"Well miss Evelyn it's nice to meet you" I decided not to act weird and just go with the flow of the conversation "mind if I ask why you would buy alot of things?"
"Ohh dear I didn't buy them they are actually Danirahs cousin's things she's moving here from upstate" miss Evelyn answered I could feel exhaustion and unwillingness to give up in her voice she seemed like shes been through alot "Ohh here's the truck help me load these."
Luckily the boxes where light or else I'd be sweating buckets 'strength comes from the mind not the body' a voice sounded in my head 'ohhh then I can lift the whole truck' i thought sarcastically
"Well thank you Jordan" miss Evelyn said while bordering the truck "Ohhh I almost forgot .. make sure she's home before midnight."
'Huh so she tells her mom everything' i thought to my self 'might as well as jog there.'
Playing riptide by vance joy i started jogging home trying to stay in the moment. Some how i felt excited to meet her, to show her my world 'guess songs do change moods haha.'
"Haaaa who knew running is tiring" I said out lound breathing as if I'd run a marathon 'You just ran for a minute and your tired' a voice resounded in my head 'Am the one doing the running and your just in my head rent free .... Talk about karma' i replied finally deciding to hail a taxi 'Dying of exhaustion no sir'.
Reaching home, it looked more lively than ever 'Time to ruin it haha' I thought smiling mischievously
Opening the door, I saw her laughing 'she's cute'
"Ka thump" my heart broke me from my stupor 'we have to kill those feelings' a voice resounded in my head 'no doubt' i thought, looking at her turning towards me.
"What?" She asked looking at me wide eyed "Don't Tell me your having cold feet"
"No am actually thinking on how to kill you and be done with it" I replied moving towards the bathroom
"Dont mind him Danirah, he's just a sad kid" i heard my brother console her 'what if you push her away' a voice so low barley a whisper resounded in my head 'then good riddance' i thought appalled at the ridiculous thought.
After a quick shower I strode towards the living room
"Well Danirah it's time I showed you my world" I smiled at her 'why am I smiling' i thought 'It feels nice'.
