Warner's POV
"Is that so?" Warner sneers, her voice dripping with disdain.
"Absolutely. If you have something to say to her, speak your mind openly. But she stays here. Not after someone from your territory attacked her, especially an omega from the sixth ward."
"Your father's domain," she snarls, baring her teeth.
"My father stands behind me now. Don't associate me with that bastard anymore."
"You didn't seem troubled by that association when you unleashed him on the Quinton Pack," she hisses.
"A regrettable partnership that worked in his favor," I respond with an eye roll.
"You're nothing but an irresponsible, reckless child," she growls, stepping closer to meet my challenge head-on.
"Step back from my son. He might have reservations about striking a woman, but I certainly don't share his restraint," my mother warns with a dangerous rumble. Gianna dismisses her completely, turning those darkening eyes toward my mate.
