Chapter 62 - Kael

Rhodes understood this perfectly, which is why he fabricated the identity of a Titan Keeper's envoy earlier; otherwise, he wouldn't dare to reveal all these good things.

Sometimes greed can make people do very crazy things, but Rhodes is not a pushover.

Firstly, his noble status in Lordaeron, as a leader of the Alliance, already precluded any underhanded tactics, as nominally, all of Dalaran had to obey the King of Lordaeron's commands.

As for hard power, Rhodes could summon Solmyr at any time to impersonate a powerful Titan bodyguard.

"You also shouldn't tell anyone about the space magic ship for now.

If Kael'thas wants the Fire Elemental magic scroll, you can lend it to him. The High Elves prince's credibility is guaranteed; I can confirm that," Jaina said.

With herself present, Kael'thas would definitely not do anything out of character; she was very certain of this.

"I understand, Jaina, thank you for the reminder," Rhodes nodded and said.

Soon, the two arrived at a magnificent fire-red palace. The interior design was completely different from human style, showcasing exquisite Quel'Thalas elven aesthetics. At the entrance stood two beautiful High Elves women with golden long hair.

"Lady Jaina! Are you here to pay respects to His Royal Highness?" one of the elven beauties at the entrance asked kindly.

"Yes, Lady Disna, please convey our message. Does His Royal Highness have time to receive us?" Jaina said.

"His Royal Highness is currently engaged in magical research. I will go and inform him; he should have time," the elven beauty smiled politely, then turned and left.

A moment later, Jaina and Rhodes were invited into the estate. The interior decoration of the estate was even more splendid, with precious carpets and various magical furnishings.

Brooms that swept by themselves, blankets that folded themselves, and even portraits that greeted them.

It gave Rhodes the illusion of having arrived at Hogwarts.

Soon, the two were led into a room where a tall, handsome male elf in a red magic robe, with three mana orbs floating behind him, was waiting for them.

It must be said, this Blood Elves prince is indeed incredibly handsome! In terms of looks, if Arthas scored an 8, this one could easily score 10 or more.

"Jaina, it's truly rare. I didn't expect you to visit me personally! Do you have any magical problems you wish to consult me about?" Kael'thas smiled and nodded at Jaina as he asked.

"Yes, Master Kael'thas, I have something I wish to ask for your help with this time," Jaina bowed politely and said.

"I told you before, Jaina, you can just call me Kael!"

"Master Kael'thas, this is merely a matter of politeness. You are, after all, my senior; even my teacher has consulted you on magic," Jaina said.

She was deliberately highlighting the age difference between them. Even her teacher, Antonidas, was but a mere child in front of Kael'thas, and even Aegwynn was the same.

"Never mind! Jaina, just tell me what you need!" Kael'thas sighed and said.

Perhaps he really shouldn't have fallen for a human girl. Jaina was indeed beautiful, but in a few decades, she would age like any ordinary human.

Unless he could make her an existence like a Guardian!

"Master Kael'thas, during my recent investigation of the plague, I experienced some extremely fantastical adventures. We obtained a weapon that your race once forged for the human Emperor Thoradin... That's the situation, Master Kael'thas. We wish to transform this weapon into a Holy Light weapon, inlay this holy light crystal into it, and then re-engrave and enchant it." Jaina briefly explained to Kael'thas and gestured for Rhodes to present the Strom'kar, the Warbreaker.

Looking at the Emperor's sword on the table, Kael'thas fell into contemplation. This weapon had been completely purified by Holy Light, with abundant Holy Light flowing within it.

As for the holy light crystal, it was even more remarkable; the Holy Light within it made him feel astonished.

"Jaina! You've come to the right people. Apart from us High Elves, no one else in all of Azeroth can complete this work, but this is a vast and complex project.

It even requires my personal touch for enchantment, engraving, and gem inlay. But Rhodes, what kind of compensation do you offer to invite my assistance?" Kael'thas' gaze swept towards Rhodes as he asked.

The user of this weapon certainly isn't Jaina, and Rhodes just introduced himself as a Lordaeron noble!

He is also a mage, so he naturally wouldn't use a greatsword as a weapon.

So Kael'thas was highly suspicious that this Holy Light sword, once reforged, might be given to his rival, Arthas, to use.

If Jaina asked him to help reforge a legendary staff, he would offer assistance for free without hesitation. But if it was possibly a weapon for Arthas...

Even if Jaina came to ask, he would demand a high price and absolutely not offer his services for free.

"Naturally, I wouldn't ask for your help for free, Your Royal Highness. I can provide appropriate compensation," Rhodes said.

It was understandable that Kael wasn't willing to help for free. Besides, Rhodes didn't particularly like relying on women's favors.

Some resources he possessed were renewable, such as medical tents and Fire Elemental scrolls, which he had intended to give Kael'thas to research anyway. These could all be lent out.

At the right price, medical tents could even be sold; they only cost 750 units of gold, and he could buy an infinite number of them.

"Oh! Now that interests me. What kind of compensation do you plan to offer? Ordinary money won't move me," Kael'thas said.

"First, there's this medical tent. No matter how severe the injury, as long as one isn't instantly killed, even if it's a missing limb...

After entering it, they can recover. Your Royal Highness, what do you think of this medical tent?" Rhodes first produced the medical tent.

"It looks rather crude. As for its healing ability, I don't think it's particularly precious. Limb regeneration, however, is somewhat interesting," Kael'thas said.

The priests of Quel'Thalas excel in Holy Light, and their potent healing potions are top-tier; he doesn't lack healing items.

And this tent doesn't look particularly ornate, not conforming to elven aesthetics.

The only thing that slightly interested him was limb regeneration.

"Don't underestimate it, Your Royal Highness. As long as one isn't instantly killed, it can save them. Its effect cannot be compared to Holy Light or ordinary healing potions," Rhodes said.
