While Yohan was busy finding out about the Margo family, Dalton was busy checking on Regis, and Noel and Silas went to his room to rest.
Omega took off his jacket and hung it on a hanger. Together with his son, they sat on his king-size bed.
"Then Uncle Dalton and I…" As usual, he recounted his daily life with his mother's old friend.
Noel nodded, listening to his story even though he felt quite tired. But with Silas, he never felt tired at all and wanted to keep listening to what his son had to say.
He actually felt so alive with him, as if Silas were his lifeline now.
"I'm glad you had fun with Uncle Dalton today. I'm sorry I was too busy to play with you. But since my work is done today, we can spend the rest of the day together," Noel said, stroking Silas's head.
A smile blossomed on the boy's face, and he nodded. He felt so happy with her words.
Until, that smile faded when he remembered something.
"Mama," he called out.
