the living room. I sat in the front row seat and started eating. I couldn't even eat two mouthfuls because of the tension, but I forced myself to take my medication. After I finished eating, Ebru came in."Here are your heart medications, Ahsen Hanım," she said, holding boxes of medication."Thank you, but how do you know I'm taking medication?""Aslan Bey has strict instructions. Ahsen Hanım told me to give you your medication without fail."How did this man know I was taking medication? I started to feel really scared.I took the medication and drank it. When I looked at the clock, I saw that it was already quite late.I was actually sleepy, but I couldn't sleep with all this fear and tension.I'd had a tiring day today, and I had to pay attention to my sleep schedule for my heart condition. My medication was making me drowsy anyway. But where was I going to sleep? Besides, I wanted to go home. I have work tomorrow."Your room is upstairs, Ahsen Hanım. If you want, I can help you, but I'm not allowed to go up that floor." Ebru said, as if she'd read my mind.I turned to her and spoke."Thank you, Ebru, I'll go," I said, as sincerely as she did.I started up the stairs in the corner. It was a very large hallway. There were several rooms facing each other. At the end of the hallway, there was a door with a different door than the others. It was quite a distance away, but I saw that code.It was most likely the study, because they were usually code-coded.I entered through the first door. It was a large room, furnished almost entirely with black furniture. There was a double bed in the middle. I started exploring the room. I passed through another doorway. This was a dressing room, almost the same size as the room. There was a large glass coffee table in the middle. The walls were entirely made of closets. I went back out and entered the other door. This was the bathroom. The bathroom also had a gray marble jacuzzi, fitting for the room. There was also a large sink, a bathroom counter, and a large shower stall. After wandering around a bit more, I was exhausted and decided to go to sleep. I guess I was going to sleep here, and the bed was so comfortable. I took off my coat and got into bed, then I started thinking again. Who was this man, and why did he want me? Why was he keeping me here? As I thought about these things, I felt completely sleepy and let myself drift off into the comforting arms of sleep. I opened my eyes at the sound of the door. I thought it was that scary man called Aslan who had arrived. His footsteps were quite audible, because who else had feet like a baby's grave? Besides, it was his house, so of course he had to be here. Oh, what did I think? Here he was.I got up immediately and looked at the digital clock on the door.It was 5:00 in the morning. When I looked at Aslan, I saw blood on his white shirt. My body tensed again. Whose blood was it, and why was it on Aslan?Besides, there was something more important: what was he doing in this room?"What are you doing here?" I asked in a sleepy voice, still not fully awake. He lifted his head and looked directly into my eyes. Then, he bent his head again and spoke as he unbuttoned his shirt."What do you mean, 'I came to my room'?" he said as if it were perfectly normal."What do you mean, is this your room?" I asked in surprise. I must have accidentally entered his room.He shook his head. He looked angry. His eyebrows were furrowed, though his eyebrows were always furrowed when he was standing. I could also see his body tensed with tension."So, where is my room then?" I asked again, immediately going to my room.I didn't want to be in the same room with this dangerous man any longer."This place," he said again as if it were perfectly normal.Nel? Were we going to be in the same room?He suddenly took off his shirt and threw the bloody shirt in front of the bathroom.I turned my head away to avoid looking at his naked body, but he didn't stop for long anyway. He went straight to the dressing room.I followed him. He was about to answer my question."What do you mean, Aslan? I would never stay in the same room with you!" I said harshly. He didn't answer; instead, he pulled out a pair of black sweatpants from the closet."I'm talking to you, Aslan! What do you mean, this place"? With my angry, curt words, he slowly turned to me and stared at me with that expressionless gaze again."If I say this is it, it's here! Don't get on my nerves this morning; go back to bed!" He snapped angrily."I'm not going to sleep with a man I don't know!" I said and tried to leave. But as soon as I took a step, my back was pressed against the wall. I didn't even realize what was happening.Aslan pressed me shirtless against the wall and came towards me, squeezing me between the wall and him. My heart was pounding with fear, but he was so relaxed. He moved closer to my ear. I placed my hand heavily on his bare chest and pushed, but it was no use. His body was so warm that his hard chest muscles were practically burning under my hand."If I say you'll stay here, you'll stay here. You can force me to stay if you want, but you'll stay anyway," he said in a quiet tone. His breath practically burned my skin. His fresh breaths seeped into me, but I was also shaking with fear and tension."Aslan, get out!" I said, gritting my teeth, pushing him hard again with my hands on his chest. He wouldn't budge an inch."If you're going to stay here, I'll get out of here," he said, his head still pressed against my ear, and he whispered with his burning, hot breath.A fresh mint scent was coming from his head and body, but not like this, a light, soft, soothing mint scent."Okay, I'll stay; get out of here!" I said, not prolonging it. I wanted to get out of our current situation as quickly as possible, or I didn't want to at all.He took a deep breath and walked past me into the bathroom."Psychopath!""Psychopath, but what a wonderful smell he had.I went back to the room and lay down on the bed, but I kept praying under my breath that he'd never come near me again.
