Thomas's Pov.
Crushing. The sensation was crushing. His body was burning hot.
But this pain was nothing more than a child's play for him. He had experienced pain far worse than this.
He lifted up the club with a loud yell. Stones that covered his body crumbled into pieces.
Covered in dust, he saw Julius stabbing into the troll's eyes. It didn't seem to work.
Thomas calmed down his rage and breathed in mana into his body. He drew mana from the ground and started healing himself.
He laughed, unable to contain his excitement. Up until this point, his life was a boring shit show. He was mocked and cursed by his peers.
Fuck that.
Despite that, he clung onto it. The thing called justice, hoping that it would struck down and protect him.
Shaking his head in a defeated manner, he laughed. The blessing of ??? Spirit allowed him to manipulate four types of mana.
Earth, water, wind and fire.
He used earth the most because it was familiar to him. Each element was tied to his emotion. That's what he understood from his blessing.
Although he was certain that, he could do more than just that.
The troll tried to grab Julius but his friend teleported away from the hands.
Then its face was shot by some kind of ball. He looked at Dante and nodded.
His wounds were slowly recovering. He should have dodged the club. He didn't expect the weight behind the club would be this much.
'If they got hit by this, it is done for. I need to protect them. I need to be strong. Firm.' As his emotions grew intense, he felt more strength coming from him.
Thomas stomped at the ground, sending a wave of earth mana I to the ground. He then lifted up the mana with his will.
The troll's right left was lifted by the earth.
The troll was huge. Its advantage was the attack had weight and one hit was enough. That is all.
Thomas rushed over to the troll and jumped up, using wind mana to lift him up. He reached near the torso and slammed his fist.
The troll fell down.
"Crush the eyes." Dante suddenly yelled out from behind.
Thomas braced himself and clenched onto the troll's chest. Its smell was nauseating. He immediately stood up and dashed toward the head.
He noticed Julius repeatedly stabbing the eyes.
The troll screamed. Its loud voice was booming in his ear. Thomas created earth onto his hands and slammed into the throat, trying to stop the yelling.
Julius yelled out in pain and disappeared from his views. Then he reappeared with Dante.
Dante crouched down and inserted his entire hands into the eyeball.
Dante then looked at him and Julius. "Hold down the troll."
Thomas nodded, feeling excited. He felt like he could draw more mana, infused more mana into his body.
He turned toward the troll's arm and threw a solid rock attached to his body. It traveled fast, mainly because he added wind mana into the mix.
The solid rock blew the troll's arm back. It didn't penetrate into the flesh like he envisioned. The grey skin was too tough.
'I need fire power.' A flash of inspiration entered into his mind. He grinned, running toward the troll's face, ignoring the arms.
When he reached over the face, he noticed Dante and Julius working on something.
He pulled back his arms and swung downward, trying to smash the troll's teeth. But his strength was not enough.
Dante gave a glance at his direction, his eyes screamed that he knew what his plan was. Thomas smiled, awkwardly.
He wanted to throw a fireball into the troll's mouth. No matter how touch the skin was, the organs must be the same.
"If you can use your water mana, drown the troll. That way, the mouth can be open." Dante gave his advice and went to concentrate on his work.
Thomas nodded and immediately went to work. This time, he drew mana in the air, filled with cool sensation.
After grabbing a handful of mana, he pointed his palm at the troll's mouth and let it out. Mana morphed and transformed.
Water flew out from him like a jet. 'Shit. It is too strong. Slow down, Max. Slow down'
Soon, the water calmly flowed. It entered inside the troll's mouth through the gaps between the teeth. The troll moved around, trying to escape.
Surprise. Surprise. It managed to do that. It stood up and Thomas fell on the ground, soaking wet. He looked up, bracing for the attack to come.
But there was none. He looked up and saw Dante's still holding on its eye, face filled with a twisted smile.
'What a weird man.' Thomas thought, wiping his smile.
He then used another earth attack. Earth mana was easy to gather and could be used without serious concentration.
He threw an earth tower, targeting the troll's genital. The troll shook and yelled in anger. It tried to swing the club but didn't seem to notice that it was now laying on the ground.
Julius let out a laugh beside him and pointed at the troll. "Wanna finish your stuff?"
Thomas nodded. "Hell yeah."
"Okay." Julius said and grabbed his neck. "Stay tight, big buy. Don't burn off your mustache."
Suddenly, the world shifted and his thoughts paused.
He then found himself grabbing on the troll's mouth. Julius jumped down from his back.
Thomas realized his situation and grabbed his fire mana. He also added wind mana as well. Compressing the two mana, it burned brightly in his hand.
He threw into the troll's mouth, felt the shockwave inside. Thankfully, the thick skin prevented the body from exploding.
Despite all that, the troll survived. It became more angry. It slapped Thomas away.
Before he landed on the ground, he saw Dante laughing. His hands deep inside the eyes, shrouded in mana. Pure mana, devoid of elements.
As he crushed land on the ground, he felt shockwave travelled the earth.
The troll fell down.
Their combined effort managed to overthrow the behemoth. Although the behemoth was slow and easy to beat, it was still difficult.
If he was alone, he would never defeat the monster.
Energy rushed over his body, quickly healing his wounds, caring for his body like an overbearing mother.
