Chapter 92 - Chapter 92: The June Bride Case

At 7:00 PM sharp, Yuu and Hitomi arrived at the pharmaceutical company. They walked through the lab and into the empty combat hall where they had committed their first murders. The bodies were gone, leaving only faint dark stains on the floor.

"Lord Gin. Lord Vodka," they greeted.

As new recruits, they had to use honorifics. Codenames were a privilege earned with rank. Gin merely nodded, but Vodka flashed a toothy grin behind his shades. It was meant to be friendly, but with his burly face, it looked menacing. Gin shot him a look, and Vodka immediately straightened up.

"Before we train, we test your baseline," Gin said. Efficiency was his specialty. He needed to know their limits to craft a program that wouldn't break them before they became useful.

They were put through a battery of tests using various high-tech equipment. Speed, strength, stamina, vision, hearing, bone density, muscle fiber quality—everything was mapped out. Gin's smile widened as the results came in.

Hitomi's coordination and balance were world-class, thanks to her gymnastics background. But Yuu was the real shock. His vision and reaction times were off the charts. Yuu had actually held back during the eye exam; if he revealed the full power of the [Eyes of Truth], the Organization might decide to dissect him.

Even so, Gin felt like he had struck gold. Yuu was young, untrained, and already a monster. In a few years, he might even surpass Gin himself. With Yuu, the Organization's future was secure for decades.

"Go home for now," Gin said, his mood unusually good. "I'll notify you when the schedule is ready. And one more thing: the Organization doesn't care about your private lives, but don't flaunt your relationship inside 'The Company'."

Gin had plenty of enemies within the Organization's factions. If people knew his proteges were lovers, they would use it as leverage or a reason to attack his leadership. The last high-profile couple in the Organization—Akemi Miyano and Shuichi Akai—had ended in disaster and betrayal.

Yuu and Hitomi nodded and left. Yuu looked for Shiho on the way out, but she was seemingly off-duty.

The next few days passed in a blur of school and occasional secret trysts. Finally, the day of the wedding arrived: the marriage of their teacher, Sayuri Matsumoto.

Yuu, Serena, and Serena's sister Ran (who was also a teacher at the school) arrived in a low-profile but incredibly expensive Maybach driven by a new Suzuki family chauffeur. The wedding was a Western-style ceremony held at a beautiful church with an open-air lawn.

Serena immediately clung to Yuu's arm. Despite his warnings about being discreet because of the Black Organization, she couldn't help herself. Yuu didn't push her away; Gin trusted him now and likely wasn't tailing him to a school wedding. Besides, Serena looked like just another bratty rich girl, not a threat.

Ran watched them with a hint of jealousy, but she was more reserved in public. Both girls were wearing their Teitan High School uniforms, as they were attending as students. The sight of the JK (high school girl) uniforms made Yuu's blood boil with desire. He made a mental note to make Serena wear that uniform on the school rooftop or in the infirmary soon.

Since all three were exceptionally attractive, they drew quite a bit of attention.

"Okay, Serena, let go for a second," Yuu said, gently disentangling himself.

Serena giggled but complied. She knew when to stop. Ran's slight pout vanished the moment Serena let go. They were here for their teacher, but for Yuu, he was just waiting for the inevitable "case" to begin.
