'Huh?' Vlad saw something viciously charging toward him in the pile of sewage he found himself in. The only problem was that, despite all its effort, the attacking microorganism was… moving like a snail.
In fact, snails could probably outrun it.
"Rawraghh!!" Vlad seemed to hear the assailant shout as it inched toward him at an absolutely saddening pace. The shout sounded much like that of a low, shrill whisper in his nonexistent ears.
'Is that thing wanting to eat me?' Vlad tilted his gelatin head in confusion. 'I guess I should fight back then, huh?'
He then imagined striking the microorganism, and so it happened; his body twisted and stretched until he turned into a drill – and then he shot toward the attacker like an arrow, blasting a hole straight through its jelly form.
Vlad's body returned to its normal shape as he bobbed a few times behind the microorganism's corpse. He turned around, feeling a bit sorry for the little fella that just wanted a snack. It had tried so hard as well…
However, his preoccupied thoughts were quickly overridden when a "Ding!" echoed inside his head, following an odd scene that involved the dissipation and absorption of the microorganism's corpse. This was caused by the extremely overpowered 'Black Hole' Talent.

'Ho?'
Vlad was pleasantly surprised to feel a wondrous energy invade his body and fill him with an indescribable warmth. He instantly felt himself become much stronger and larger. If before, he could only do that drill attack thing two or three times, then now he could perform the move four or five times.
'This body is very weird, but I feel like collecting and absorbing more of this Energy will help me adjust much faster.'
It was kind of like farming exp to level up in a game!
BOOM! BOOM!
Just as Vlad's excitement started to overflow, thunderous explosions reverberated. Each explosion bounced him off the ground, treating him like some sort of trampoline victim.
His annoyance further increased when he realized that these "Explosions" weren't really explosions at all. Rather, they were instead the result of Xue Yin and Zhang Chao clashing blades.
Strangely enough, Vlad could perfectly understand the language they were speaking. And although he could only make out bits and pieces of their conversation, he could basically guess why they were fighting.
Handsome Senior Brother got a little too "friendly" with his Senior Sister a few days ago.
Handsome Senior Brother's lover – Junior Sister Xue Yin – found out from Fang Ting's slip of the tongue.
One could pretty much guess the rest of the story…
'Heh,' Vlad smirked. 'serves you right, you damn normies!'
Apparently, there really was justice in the world!
The area only shook for a little bit before the quarrelling lovers took the fight elsewhere. They were powerful Body Refinement Realm Cultivators, so they could move quite fast – at least faster than any human Vlad ever saw on Earth. Even world-renowned Athletes couldn't compare.
'I wonder if I'll ever have the chance to become that strong.'
Vlad had only arrived in this world just recently and he was already yearning for superhuman powers.
Being the insignificant micro existence that he was, his dream of supreme strength was definitely wishful thinking. But if not anything, at least he adjusted to his new reality abnormally fast.
As expected of a professional weeb, aye?
"Blurg, Blurg, Blurg!"
While Vlad was drooling over the thought of flying around and ragebaiting all the young masters this world was sure to have, several more hostile microorganisms spotted him and immediately commenced their charge.
Seeing them really give it their all – so confident in their "surprise" attacks – Vlad's heart filled with pity. However, that didn't stop him from transforming into a drill and piercing through their monstrous bodies in repeated succession.
Four microorganisms met their end, their jiggly corpses quickly dissolving and becoming Vlad's strength.

Following a bright flash of light, he was subjected to a transcendental transformation. Every pore of his slimy body experienced a qualitative change – expanding, strengthening, improving – turning him into something superior to what he once was.
Accompanying a zooming out of his vision, Vlad was astonished to find out that he could look at something from two different directions.
