When Damian woke up he is in a white room. He closed and opened his eyes several times getting used to the light. When he tried to move, he can't. He saw himself bound to the bed with some kind of chains, gritting his teeth, he looked around.
The room is completely covered in white tiles with a door at the front. There is a light just on top of the door. But it's bright, too bright actually. Damian felt weak feeling and also pain from his body. There is definitely something wrong, he remembered his ring glowing and an eerie glow enveloping him. Then a TV screen like thing appeared.
He tried to call that strange power again to see if it can work. But nothing happened. Damian sighed in defeat, his heart once again fell into despair, maybe it was a hallucination that appeared due to extreme torture. Damian heat swelled with rage. He gritted his teeth. His fists curled in anger, the nails dug into his palms and blood came out of them.
He is useless, he is the reason the matron and everyone in the orphanage died. He is the reason for this disaster, if they wanted to torture and kill him, they should have done that to him. Why go to the matron, his fellow orphans and nuns in there.
Tears welled up in his eyes once again. ' it's all my fault ', Damian muttered in his heart. A strange heavy feeling enveloped him. He felt like he is sinking deep into a dark pit, the cuffs started shaking violently buzzing in protest. Black smoke once again started to appear out of him.
Just then the door opened and an old man walked in. With him a strange bird appeared, it has red and golden feathers on it. It released screech and a warm aura appeared in the room. From the bird a warm glow started spread around. As soon as the aura reached Damian, the black smoke started struggling like it encountered it's atchnemesis.
It then started get burnt and disappear slowly. Then it slowly retracted into Damina. The warm glow enveloped the room for few more seconds before everything calmed down. The old man took out a necklace and placed it around the boy. Then he touched the boy's head before sighing.
He lifted his wand and wanted to erase those memories. But that means he needs to erase nearly 4 years of memories. If he erases everything, that will be a problem for the boy. As it will cause unstable memory and risk his mental health.
So he can only retract his hand. A few moments later Damian woke up. Strangely the heavy feeling in his heart seems like it's been locked up somehow. As rage once again appeared on his face, the locket on his neck buzzed a little.
His landed on the old man and he said," kill me ", even though he can feel his emotions are being suppressed from exploding, he is still very sad, angry and filled with despair. Innocent people died because of him. Very kind and good people lost their lives just because of an unknown feud his family has with someone.
He didn't even know who did something like this, he is now dying like pathetic beast waiting for slaughter. But contrary to his belief, the old man explained," no, no, young man. I'm not here to kill you, I'm the one who saved you, twice I believe. My condolences first of all. I understand your loss. I lost all my family. My parents died. my sister also passed away at a very young age due to my mistake. My brother won't talk to me anymore because of that, and my lover was imprisoned by my own hands. I also got only one member left to call a family little one ".
He smiled kindly but his eyes carried a sad look and he said," meet Fawkes. My phoenix ", Fawkes screeched a little as a greeting.
Damian just looked at him and said," you saved me twice sir. Thank you for that. But what about the people that are torturing me there. Did you find anyone? ", Dumbledore shook his head not knowing whether he can tell the boy about how he made them epxlode into pieces.
Seeing Dumbledore shake his head, Damian can only sigh. Dumbledore released his chains and took out an envelope from his robes. It's address is like this.

he frowned as he saw the address. That means, he is in St. Mungo's Hospital. But what is this magical thingy. He turned to Dumbledore who explained," unlike others you're special Damian. You're a wizard ", Dumbledore stopped himself from saying he is an obscurus.
Damian is already a little unstable, if he were to say he will die in a few years or maybe months, Damian will lose his mind on the spot.
Or that's what he thought. But to Damian who saw the wierd glow and screen, this felt like it's not impossible. He is wizard, so that weird glow form the ring and the TV screen like thing he received also belongs to wizards. He wanted to ask if he can bring back the matron and others from dead.
But the old man said he lost his sister in an accident and also his parents died. If wizards can bring people back from dead they would have done it already. Meaning, they d can't.
The old man said to him," open the letter and take a look. You're now a student of Hogwarts. I'll return tomorrow for now, take some rest and recover well".
Damian turned the letter to see a red wax seal. It has a shield symbol with big H on it. And four different animals. He can recognise the griffin, eagle, badger and snake from the seal. Opening it, he read the letter and the screen popped again in front of him.
