"However, these don't seem like purely Fire Elemental. I can sense a powerful electrical force on them," Kael'thas said.
After summoning these strange elemental beings, he established a connection with them, allowing them to fly at high speed or even perform short-distance teleportation directly.
These elemental beings would absolutely obey his commands, even if Kael'thas ordered them to commit suicide.
They possessed no intelligence whatsoever and were entirely elemental lifeforms condensed from his own mana.
Furthermore, the sheer number he summoned honestly startled Kael'thas. He had originally thought he would only summon two or three! He never expected to summon a full 40!
"It is indeed very wondrous, His Highness Prince Kael'thas. This creature is an evolved version of the Fire Elemental, named Flame Elemental. They are much stronger than Fire Elemental, both in attack and defense, and they can also cast a spell called 'Miracle of Fire Bath,' which grants the target unit a damage reduction of over 25% against fire spells."
"Moreover, because they are elemental beings, they are immune to all mind magic and Fire Elemental magic."
The Flame Elemental is a considerably powerful upgraded unit; its practicality is indeed much higher than that of the Fire Elemental, and the value of a flying unit is immense.
What's more, this unit's ability is teleportation, and it can also cast spells—it certainly has some tricks up its sleeve. He truly deserves to be called the strongest Fire mage in the Azeroth World.
Kael'thas does not have the fire magic bonuses from the heroes of might and magic series, so one point of his power would only allow him to summon two Fire Elemental, yet he summoned a full 40 of them.
Therefore, if Kael's power were converted into the heroes of might and magic system, it would be at least 20 points. Truly worthy of being the strongest Fire mage!
At this moment, Jaina also wore a look of astonishment, having never expected Kael'thas' power to be so immense that he could summon an upgraded version of the Fire Elemental, similar to the Holy Light Elemental summoned by Lord Uther.
"They can cast spells themselves, and are immune to fire magic and mind magic? That is truly remarkable," Kael'thas said, nodding.
This spell is formidable; it almost maximizes the utilization of his mana. If used on the battlefield, summoning 40 such units at once could inflict devastating damage upon the enemy.
The mere fact that they can cast a spell reducing fire damage is already impressive.
And their movement method is truly outrageous! That near-Flash ability would be incredibly satisfying to use for striking important enemy backline units.
"However, relatively speaking, these elemental beings also have some weaknesses. Whether they are Fire Elemental or Flame Elemental, they fear water magic, although their damage against water magic creatures will be doubled," Rhodes said.
Just as Angels hate Demons and Black Dragons hate Titans, gaining a 50% damage increase, although water magic deals double damage to the Flame Elemental, this unit also deals 50% increased damage when attacking Water Elementals.
And there are many water-based creatures in the Azeroth World, such as certain deep-sea Naga, or perhaps some Murlocs.
"This minor flaw is acceptable. After all, when fire is powerful, it can also suppress water."
Kael'thas was quite satisfied looking at the 40 Flame Elemental he had summoned. Rhodes had just mentioned that as long as one has enough mana,
any mage can cast this spell. If Jaina can cast it, what about his subordinates?
Thinking of this, Kael'thas immediately waved his hand.
"Disna! Come in for a moment."
The female High Elves who had just greeted Rhodes and Jaina at the door immediately walked in upon hearing the call.
This was a female Elf with a tall, voluptuous figure, perfect curves, fiery red hair, and a dazzling face.
"Your Highness, are you looking for me?"
"Disna, try this wondrous magic scroll. Can you cast the spell to summon Fire Elemental?" Kael'thas said, handing the Fire Elemental summoning magic scroll to Disna.
This female Elf named Disna was no ordinary maid; she was a top-tier Fire mage from Quel'Thalas, and arguably the strongest High Elves Fire mage in all of Dalaran besides himself.
"Summon Fire Elemental? Yes, Your Highness." Disna nodded upon hearing this and reached out to take the scroll.
After receiving the magic scroll, and just like Kael'thas, the female Elf instantly learned the spell and then summoned 12 Fire Elemental.
They were not Flame Elemental, but the basic version of Fire Elemental, and their quantity was completely incomparable to what Kael'thas had summoned earlier.
"Good. A truly wondrous magic scroll!" Kael'thas nodded with satisfaction as he looked at the 12 Fire Elemental summoned by Disna.
It was indeed wondrous. After letting go of the magic scroll, Kael'thas immediately forgot how to cast the spell, as if the magic did not exist at all.
There was no underlying principle whatsoever. It was truly worthy of being a creation of the Titan; it was certainly wondrous. This magic scroll was very important to their Sunstrider Dynasty.
"It seems you are quite satisfied with this magic scroll, Your Highness Kael'thas," Rhodes said with a smile.
In the heroes of might and magic world, a magic scroll is only considered a low-tier treasure, but a scroll recording a Tier 5 spell is extremely valuable, especially since it can be used without any preconditions, provided you have enough mana.
"I am indeed very satisfied, but there is something slightly different from what you mentioned. I believe this spell could be improved further," Kael'thas said after taking the magic scroll back from his female assistant.
"You have certainly improved it, Your Highness Kael'thas, since you summoned the much more formidable Flame Elemental," Rhodes replied.
Kael summoning the Flame Elemental definitely startled Rhodes, but given Uther's precedent, it wasn't entirely unacceptable, and he himself could also summon Holy Light Elemental.
If he could somehow acquire some of Kael's fire magic for free, would he also be able to summon the Flame Elemental in the future?
"My intention is to take it a step further—for example, enabling ordinary Fire mages to summon one or two of these Fire Elemental or even the Flame Elemental. I believe that is why Jaina brought Rhodes here to give me this magic scroll, isn't it?" Kael'thas said.
"That is correct, Master Kael'thas. I believe that if anyone can accomplish this, it would be only you in all of Azeroth," Jaina said.
Hearing this, Kael'thas' lips curled into a smug smile.
Rhodes chuckled nearby. Ostensibly, Kael'thas was indeed the strongest Fire mage, but there was actually someone else named Illidan!
He is a Demon Hunter, but he is also an Archmage with extremely high magical attainment.
