"Alright, what you're saying makes sense, but how long will it take before we can get out?"
Scarlet King replied while raising his head to look at Kun Tian Yi's bird-shaped body:
"Well, you'll have to wait a few thousand—or perhaps a few million—years until I reach the Eleventh Dimension and can come up with a plan to steal some of the Sacred Lake liquid from your clans."
"We're currently in the First Dimension."
Everyone fell silent.
Long Tian Yue gritted his teeth and replied:
"Steal part of the Sacred Lake!? That means you don't intend to negotiate with the clans."
"You intend to earn their hostility!"
Kun Tian Yi looked at him and placed a wing over his face in frustration.
"Long Tian Yue, our clans are far too arrogant. They would never allow a human who is half-Darkness—and the Rebirth Devil on top of that—to take even a portion of our Sacred Lakes."
"Even if he explained the reason, they wouldn't believe him."
Scarlet King clapped his hands.
"Finally."
"Someone who thinks with logic instead of arrogance and emotion."
Jiu Ling Yue looked at him and laughed.
"Hehe~ My clan is ninety-eight percent women."
"They wouldn't refuse someone as powerful as the Rebirth Devil in exchange for a few… entertaining things."

Scarlet King fell silent.

Scarlet King replied:

Xing Lin spoke.
"Scarlet King, what makes us believe you'll actually help us and get us out of here?"
Scarlet King closed his eyes and adjusted his hat.
"Although I am a demonic being of Darkness who cannot be trusted in any way whatsoever, you provide me with benefits."
"So I would be the one losing out if I didn't free you."
"And your strength is useful."
Everyone fell silent.
Long Tian Yue looked toward the others.
"Let's speak privately for a moment."
Everyone except Scarlet King moved aside, formed a circle, and began discussing the matter.
Kun Tian Yi spoke first.
"What do you think?"
"It's true that there are hostilities between us, but we are all children of the same Great Bloodline—the Heavenly Spirit Bloodline."
"We need to cooperate if we want to escape."
Long Tian Yue spoke.
"I agree, but do we really have to cooperate with this devil?"
"He's already using the Heaven-Devouring Battle Law."
"If he obtains the complete technique, he could literally devour us."
Tao Wu Yan replied:
"You're right."
"His aura from the Heaven-Devouring Battle Law is unstable and incomplete, which proves that he does not possess the complete technique."
"That means we're safe for now."
Linuo Feng Qi spoke.
"We can form a spiritual contract with him before giving him our power."
"If he ever attempts to break the contract, we can use the power we placed inside him to kill him."
Jiu Ling Yue spoke.

"It also has many supporters."

"Good."
