Even though the Divine Emperor · Ying had already agreed to let Divine Advent Seraph · Siya return to the Divine Race.
Ning Xi also understood that the required steps still couldn't be skipped!
After round after round of trials from the Divine Race's princes.
She had finally reached the last trial of the SS-Rank hidden quest, Heart Knot!
Ning Xi knew full well: 'Once I finish this last trial, Brother Lin Mo's SS-Rank hidden quest will be complete! Then he can get out of the Land of Abandoned Ghosts!'
Thinking this, she suddenly felt full of drive.
There was no time to waste.
Ning Xi set out at once and left the imperial city.
According to the quest prompt, this trial would not take place inside the Divine Kingdom.
The quest item [Holy Wings] had been lost at a specific spot inside Inferno City, on a Level 85 map called [Divine Temple]!
So next, Ning Xi had to leave the Divine Kingdom, go back to Inferno City, and find the [Holy Wings]!
But when Ning Xi returned to the spot where she had first entered the Divine Kingdom a few days earlier, she ran into a huge problem.
The Divine Capital, the only border crossing between the Beast Race's Inferno City and the Divine Race's Divine Kingdom, had been destroyed by Lonely Island, and the teleport array had shut down.
Ning Xi couldn't go back to Inferno City for now!
She looked at the teleport array in front of her, shut down and with its glow gone.
The Fifth Prince, Changge, said, "The Divine Capital will need at least about three more days to be repaired."
Ning Xi frowned. "No, I can't wait that long."
Because Ning Xi knew very well:
Divine Advent Seraph · Siya was slowing her darkening only because the quest progressed step by step.
Until the SS-Rank hidden quest, Heart Knot, was completely finished, if it stalled for three days, Siya would surely fall into darkness fast.
And then everything would be for nothing!
So.
"I have to get out right now and help Brother Lin Mo finish the quest immediately!"
But the Fifth Prince, Changge, sighed deeply. "But the decree of Heaven (the System) can't be defied. No matter how urgent it is, we can't change the fact that the Divine Capital needs three days to be repaired!"
At this moment, in Ning Xi's stunning eyes was a resolve she had never shown before. "Then for Brother Lin Mo, I'll defy Heaven and rewrite fate!"
As she spoke.
Ning Xi crouched down by the teleport array.
She placed her right palm on it.
The next moment.
Boom!
A golden aurora burst out of the dull, lightless teleport array!
At the same time, at the other end of the teleport array.
Inside Inferno City, on the Divine Capital map.
The main city crystal, which had been maliciously destroyed two days earlier by players of the Super God Guild and was repairing itself at a slow pace, was suddenly fully repaired!
The city of the Divine Capital was instantly restored as good as new!
Inside the Divine Kingdom.
Seeing the teleport array, which should have taken three days to repair, fixed in an instant with one light touch from Ning Xi, the Fifth Prince, Changge, was stunned.
"There's... actually something like this?!"
At the same time.
As the teleport array was forcibly activated.
The flashing golden mark appeared again in the palm of Ning Xi's right hand:
Miracles: 50%!
Without a moment's hesitation.
Ning Xi immediately left the Divine Kingdom through the repaired teleport array.
After coming out of the Divine Capital, she followed the map's guidance and headed straight for the [Divine Temple], where the Holy Wings were buried.
...
Meanwhile, on the other side.
The south of Inferno City.
Dragon Soul Aoshi, Dragon Soul Whisper and Dragon Soul Dusk had tailed Lonely Island, Super God Athena and the Ghost King Soul-Commanding Envoy · Sade the whole way, and reached a Level 100 map: the Divine Forbidden Land.
Looking at the endless Divine Forbidden ruins before them.
Super God Athena said thoughtfully to the Ghost King Soul-Commanding Envoy · Sade, "If I remember right, Ji Ningshuang said before that this is exactly where you were sealed, isn't it?!"
"Could the Ghost Royal Guard have been sealed in this place too?"
The Ghost King Soul-Commanding Envoy · Sade said nothing.
He simply turned into a puff of black smoke and drifted to the core of the Divine Forbidden Land.
The instant he raised the SSS-Rank Divine Artifact [Soul Devourer] in his hand.
Whoosh!
Countless streams of black undead breath poured out of the scepter and seeped down into the ground beneath the Divine Forbidden Land.
The next moment.
A loud map announcement came down from the sky:
[Map Announcement] (Lv100 Divine Forbidden Land): "Ding~ Attention, all players in the Divine Forbidden Land: the system has detected a powerful dark force reviving. Please be on guard!"
[Map Announcement]: "Ding~ Dark force revival progress: 1%!"
[Map Announcement]: "Ding~ Dark force revival progress: 2%!"
...
Super God Athena was instantly thrilled. "I knew it, it's here!"
"The Ghost Royal Guard is about to be revived!"
Meanwhile, not far from the Divine Forbidden Land.
Dragon Soul Aoshi and the other two, who had followed Lonely Island and his group and were hiding in a deep thicket, were shaken by the map announcement that had just rung out.
Dragon Soul Dusk's heart lurched. "They've already started reviving the Ghost Royal Guard!"
Dragon Soul Whisper said, "I've already posted our location in the guild chat and called everyone in the guild. They're on their way to the Divine Forbidden Land and should arrive in about five minutes!"
"That's too late!" Dragon Soul Aoshi's eyes blazed. "By the time they get here, the Ghost Royal Guard will already be revived!"
"Move now!"
At Dragon Soul Aoshi's command, Dragon Soul Dusk and Dragon Soul Whisper grabbed their ice bow and wizard's staff at once, and together with Dragon Soul Aoshi, quietly closed in on Lonely Island and Super God Athena in the Divine Forbidden Land!
...
The east of Inferno City.
Following the map's guidance, Ning Xi stepped into a bamboo grove.
It was the only way to the quest location, the Lv85 Divine Temple.
Once she passed through the bamboo grove, she would reach the Divine Temple.
But just as Ning Xi reached the depths of the grove.
Swish!
Suddenly, a beam of black light fell from the sky and enveloped the unsuspecting Ning Xi.
[Ding~ You were hit by player Holy Hall · Radiance's Soul Suppression skill, and you are suppressed for 3 seconds!]
As the system prompt sounded.
Whoosh whoosh whoosh!
From the bamboo around her, a crowd of players burst out with weapons drawn.
"Liuli really came!"
"She's locked down!"
"Brothers, take Liuli down!"
"Kill her!"
At the call, a large crowd of Level 76 to 77 or so Sword and Shield Warriors and Berserkers, all with the [Holy Hall] guild ID over their heads, swept toward the suppressed Ning Xi with swords and battle axes in hand!
Before they could get near Ning Xi.
Whoosh!
The Ancestral Immortal-tier Heavenly Bewitchment Fox Clan Empress Ahri appeared in her Nine-Tailed Divine Fox form, her body turning into a phantom that darted through the crowd at top speed.
-513648!
-523497!
-502796!
...
Amid a field of skyrocketing white true damage.
Dozens of Holy Hall players didn't even get a chance to resist.
They were all killed instantly!
As [Soul Suppression] wore off.
Ning Xi recovered.
She frowned.
'The Holy Hall Guild should belong to Lonely Island's side.'
'Why are Lonely Island's people lying in wait here?'
'Could the Divine Temple already be exposed?'
When Ning Xi came out of the bamboo grove.
Sure enough, she saw that the vast Divine Temple map ahead, inside and out, was already swarming with Holy Hall Guild players!
