Nine months later, Stephanie is sitting outside in the early morning to receive fresh air. Peter is already dressed for work, before reaching outside their bungalow house he met his wife screaming in pain, he was not happy because he have not seen his wife screamed like this even if she have seen a lizard or something scary. Peter knew that Stephanie is in labour so he took her to his car his company gifted him three months ago.
Today is Stephanie birthday and she was in labour that day, when she was rushed to hospital she was scanned and they informed her it will by operation. Stephanie rebuke it and told the doctor that she must give birth like a Hebrew woman. The doctor was a Christian so he trusted God too. When the took her to the labour room she cried and told God if anything bad happens she will not be happy with him. From outside heard Stephanie screamed in pain. Two minutes later, he heard a cry of a baby. She jumped up and was happy from outside, suddenly he heard his wife screamed again to pull the second child out.
This time after four minutes the baby came out but was dead. Stephanie became unconscious after the birth. The doctor brought to Peter notice that the lost a girl but the other a boy is still alive. Peter went inside to see his wife and child. Peter's phone rang it was a call from his company to ask him his reason for not coming even by this time. He told them that his wife gave birth today and he was pardon.
Stephanie woke up to see Peter beside her carrying the baby. She smiled but it came to her notice that she was pregnant for twin but Peter is carrying one only. Stephanie tapped Peter who did not know that Stephanie was awake. Where is our children? ; Stephanie asked, sorry we lost our baby girl she is dead; Peter replied. Stephanie shed tears and Peter tried to console her but in no avail. She shed tears to the doctor came in to console her still on no avail. Stephanie's parents came in and the we're happy for her successful delivery and came to visit her.
Stephanie's mother,Mrs Grace consoles her still she stop shedding tears when Mrs Grace told her about her twin sister, Liana who died ten years ago. Remember today is your birthday and you and your child will be celebrated; Mrs Grace promised her. Mrs Grace turn to Peter, So which gender is alive; Mrs Grace asked. It is a boy; Peter replied. Peter paid all the hospital bills and Stephanie was discharged. Any time she remembers her sister she remembers her daughter but she thought in her mind; but I saw my daughter moved her leg but didn't cry. She thought it severally and started shedding tears again
Please darling you must learn how to put yourself together; Peter encouraged her. Because you are not a woman that why you don't know how it feels; Stephanie replied with tears still dropping from her eyes down to her cheeks. I know I can feel it through you just stop crying; he replied as he hugged Stephanie very tight.
